Way too expensive ($89 for lifetime access) and free version limits you to 5 minutes a day. I didn't get a chance to figure out whether the lessons are any good as it cut my day off before I even got to finish a single lesson. There are many great and affordable apps for studying and testing by the HSK levels. I recommend trying one of the ones that are both more affordable and don't have daily time limits on the free version. I'm uninstalling just 10 minutes after installing it.

I purchased lifetime subscriptions to both companion and companion+. I own a Samsung Galaxy S10+, and the phone's front notch camera is in the way, and I can't see or press an option on the top right-hand corner. Any chance you can make it Samsung Galaxy S10+ friendly? Also, the Google translation engine isn't very good at explaining the grammar in Companion+. Real human explanation is preferable, or use DeepL. I'm sure this app will get better.

Best chinese learning app, ever. All the vocabulary are organized, and grammar points are easy to memorize in bulk.

The application runs well, for preparation for the hsk exam this is very helpful, a little input to make the font even bigger to make it easier to read, and added a dark mode. If possible, you can add some kind of games to remember vocabulary, or idioms, and you can also add stories about China, general knowledge in China, or culture in China, or podcasts for various levels from easy to advanced.

It's ok. Wish there was an option to reset my progress, I haven't studied for a few months and would like to start from scratch. It's not convenient to review, and, even though you forgot 1/3, have all scores still on 100% from last time. I also wish there was a translation and pronunciation of each word after selecting the answer.

Give me a break, 2 min into the lesson it is already asking me to buy in order to learn. What is this I can't go to another lesson because I don't have the star and I can't continue to the current lesson because I haven't made any purchase. If I could give 0 star for review I would have.

Even if you've already purchased the subscription to be able to use the app, you can't do anything unless you purchase VIP for a rediculous fee (even with "71% off"!). I was using it fine and the content is good. Now there's a Chinese new year offer which I can't get passed or close, so I cant continue using the app. Very frustrating as this is the official app and I wouldn't expect this from an official exam body..

The best app to learn Chinese. Totally recommend it. The only thing I would have liked in the app is a "Stroke training" for characters. Remembering all the characters are hard, an exercise/training only for the strokes would be great and very helpful. Also adding some grammar lessons would also be very helpful. Nonetheless, it is one of the best app, if not the best app to learn Chinese.

Great App! Bought the life time VIP subscription. But please add a dark mode if possible. *Edit* after using this app for a while i noticed following drawbacks: Example sentences are very tiny. Makes it very difficult to write them down (even when using the large font size). Because there is no dark mode, almost the entire screen is white, making it difficult on the eyes for prolonged uses and also drains the battery of my phone fairly quickly.

This app is not great. It's pretty but the text is misaligned and the audio is muddy. I expected more but there is so much you can't see until you pay for it.

Very useful app. However, there are two things need to be improved. First you need to add undo button in case we can reselect our answers. Second, you need to read aloud the answer after finishing a sentence. It's going to help us to practice listening and pronunciation. I'm looking forward to have an update soon. Thank you very much.

[Please add dark mode like you did for super chinese] I'm glad to find an app with so much vocabulary and different types of exercises for it. On other chinese learning apps, I finished their content, but my vocabulary was still tiny compared to daily speech.

Amazing app! It is been very efficient so far! No complaints. There is all the HSK levels and their contents (for me, that is the best feature that stands out from other apps). I hope it is kept like this free from any charges.

It's an OK app, very restricted for free users with a 5 minute cap per day. Got the paid version and a little frustrated with the format as each unit specifically focuses on vocabulary, initially, but as you progress to the testing stages it throws in vocab and subjects it's not taught you... I'm not psychic. It does the same with grammar, tests you using aspects or situations it's not taught you. I'm sure if you need an app or site simply to test, rather than teach, there are free options.

Pretty good app for Chinese study. Developers please fix that some questions have "continue" at the bottom but some move forward automatically after finishing. The continue button is often overlying the answers for the next question which I sometimes accidentally answer incorrectly as I was expecting to press the continue button

Best app for advance learners. I live in china and my level is quite advanced (hsk4 almost), so other apps duolingo, busuu only cover basic chinese and i felt i need something easy for me to continue learning, so this app is great, yes the audios and text are advanced but is perfect tool for people who dont have the time to seat for hours to study, with this app i can study at work, metro, bathroom, lunch time wherever. I pass hsk3 due to the app and now preparing for hsk4

It's okay at best. Main issue right now, is that with the multiple choice questions, the blocks with the answers in it don't fit, so you can only see part of the sentence... like "used at the end of the sentence..." and the rest you can't see and there's multiple questions with that answer. Basically not formatted well.

I used this app couple of times before and it was helpful , but with the newest update it elevated the learning experience to a whole new level , with new features and recorded classes I'm learning Chinese in a way easier and better way . Just to be clear I'm talking about the paid version not the free version , it's cheap and totally worth it

It's amazing app. It's perfect for practice and preparing HSK 1-6. First it provides a level-test so you can find your level, then it will recommend the best level for you according to your answers and if the recommended level doesn't work with you, you can choose the level that you need to prepare for. The ways to practice your level are so useful and have rich content. ~I highly recommend it~

Useful but some bugs - many of the questions have more than one correct answer. Also, after paying for the full version, it's still impossible to access all parts of the app without paying even more money. The AI component to check writing is not included in the full version purchase (it must be paid for separately as a subscription instead of one-time purchase)
