UPDATE! - 2023 now: I have been using this app for 8 years now! The subscription has gone up in price, but the app is invaluable to my everyday working. 0 issues - simply works! **December 2015 Review** This app has always been great! I have been using it for about 3 years now and am a premium subscriber. The missed call catcher feature is also a very handy feature especially in those low reception areas where you believe you had reception to receive a call, yet the caller couldn't get through..

free service just removed with 2 wk notice. shame as it was one of the best apps in this category. thanks for responding to the review. there are plenty of other similar apps that you can get for free. the service you guys provided was really good. I've had the app for years. it was supported with annoying ads but I put up with it due to just how good the app was. so technically the app was free but you guys received monetary rewards from the ads. so I don't see how you subsidised it?

By bye Hullomail. If it have been £1 a year or similar I might have kept it but £23.48 a year for voicemail I get for free. I'm afraid not. Might have been worth it if I still had to pay to access mail but that's a thing of the past unfortunately. Don't need the transcript function. Maybe you should have kept a cheaper subscription choice with very basic functions? Laters! Guess that's what happens when you sell out.

I've been a loyal user for 10 years now - the app is great. However, the new price increase is just ridiculous! And now looking to leave. I've paid around £5.99-£7.99 over the last 10yrs, but now my 'discount' price is £12.99. (Its £19.99 for a new user!!) That's just too much for a voicemail. I never asked for more transcrips, or any! - I never use transcrips. The lite was perfect with recording messages, having a visual list and emailing a copy.

I have been using hullomail for a few years and it works very well. Voicemails can be sent to my email address so I can hear them even without my phone. The transcription function also works well. I recently changed phone and required support from the team (phone behaving badly). They were quick to respond and went beyond to help me resolve my issue.

I used Hullomail years ago but got fed up of notifications never coming through. Unfortunately the app I've been using for the last 7/8 years has been abandoned and Hullomail is the only other visual voicemail with a rating above 3*. Sadly, I deactivated and uninstalled it as soon as I saw what the prices actually are: £4.99 p/m or £29.99 p/a just for 2 min of recording time. If there was a cheaper option for JUST visual voicemail with 5 min and no transcription, I'd pay. Not worth it otherwise.

Fantastic app! 6 Star rating! Visual voicemail without having to play msg. Pick which msg you want to listen too, instead of having to listen to all. Blocks any unwanted calls without disturbing you. Get to keep all your msgs, and have them save to your email. Report feature for unwanted callers. Use your own voice, or upload a wav or mp3 file recording. No issues with crashing. Great and friendly customer service! 👌

This is simply the best app. I use it with a Vodafone post pay SIM and I love it. Utterly dependable, user friendly and makes my life easier. As if that's not enough, if you divert all calls whilst roaming in a high cost destination, you can save a fortune in avoiding high calling charges by picking up your voicemails for free over WiFi or a data only esim. Brilliant!

UPDATE: 4/13-someone contacted me regarding this but it literally disappeared from my push notifications after I read it. Please email or resend that message of assistance. I am with Verizon FYI. hullomail should let people know up front that uninstalling ur app, does NOT DISCONNEC SVS. I have uninstalled your app and apparently even after doing so you are continuing to pick up my calls. This should not be happening. Please tell me how to fix this?

A shame regarding this product's decline. new owner and the product has evolved to suck. Youmail is where i have gone. It seems to be where Hullomail was at one point. I have not seen a useful update in 5 years. The product now sucks and that is a shame. Many voicemails seem to cut off in the middle or at some time when the voicemail is no where complete. It would also be nice to have it backup somewhere centrally available to other devices. This is now a ruined product. Too bad.

Best voicemail etc app out there!! I would be lost without this app! In fact I was! Switched to a different tmobile plan and when it was activated, my Hullomail was gone! Dealing with the dialup voicemail service was killing me! What a time waster! The "visual voicemail " tmobile app has NEVER worked. HULLOMAIL is smooth and easy! It is well worth subscription rate! I've had it for years. Just got done reactivating with best tech help!! DO IT! NO REGRETS!

Not bad for what it does. This is 100% worth the money imho. And with it set up on one phone but installed on two separate phones I can get notified if my main line missed a call without even having it turned on. But sometimes in a perfect signal area it is slow by minutes or even hours to notify me of a missed call. Even with settings at push or 15 min intervals. And sometimes it refuses to update a personalized voice message. It's not perfect but it's good enough I've had it for years.

I have had this app for at least the past 7 years, when I updated the app, all of a sudden, I had to pay $12/for the year. Like many who had it free, I uninstalled and left. However, after only 2 weeks I have not found an app that can even compare AND I refuse to use Verizons Voicemail system that is a long and drawn out process for the amount of calls I receive and miss. Just today it was ten. Props to you HulloMail! The app is easy to use and I can quickly listen to messages without hassle!

I simply do not understand the negative reviews for this app. It does what it does exceptionally well. My provider (Mint Mobile) does not include visual voicemail for Android. I have tried virtually every voicemail app, and I have found this one meets my needs the best. I have a call screener app that I like a lot, so I don’t want my voicemail app to do that. Yes, there are cheaper options, but they simply do not work as well, in my opinion. For example, many severely limit the number of transcriptions you can get. I find that feature essential, and HulloMail does this as well or better than any other app I have tried. It can also block voicemails by hanging up on callers, which is outstanding. The interface makes it quick and easy to process voicemails, and the developers have been responsive to even the simplest inquiries. In short, I think they are doing everything right, and they earn your business. I cannot recommend this app enough!

I used this app for a long time when it was free. I liked it so much I was willing to pay the $9 a year, but for some reason my app wouldn't let me pay for the upgrade. The customer service were great..and tried to help but couldn't figure out why the "buy" buttons were grayed out. I deleted and tried some other voicemail apps but they were horrible. This week I thought I'd reinstall HulloMail and hope it was fixed.. it was. I happily paid the yearly fee and it' was up and working in minutes. I love it. Does everything I want.. I hated having to call a number to listen to a voicemail. It's so easy to scan quickly.. delete the ones I don't want..and know from the transcription, which ones I don't even want to listen to. So happy that buy button worked!

Nice app! After I left Verizon, I was looking for a replacement app for visual voicemails. There really aren't too many options, and the several I tried we're disappointing. Then I found Hullomail. I love it! I used it for the trial period, then signed up for Lite. For now, I think Lite will meet my needs. It will send a duplicate of each visual voicemail to an email address, either manually or automatically. The app is fast. Layout is logical. Transcription is remarkably accurate. Well done!

Works, but jacked up the price. I was fine paying the initial low price for the app but they jacked it up to $50 per year. I'm not spending that much money for simple voicemail alternative. Instead I just went into my phone and changed the settings to completely disable voicemail. If someone needs to get a hold of me they can send a text or they can just call me like a normal person. $50 a year? Totally not worth it. I have uninstalled the app and killed my auto renewal.

Was ok while it worked, I have a Samsung note 10 plus.no other issues with the phone.now all callers get number cannot be identified. support doesn't exist. I'm losing work because of this. Update, Support did finally get back to me And I was able to resolve the current issue I had changed providers about 6 months ago, but it continued working until Dec. 16th. support pointed me to a provider setting and changing it to T-Mobil fixed it. overall the program is decent, it does at times have transcription errors and only a limited recording time even with the pro. but it sure is nice to get that email rather than checking voicemail all the time.

It could be a good app, but unfortunately I wasn't able to use it. I knew I might not be able to, because my carrier is Straightalk, which I understand sometimes doesn't allow call forwarding. I'm so sad, because I don't have any other options for visual voicemail, apparently. I just got my new phone, and new service, and I'm not used to not having visual voicemail. It's such a pain having to go into the audio-only voicemail, I hate it!.

The app shows I have no missed calls, which is absurd because I have at least 10 missed calls a day. They did resolve the issue where only part of the message was transcribed. Otherwise, it works great. All messages are sent to email and are available for at least a year, and I can create a custom greeting for every caller. I really like that the app gives me the option to respond to callers who leave a message via text right from the app using the native texting app.
