HATE:CRASHES CONSTANTLY!!!!! It's almost impossible opening this app . It constantly logs you and says there's an error when trying to log back in . It's literally impossible looking at my work schedule , yet they charge for this app. I've done every update they make yet it crashes constantly. Only happens with this app . I've asked other coworkers and they've been experiencing the same thing as well so I know it's not my phone . I hate that they charge for an app that can't seem to work right.

I hate this app. The website is pretty good so I assumed the app must be better. It is instead absolutely terrible. It takes forever to load and that's if you're lucky enough for it to load. The website has many features the app doesn't have like specifying what position you want to pick up during auto pick up. Many times I have auto pick up on and have to log into the app later to find out a shift got released and it didn't "auto" pick up. Use the website, don't waste time with the app.

So the app has never been great, it was more ease of access over visiting the mobile site or logging into my pc. The app has had a steady decline of it's ability to function properly, first with only minor connectivity issues, or long load times. However, the app now all but ceases to function entirely. 404 errors, unable to log in, 2+ minute load times on wifi just to get to see your work schedule, most messages don't send or send twice. Switching between any section is bound to freeze the app.

The concept behind this app is a good one. The fundamental problem is that it's unreliable on a good day. Constant errors, failures to load, and general bugs ruin what could have been a great app. And from a paid app, no less. Unless your company requires it, look for a different platform for scheduling needs. (2 stars for the great concept)

Update 12/26/19: app still is terrible. Takes literally 1-2 minutes to open every time. I hate it. Don't spend $3 please. Can't see schedule of some other work groups like on website, can't find paychecks. Only reason I got app was to delete auto pickups, cause you can't do it on site. Don't charge me 3 bucks for trash, when I still have to flip back and forth between the site and app. Update: still can't find paychecks, can't choose specific sections in auto pickup.

It's a great app, when it feels like letting you log in anyway. There are entire days sometimes where I'm unable to log in despite the username and password being prefect. It's happening more frequently which is really inconvenient since this is how they post the schedule. Kinda bummed I had to pay for this. Update: Nearly 3.5 years later and it's still unreliable, won't remember my login info anymore. I'm not going to contact support because I don't have time when I'm making sure I'm not late

Terrible. Literally just downloaded it a few days ago because I thought it'd be more convenient than the website and nope. It doesn't give notifications at all. Nor does the app show shift releases, even though there is one in the app. I have to go to the website anyway to pick up shifts for my co-workers. It's bs. I also got atuo-logged out and it will not let me log back in even though I log on on Google Chrome just fine. Waste of money. Just use your browser.

I cannot believe they have the nerve to charge people for this app, it is seriously awful. Half the time it tells me log in error no matter how many times i close and reopen it. Then, when i launch the app through the play store it logs in fine. It is constantly telling me there is no internet connection or other error messages so I have to reload and force stop the app over and over again until it decides to work. This is one of the worst apps I have ever used, let alone paid for.

The idea behind creating a mobile app for a scheduling service such as HotSchedules is to make it more accessible. This app is not very efficient and works a lot worse than the browser version. Online, you can see a clear format of your schedule and also what you can/can't pick up; here you can't. It would be great to have the option of handing shift directly to other coworkers. Customer service is decent but needs work. You are asked for a lot of proof if wanting to submit a complain.

I've seen free Russian hackware work more efficiently than this paid for service. This app is riddled with glitches; from the moment you open it with an immediate "log in error" pop up, to extremely slow connection speeds (even on wifi or 5g). After logging in, it takes forever to populate with the schedules, and when it does it takes just as long to look deeper into the shift. This would be acceptable if the app were free but since it isn't, this is pretty unacceptable.

I used to love this app when it was working properly. Now they've added in rating your shift EVERY day you work, which is pointless because our managers really dont care. And the app now takes forever to load. I work 2 jobs so I have to log out and back in without having the ability to just switch profiles, and it's a 10 minute process just to load. Fix the bugs hotschedules team!

After every update, the app logs me out, & then doesn't recognize my password for a while. After I am FINALLY able to login, I receive an error code for about the whole next week after, & can barely if ever see my schedule the whole time. I have to use the website..... which makes me want my money back, because the website makes more sense to use with all these problems the app has. This happens too often. Every single time there is an update. I Need to see my work schedule!

Every single time I open it it doesn't load. have to open it, close it, then open it again. And if it does load it doesn't load the schedule on the first screen. Then I have to go in and click a random tab then switch back to the schedule. Had this app for like 8 or 9 years. Just like every other app on the market. Every time they update it ,it gets worse. Update November 2022* also have to deal with an update every four days too apparently.

I've had to use this app for work for the past 5 years, and it seems to just get worse. Are these issues mostly only on Android? Please fix for ALL users. If you offer it on Android, it should be able to work on Android. Great concept, WHEN it works. Keep getting log in errors, socket closed, etc. It's getting REALLY annoying to even try. "Bugs fixed???!!!"

The last 3 weeks I have had issues accessing any tabs within the app when I'm logged in. The most recent error message that pops up is "Socket Closed." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. I also have tried to download the free HS Team app and the same stuff is happening. I never have this issue when I'm on a desktop. This is a paid for app and it should be functioning normally and it is not.

It's good when I finally get it to work. May the odds be in your favor of getting in. I get 3 different types of "errors" when it doesnt even try to load. I cannot log in which is frustrating because I need to see my schedule. I've started taking screenshots when I can get in so I dont have to spend 15 mins trying to get in each day. It is very unreliable. Spare your time and money.

This app is a joke. It is not user friendly and the functionality is terrible. You can view your schedule and send a message that's about it. You cannot view the entire staffs schedule, you cannot post, copy, or edit a schedule. You can't really do anything. Very disappointing and unnecessary. Just log onto hotschedules from your phones web browser and save the 2.99. (UPDATE 2/24/2023) I am still using this app. Lately errors and bugs are so bad you can barely use app. No Stream Socket. Fix It.

This app has more problems than any other app I use and considering it's required for my job it really makes me angry. It crashes ALL the time and has more updates than my laptop does. The amount of free apps that I have that never has issues like this vs. the fact that this company has THIS many corporate partnerships and can't get it together is aggravating. If you're going to charge people to use your technology the least you can do is make sure it has LESS hiccups.

Works on and off. You'll be staring at a black screen that says "my schedule" for a long time. Click to see what employees are working with you on a specific night and it'll say "no employees found" you'll have to back out multiple times until you are able to see it and half the time that doesn't work. Alot of closing application just to get it to work properly. Poorly designed and a frustration to work with, especially after dropping money to obtain the app.
