I ordered through Google maps and my order didn't get confirmed by the restaurant for more than 20 mins so I thought there was something wrong. I drove to the restaurant hoping to pick up my order but they said they didn't even receive it. I decided to just order anyway and right after I ordered, my online order magically went through. I asked hungry panda for a refund since I already gave the restaurant my order in person and they refused to! More than 20 mins to confirm an order is ridiculous!

The app was ok got an order going, the restaurant said it was ready to collect, but after that the experience is awful , will never use them again food arrived one hour late.

horrible app, horrible service. defaults to pickup despite selecting delivery in the middle of the night. dont use it, trust me.

Horrible experience . Food showed already 1.5 hr for delivery and on top of that its already another half hour and food hasn't come. Unistalling the app. Please never use this app. if you cant deliver then dont accept the order.

Appears to deliberately fold delivery fee into total cost until after payment only shows item charges initially, so it is not obvious they're charging excessive fees. Provides inaccurate delivery time until after payment. 15 mins v 60-75 mins.

just downloaded because I've heard good things but can't get past the screen to choose language. I've clicked all options and nothing happens, even the back button doesn't work

Horrible experience. Said there was no fee to order then after I placed a $93 order, for pickup, there was a $23 fee. They also took the restaurants $10 tip. This is a SCAM. tried canceling, couldn't. Tried calling number to complain, got disconnected. Would give no stars but not an option.

This app tried to charge me $20 extra to pick my food up myself. I could see upcharging the food if it was being delivered, but to advertise no fees and then charge $5-10 more per dish on a pick up order is ridiculous.

App is absolute garbage. Won't handle orders correctly Cannot apply coupons at all. Trying to order food and the coupon function doesn't work. If you back out of the order and try to apply a coupon, it doesnt work either.

The UI looks like it's not even complete and feels like a scam. When you click on a food item the picture takes a while to load and you'd think it would have a description and maybe options but its blank and just says Add Order and shows the price. I do not feel safe using this app cause it looks way too suspicious even though restauraunts i like advertize that you can order through it.

Panda consistently has drivers refusing contactless delivery,even after the pandemic. Even if you tell their drivers you're sick and cant see them face to face, theyll only do it because the law says you have to, but will give you SO MUCH ATTITUDE. I get daily deliveries but most of the time but I'd rather use Fantuan now because at least they have this option on the app. If the drivers wont deliver contactless then they shouldnt be delivering anything for everyone's safety.

The worst app: please listen to my advice and don't install this app or if you have used it for a while please never come back. I used this app and ordered food from a restaurant (the bridge ribs in North York) but the restaurant delivered a wrong item. I talked to the customer service multiple times because they never solved the problem. I never got a (full) refund even if I never received the item. They considered the wrong item into my payment. They customer service is really bad!

AVOID! SCAM!! This app went ahead and added our business to their platform and themselves to our Google page without our consent! We now have customers calling saying they placed an order online through hungry panda and can't get their money back. I placed an order on their app (for $3) to my own business. The app claimed order was confirmed then a couple minutes later the order was canceled. They claimed the merchant contacted them and said we could not complete the order. Obviously I didn't.

Waited for 100 mins to get my order. The restaurant (2.5miles away) get the food ready in 20 mins. When I contacted the customer service afterwards, I've been told this was within normal delivery time. Finally they offer a coupon, of a ridiculously 3 dollars that have to be used in 3 days. If you want to stay hungry, you've find the correct app.

Used it for about two years. But last delivery broke my only hope for it. Waited hours for my food only to find an item was missing. Rest assured that they wouldn't give you any compensation for that, only the pitiful refund for the time you've wasted. Zero cost for making mistakes, nice! If you want to get your food delivery from this app, then be prepared for waiting for at least one hour, up to 3 hours.

I have also used this app from the resturant's side. Pick up is extremely slow and often late. There is zero privacy whatsoever. This is also the only food delivery platform that I've seen without censorship of customer information whatsoever. When you place an order, your phone number, address, full name, and notes are all fully visible to all staff. Also, their translation is poor at best with the app always asking if they "splash water."

The interface is not very user friendly. Sometimes the restaurants are closed but not reflected in the app. Even worse instead of cancelling the order processing refund autimatically I have to wait hours to find it out and contact customer service to ask for a refund. Bad experince. Also when I reduced the quantity for my item, it removed the entire item while still shows greater than 0 quantity from user's perspective. Only found out when order was received. Disappointed.

Actually really wide arrange of available stores, generous coupons as well. As a trade off to coupon I can understand delivery being on the slow side, however, their customer support is undoubtedly the worst out of all major food delivery apps. Doesn't cater to the customer, window to apply for refund is within literally minutes, ridiculously hard to navigate.

English version content is a mixture of Chinese/English, which I can deal with if the important parts are in English. Restaurant names are sometimes in Chinese only when the storefront always has the English version of the name (usa based). Besides language barriers, app is hard to navigate, the user design has a lot of bugs and functional issues, which is too many to name here. I wanted to like it because of the deals/selection, but I hope they read this and update soon. App needs lots of work.

I've been using HP for 2 years and it became my only food delivery app because it was good. I'm not sure what problem they were trying to solve with the update but it made this app unusable. First, it shows a mix of Chinese and English content with different UI patterns which was hard to navigate. Second, they force me to look for only American restaurants within a certain range and disabled browse feature. Had to uninstall. Please, get your leadership to try this app themselves!
