It's a very good app but it's become a little too expensive. It used to very competitive with cable providers but it costs more than the cable company and internet provider charges.

Worst app on AndroidTV of all video streaming apps. Regularly has connection issues. The whole "Home network" thing for LiveTV is horrible if you have problems with your ISP. Incredibly poor quality compared with other apps.

Why is My Stuff so hard to get to? It's always tab 3 or 4 at the top of the screen. My Stuff should be the default screen when the app launches. The UI has been terrible for years. It's really unpleasant to use.

Absolutely garbage app. Only app in Android TV Streaming that keeps android users at 720p or below. Constantly needs to be restarted and has sync issues. Hulu does not care about android users

Nearly always crashes with the hulu default "p-dev320" error. It's terrible. If I can stream from my PC to my box, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to stream from my streaming box.

Didn't read the reviews before I bought the annual subscription - had no idea I was just robbed of an annual fee AND they added commercials where there had not been any. I will be cancelling - no sense keeping a membership to an app that I can no longer use. Totally disappointed but whatever.

It works, so I'll give it more than 1 star, however, it does not support 4K, HDR/Dolby Vision, nor 5.1 Audio. Since these work on the FireTV it's rather disappointing that it won't work on my TV's built-in AndroidTV system.

Disney is a multi-hundred-billion dollar company, and yet I can't stream video into my living room with this broken app. I've never experienced such a failure of basic function as with this app. It's endlessly frustrating and will probably lead me to ultimately cancel my Hulu and Disney+ accounts. Please put a tiny sliver of your billions into making this app usable.

Unreliable app... Disney need to fix the app.. it stalls... does not load up.. why can't Hulu/Disney make an app that works like Netflix or Amazon video? totally sucks for the amount of money they charge. Hulu/Disney should pay people to become users instead. Horrible app.

Black screen, sometimes audio still plays, requires unplugging power to reset the Shield and then it works fine for maybe the rest of the day. I am about ready to move to YoutubeTV.

Takes about 1 minute to open. Then another 1 minute to load the thumbnails for the shows. Then 1 minute to play a video. Netflix loads and plays in seconds... So does every other video playing app. Just astonishingly bad.

Auto play doesnt work. Trying to play a title after finishing one doesnt work. Any troubleshooting doesnt fix it. 3 months trying to contact the weirdos on support hasnt helped. Hulu doesnt exist for TV any longer it seems. I dont watch tv on phone or PC so this is useless. Garbage.

Constantly locks up and have to exit and log back in. Sometimes it will start playing a show but all you see is a black screen and no sound. The only workaround that I found that works in uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it. Bummer, but some of the shows are worth the trouble with the app.

Constant video drops, occasional freezes. Only thing going for it is the content. Even the layout and navigate to play take several steps. It is the worst of all the streaming service interfaces I use, clunky and click happy. With the amount of times this and only this app make me restart my smart tv it is garbage.

Since the last update HULU for Android tv is unusable ( had to cancel hulu + no adverts ) Only plays one episode of anything, then nothing more. Have to restart the TV and the app to watch another episode and so on... Something went really bad.. ( I reinstalled it many times, no help at all ) PC browser and Cellphone android plays fine, only HULU for Android tv went bad since the last update ( oct 22 )

How is this still in business? I am watching this app go from bad to worse. Hear us!!! There are at least 5 people who say the same thing. This is overly bloated, too slow and I have to restart my shield after every episode! And these weird selected decorations.... Who thought adding line above the link a good idea? I end up selecting the wrong item every time. Don't you guys have any UX sense?

Since most recent update, I cannot use Hulu on my TV. It only sits on profile screen with my name and 'new profile' and will not continue. I have to restart my TV to use something else. PLEASE FIX THIS!! I AM MISSING SHOWS! Also prior to this, there seems to be no way to get 5.1 Audio from this app. Now it won't work at all. I hope all of this is fixed soon or I will have to cancel my useless subscription.

This app is unusable. It is absolute garbage. I have to constantly restart it to keep it working. Reading the other reviews it appears I'm not alone. You'd think that with all of the money that Disney has they could afford to hire some software engineers who know what they're doing. It is the ONLY streaming app I have that is this unusable.

When I click on a show it loads the opening Hulu Original splash screen and then freezes and crashes my Chromecast with GoogleTv. The device then restarts. I just tried to resume an episode I had started on my Roku and it played 30 seconds of a commercial then froze and started a loud clicking noise I had to unplug my Chromecast. I've reported to support and they said they've had other reports of the same thing happening but apparently they are in no rush to fix it. Developers should be embarrassed. I guess I'll have to find other ways to watch the shows.

Absolute garbage app on Android TV (as well as XBox One AND PC). Laggy as hell, audio is never synced, stops working randomly for no apparent reason so often that I'm restarting it minimum 2-3 times a week, and too much more to fit here. Shame because Hulu's library is one of the best of any streaming service, but their app(s) are so frustratingly unusable that I'm finally done trying. Once my partner is done her current shows we'll be cancelling our account and never looking back. Unreal.
