Here, nobody uses it any more, due to the excessive and intrusive advertising. Some ads have a fake close button, which does not comply with Google policy. Particularly Lazada ads.. Often, it's impossible to shut the ads after even 60 seconds, 90 seconds or longer. In England most peope have left Hornet, so it has about 1 profile for every 100 on Grindr. In Asia it's just a matter of time before people quit.

Excessivelly intrusive and obnoxiously ad-loaded app. Consistent and persistent popping of ads, even when you're typing or reading a profile. Some even have 2 ads that you need to wait and close. This is extremely annoying and makes it really hard to use the app !!! Especially with the ads ! And notifications are more than often duplicated. Messages already read, and yet it still notifies you again. What ??? If you can invest in ads implementation, please also fix your bugs! please. LESS ADS!

Buggy as hell. Not possible to enter your birth date, need to endless scroll to pick. Totally lame... Tons of ads Created my profile steling data from other apps without my concent.

Uninstalled after an unskippable full screen video ad within the first couple minutes of using the app. That's in addition to all the other ads in the app layout and content flow. It's too much. I hadn't had time to even evaluate any value of this app before being smothered in ads. If they think i will waste my time waiting on an ad before receiving any value in return, they can think again!

I live in Indiana, so keep that in mind. The app works, but I don't really like the setup. It works like a social media platform, which is not ideal for me because I barely check my other social media platforms like Insta and Facebook. The app is also limited, so you can only do so much to personalize your account. You also have to pay for verification. There are also not enough people in my area using the app. The app is not terrible, but there are certainly better options out there.

DO NOT UPDATE YOUR APP! Each update they released is only getting worse. They removed the good old feature! For example: Off Grid (the thing that made you invisible) is now only for paid users.

So many scammers join and follow several thousand people in less than a few hours. When they follow without chatting 1st I block them. 🚫 It seems to get worse every day. Most of the ads are for the straight dating pool... Women looking for men... Why these ads on a gay app? Beats me! I have learned not to expect anything from this app.

Error streaming after I paid for boost. And cant joint another streaming. Its getting worst. Its crush after upgradng app. My session has expired, and I had login again, but still cant and then my session has expired again 👎🏻 AND TO MUCH ADS!!!!!!

They do not like your comment, they block you. Furthermore 2 phones same location, same settings do not show same results. Random filters. Greed driven now. Latest update spams u with ads. If possible I would give -5 stars.

Just don't bother to download if you want to use it free. It is so limiting, worse than tinder. Near by sections shows just a handful of profiles, searching other locations limited to only 3! Filters doesn't work properly It is just full of very annoying ads if you are a free user. I am not against ads, it is what you get if you don't pay. But ads just make it unusable! Ads that have multiple layers that take ages to skip, keep popping up after every action you take. You see more ads than men 😂

2024 update: the "ads" in this app have gotten shady & more aggressive, what the hell @Google is doing allowing such ads? 2022 update: riddled with bugs, aweful crippling frustrating bugs, those Hornet even employ any developers anymore!!! Either make extra features free and keep the pop-up ads or remove the super annoying pop-up ads and keep the extra-features-fee. By the way the format you've chose for your pop-ups are very annoying (can't express that enough) and in a click-bate manner 👎👎

Great social media type app for gay men. It has a little bit of everything, but you can use it for dates and meeting people as well. You can share articles and photos and videos. There are stories. My only real complaint is that when you click an external link, it doesn't save your place in the app for more than a minute or two. Unlike other apps, it will reload the whole app and you will have to scroll through your feed to find where you are at again.

Inbox advertising and notifications for spam/advertisements is total BS! Not to mention the random 5 second commercials that lock the app until finished with embarrassingly loud music making it impossible to be discreet while using the app. Also the ever present banner ads on top of giant ads within the grid of profiles, means sometimes 50% + of the screen is ads. It's just far too aggressive & ruins the experience. Worse than any app I've used. Deleted account and uninstalled. 👎
