Navigator app is not working on my Android device. It was ok a few days ago, so I'm not sure why it's acting up now. Uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted phone, nothing works. I'm glad I have all of the details recorded in my phone notes app instead of relying on the Navigator app. When the app was working, I found it difficult to find all the details of my trip - itinerary, flights & excursions seem to be all over and not in one place.

This was very helpful while onboard the ship. The only complaint I have is that an event disappeared 30 minutes prior to an event start. If you wanted to know what is happening at 11am and it's 10.30am it is removed from schedule. The added info regarding other onboard items like meals, maps, faq was very helpful. This only works while on the ships wifi, which is understandable. I didn't use the chat feature but sounds like a great addition.

UPDATE: Now it installs very fast but won't open. I get a message saying that the app has a bug. // I've used it for 8 months with no problems, but since the upgrade, I can't get it to work at all. I've tried uninstalling several times, restarting my phone, changing the permissions, and force closing. Nothing works. All I get is a blank white screen. So now I can't do anything that requires the app.

Navigator is best suited for iPhones. It took a couple days to get it to work on my Google Android phone. Something about the security program prevented it from working until a path was found. I really like it for planning my day, however. It keeps me from missing shipboard events that I'm interested in attending. The chat function is very nice for keeping track of my group of 4, but not everyone takes their phone everywhere. The shore excursion page is great! I used Navigator many times daily

This app crashes (actually fails to load a page, and thereafter will not load ANY page unless I disconnect WiFi, reconnect, and then restart the app) every 90 seconds or so. The word 'inconvenient' does not cover it. Please make something with error recovery built-in, and please let us know when this is available. Thanks!

After trying multiple times to load this app ( after it stopped working) I would always get a white screen and it was driving me nuts. I finally opened the what's new section, and there we go. The solution is there. I went to the app through settings deleted the data and cache and tadah! It worked. This is what they suggested If you are experiencing a white screen with Navigator, please clear the app data and cache for Navigator.

This app is very subpar, especially when considering that you need it for most activities/planning on the ship. It constantly reloads itenerary lists, putting you back at the top and forcing you to scroll back through. You can use the chat feature but notifications may be horribly delayed, if you ever get them at all. Simple search functions don't seem to exist. You are constantly needing to close and reopen the app to get things semi working. It's really bad!

App is nearly unusable unless you have the newest iPhone. As the only Android person in my party of 6, it seems like I'm having the most issues (though their experience is also far from perfect). I can't see my statement, or use the chat function to reach out to my family (which is very neccessary because we are outside of our coverage range for text messaging). Though I can see the excursions and events easily, adding those to my itinerary only results in an error message. Needs BIG UPDATE!

Keep getting messages it can't connect to my account. No one onboard has a clue. Updating on next cruise. Same results. No one interested in the problem. Updated 1/19/20: Tried it on tablet to test whether it's phone. Same thing. This app needs a lot of work. Those errors stopped and now for a week the app can't stay connected. But I think that is a ship problem. A very serious one.

App does some things well, but what is frustrating is that notifications almost never work. My group tried to use chat to communicate with each other onboard, but we never got notifications that we had received messages. I wouldn't know until I opened the app to see something in the inbox. Also, between cruises, you have to completely log out and uninstall and reinstall, or it won't show the new cruise info.

This app is total junk. It crashes all the time, it freezes all the time, and you can't even log in as it freezes after you type one character of your login. Your cruise is run by this app as that is where your statements are, your excursion passes, your dinner reservations, etc. However, you need wifi to access it. Guest services says you can access it without wifi, but you can't. It's yet another example of how bad HAL's technology is regarding web technology. They need to scrap this.

First install left me with a strobe effect. Second install worked, but the app itself is so limited. See all comments below. It doesn't do much when it works, and it doesn't successfully do notifications or handle connectivity. Also, why on earth would a cruise line develop an in-house chat software that doesn't allow group chat? It might have been useful for that one thing if we could have used it to swap locations & plans as a group. Very poor showing.

The app is so buggy that it constantly flashes and won't show me any info that I need. Ordering food from the app is equally difficult because it won't stop flashing and reloading the page. Ask my other apps are functioning normally. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted the phone, tried it on Wi-Fi, tried it on 4G/5G. The app just is terrible and needs stabilization to be functional. It's a good start, but it needs a LOT of work to be useful on board or off.

It's called navigator but it is difficult to navigate. Doesn't run smooth, keeps glitching. But worse of all it's intent is to sell you more not keep you informed. Things you need like weather is not there. But if you want to buy an expensive dinner or shore excursion, no problem. They should take a look at some of the competition apps.

Chat functionality not great. App notifies that there is a new message, but then doesn't actually show the message unless the app is closed and then restarted. Chat messages are small black text on gray background, which is very hard to read. In the main menu, you have to scroll both up and down, and left and right to see all the choices. Also the app is not showing my final statement at all.

This recent update is literally broken. Pages constantly refresh for no reason, which breaks the ability to use it to do most things. I could barely log in to get boarding passes because the refresh constantly closes the keyboard when it loses focus. This is on a brand new S24, completely fresh install. This is unacceptable to have pushed an update in this state, and then left it this way for over a month at the least. This is the software development equivalent of taking a dump on the floor

For an app that you have to depend on DURING your trip, it has a terrible user experience on some Androids: The screen is constantly reloading and flickering, as if it's responding to constant API calls and resetting the scroll position back to the top, making it IMPOSSIBLE to access and scroll to the bottom of the screen: horrible UX because it's a given to scroll down on small screens!

I am genuinely unsure if I have ever seen a less functional piece of software in my life and I test software for a living. I am on my cruise right now and accidentally tapped log out and now can't log back in because it just brings up and cancels biometric authentication repeatedly so that it looks like it's flickering and you can't do anything with it. That's all this app does now because you can't even look at the daily schedule without signing in so I guess it's paper time.

This is one of the worst apps I have ever used. It is constantly blinking and winging out rendering it not functional for accessing information or whatever else you are trying to do with it. I'm not even on the ship and all it would contain at this point is storing information, so there is no reason that it should have so many loading problems.

Horrible app. Difficult to navigate. But the biggest problem is adding events to my itinerary from the planner page. All I get is a message saying that there has been a problem and to try again later. Tried clearing cache/data and uninstall/reinstall. EDIT: A new low... we're 24hrs out from cruising and the app is almost non-functional. It tells us we need to connect to cruise ship wifi. The daily programs that were visible are no longer there. Not a way to be excited about the cruise!
