Always easy to use, like the fact that all appointments / doctor on duty etc can be viewed and selected to suit other commitments. Appointments can also be made out of office/surgery hours. The fact that it doesn't clog up phones at doctors surgery reception is also appreciated by staff I would think

It is very easy to book my apptn with HotDoc. There is no need to ring the clinic to wait online and check the available times. It also updated my calendar to remind me of my apptn.

Now that the Confirm Appt Link finally works and actually goes to where it's supposed to rather than a blank white page, I'll give the app 5 ⭐ again. I just hope the update I'm about to install does make me eat my words. 🤞

Health Engine is better. Two occasions I have booked only to get to the doctor and my appointment not be booked and I've been turned away. I have been booking online for years. This has never happened to me outside of this app/website.

The app works well, but i do wish it would stop asking me for my credit card, i am always bulked billed as i have a concession card.

appointment confirmed but not booked. Requires a lot of personal data that should be kept by the doctors surgery, not in an app

An awesomely efficient, great non communicative type of app for booking appointments. In the past when I've needed to view times available and making appointments I've not had an issue.

Love the ease of making appointments when the physical office is closed. e.g. weekend, evening. I was recently overseas and was able to book an appointment for the day after my return, meaning I didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment.

uninstalling as it wouldn't stop notifying me of "unread messages" I've already read and there's no tech support option to help rectify this.

CONVENIENT HotDoc makes it so easy to book an appointment without having to ring up the practice, plus it allows users to see all available times.

This is super simple to use. If you have a doctor's surgery that you always go to you just find it by searching for it by name or use your doctor's name then you can save it and from then on you just select your type of appointment and when they are available. You can book months in advance. You can search for dentists, psychologists, physio, optometrist, chiropractor and podiatrists if they have signed up with hotdocs and not all practices do.

I have no clue whether it's my account or it's the app, but everything 1 week in advance unto a month in advance my appoints are always declined. I do not know what happened to the app but although it's easy to use its becoming painful to actually successfully book said appointment.

Great application for all medical appointments. No phone calls required and no waiting on hold, it's just the press of a button and your appointments booked. You can see all available times and dates too choose what you need. Alot of services in one place.

good app when it's working easy to use. it's hit and miss with scripts if you're waiting to get into the doctor but other than that. 4 stars because no-one / no app is perfect. always room for improvement .

I booked an available appointment & message states this appointment is no longer available So, I booked for the next available time only to receive a message that I am previously booked & can only see the doctor once a day! This has happened frequently over the past weeks for myself & another friend I have updated my Hot Doc app as requested, but the problem still persists

it's a great app but when your doctor is booked out months in advance it can't help at all and neither can reception, when patients can make 5 appointments 1 month apart and every patient does it then of course the idiots that only make 1 appointment at a time are going to miss out on seeing their preferred doctor, looks like ill be looking for another surgery as I need a constant support medical system

My GP recently changed to using this app for appointment scheduling and it's been a breath of fresh air. Well it was until you removed the telehealth option! Why? Now we're back to having to call the surgery to make sure they have us down for a phone appointment! Why on earth would we bother with an app that doesn't show all options?

VERY DISAPPOINTING though not surprising Like most of these apps that we are being encouraged to use, this app is not user-friendly or flexible. Does not enter/update appointments booked at practice, meaning YOU have to keep your own separate system anyway. Not all available appointments at the practice are displayed, so you still need to call to check. The Calendar .ics file doesn't always match the confirmation email.

exceptional. consistantly easy to to use and to make appointment takes 1 minute, which is the main reason i like hotdoc. clear user interface is easy to navigate, no need to search around. confirmations and reminders are great. i am not distracted by adds at all. i wish all similar apps. were as good as this. the new option to get an alternative consult within 15 minutes is a game changer.
