Another great app ruined by the upgrade. Like most recent reviewers on here I have been using the app for a while. The recent upgrade has brought a bad font and a horrible interface to use to try and customize the clock face to something more readable in the dark. Until I can find another app I will keep using it or go back to the old fashion clock you plug into a wall. I don't understand the need to break something that worked.

This app is AWESOME! It contains everything I want to know when I start the day, with characters that are so large I don't have to search for the information it provides! In addition, it offers a host of options with to take advantage of in respect to how each person using it once it to be displayed on there Android phone screen - - such as the font and background color, the orientation and many other options. Thank you to whomever is responsible for creating this very important and great app!

Turns your phone into a huge digital clock. That's it. I've noticed lately that if other apps try to display on top of the clock display there's a chance it will lock up the device, forcing you to do a reset to regain control. This is a recent development. Have used this app for years, across multiple devices, never had any other issues.

**Update-I was able to choose a theme that matched the old one. No control over it, but that's OK. The brightness of the current (old) one is back and acceptable.** Loved this app because it had a clock face I could read in total darkness without glasses AND was very dim so it didn't light up my bedroom. The new version got rid of my old clock face as far as I can tell and more importantly, the new default night mode is way too bright and no way to fix it in the free version. Very disappointed.

This huge digital clock is the best thus far. It has many choices for customizing the screen. I enjoy the night mode and weather on main screen. The alarm is easy to set up. I like to 24hr feature so I don't set the alarm wrongly, that is one of my favorites ones. It doesn't consume my battery that much either and the phone isn't over heating. Overalls, it is a good app.

The app seems to lose some customizations when a new version update is installed. I'd like to see a backup function to easily restore the state of the display modifications and parameters selections I prefer to use. Also, there's the persistent bug with my Samsung phones that renders the next alarm display function virtually useless. I've been back and forth with the developer many times on that issue! Wish that one could be fixed...

I've used this app since late 2020. Very good app for the most part. Very customizable despite it being the base version. However, what I have noticed throughout the last year is that with the recent updates, the app tends to crash every now and then. Some times it'll be 1-3 weeks before it'll crash. Other times it'll be 1-3 days, and in some cases 2-16 hours. Not the end of the world, but it is worth mentioning. Other than that quirk, very excellent app.

Not liking the new updates. I have used the Huge Digital clock app for over a year now. It was great to use during massage therapy sessions because I can see the clock in low lighting. Plus, I loved the fact that I could change the color of the clock to green, blue, etc. Because the red color for the clock is not favorable for my eyes. But, with the update last week, that color option is no longer available.

Update: Was 5 stars, but in the newest version, touching the clock brings a pop-up menu that covers the clock. The reason I wanted the app was to be able to see time at night without glasses. Now I can't, so it's useless to me. Just does what it's supposed to. I love being able to see the time in the middle of the night without my glasses. Also, can set custom color so it is the perfect brightness for me.

A decent clock but the app sent so many notifications of features, upgrades, etc that couldn't be stopped that I uninstalled the app. I don't need that much aggravation. PS: after my initial post the developer contacted me and told me how to turn off notices. It wasn't obvious, but it was straightforward. I have reinstalled the app and I'm pleased with it in the new configuration.

Ads that take up half the settings screens and are just SLIGHTLY delayed to get you to reach for a setting as it pops up and gets in the way, causing accidental ad clicks. While other premium features can be purchased a la carte, the ad-free unlock is only available if you purchase ALL of the other features, whether you want them or not. The clock does what it says on the tin, but I don't condone or support predatory software design.

Was good, then went to subscription model. I used this a good bit to have a dim clock at night, and even paid to unlock the dimming. Then it went to a subscription model where you either watch ads to use it, or pay $1.50, or $5, per month, to use a clock on your phone (!?), Beyond ridiculous. Uninstalled. I should get a refund for the in app purchase I made.

This used to be a great clock. I have been using it for years. However, with every update, some features go behind a pay wall, and the ads become more intrusive. The date and day disappeared. The next alarm disappeared. The monthly SUBSCRIPTION to use these features is exorbitant. I switched to Giant Clock

Decent clock, wish BG was full black in night mode (crown icon is annoying) and menu comes up accidentally always. Cant see where to turn off. I would pay small fee for this, but never a subscription model. My old clock allowed a tap anywhere on the screen to toggle bright and darker mode this was AMAZING functionality and wish I didn't have to search for the moon icon always. Many people use glasses, and putting them on to find controls is not ideal. Would be 5 stars if these fixes were done

I can see it in the middle of the night without my glasses! And the background and font colors are adjustable so you can make the clock and dim as you want for the middle of the night :-) Updates jan 2024; An old version of this app that is still running on my Galaxy S4 is excellent. This one is a pain in the neck. Can't alter anything without a very expensive subscription. I'm going to look for something else. Very disappointed! 2024-03 creeps crashing. Killing my battery. ITS BROKEN.

I thought I might get the quickest response here. I use this app on several little cheap phones around the house. Now I can't figure out how to change the time on one of them. Between moving to Germany and DAYLIGHT SAVINGS I have changed the time on the phone itself, and has also changed the time in the app, but it doesn't hold. It just goes back to the old incorrect time - 1 hour behinds

all of a sudden,my huge clock wallpaper is gone. It was supposed to be a one time purchase. What happened?tyhe developer of this fantastic clock is the kindest most genrrous man. No problem or question is too small or unimportant. He not only listens to everyone, but constantly uses feedback to improve an already perfect. . product. Alrhough great for the general public , it is a godsend for the visually impaired! There aren't enough stars to rate this clock & its developer!

Listen, this app is fantastic. Accurate, easy to read and has script style. I wish this would have have pre installed with my phone! It just tells time but is a great interface. I have to add that I had a small glitch and contacted support. Promptly received a reply and was able to resolve the small issue. I have to tell you this is really a great app and bears investigating all the software from this developer!!!

I've been using this app for years and love it. All of a sudden, last week the clock turned red, and then I got an update and it stopped completely. Within a week there was another update that fixed the problem. In almost 8 years of using this app, there were two times that operating system updates have caused problems, but Huge Clock fixed it within a week both times once they were notified of the problem. They really care about their customers! I really do ❤️ this app!

Works perfectly. Does everything I want it to do. Although honestly the last few updates have just been annoyances, though you can usually fix the problem somewhere in settings. This last update made my screen dark all the time when showing the clock, and I can't figure out how to turn that off. EDIT: It fixed itself. Not even an update, it just stopped doing that... ok, cool.
