Only been playing for 2 days or so, but the game is a much nicer idle game than most out there right now. I do really appreciate that you can skip the details of cleaning the meat. The only downside would be the wait time to hunt. You get 3 hunts and it takes an hour for it to regenerate the number of hunts. Of course there is an item to regenerate the number instantly, but when used it only regenerates 1 out of 3 hunts.

I really like this game. I really do. I've played from the start multiple times. Except every single time without fail, it suddenly refuses to open. I've emailed the developer months ago and heard nothing back. I've kinda given up hoping at this point. If you're not too attached to your progress, this game is really fun and cute. Otherwise, I unfortunately can't recommend it.

One of my most favorite apps of all time :3 I've had it on my past 3 phones, just hoping for an update that makes the screen look better on phones with longer vertical measurements to prevent the cut-offs on the side, but the cut off is pretty minimal in of itself. All the food in this game makes me wanna eat a good delicious meal 🍜

I have started and finished this game, and third time is the charm. I am taking away a star because this time around, I have seen a couple of differences in the game that give me pause. The little bird doesn't come out as often. You're not able to get free diamonds with an ad. I am also having a hard time sharing anything to gain extra points. So frustrating. I am on level 14 but could be further if not for the glitches.

I have been playing this game for almost one year. It's amazing. If the dev is reading this, I only have two complaints that would better the experience: one, make it so we can buy 100 of something at the store PLEASE!! Two, please make it so if we have extra hunts we could just bulk add them instead of having to click - hunt - click again - hunt again.

i like this game, and i really wanna give it more stars because it's using a pretty unique concept and when there IS stuff to do, its good, theres quality to it. but; the wait time is brutal, getting resources or money for the resources takes forever even if youre making the most optimal foods (which makes you run into resource struggles anyways) these combined with the fact there's little to nothing to do during your down time it makes the game incredibly boring to progress very very quickly

The game is pretty great. It has a chill vibe with fun characters, although the dialogues are rather cheesy. The limitation of inventory is discouraging, and the fact that you cannot replenish your hunting energy point consecutively is annoying too. It would be nice to have the option to replenish max, or at least don't force the user back to the main screen after every single replenish.

The hunting point system is dreadful. You only get 1 hunting point per hour, and they only stack up to 3. So if you're working, sleeping, etc, you'll miss several hunts. And, you don't get the hunting point back if you fail to find the animal. And as an ND person, I really struggle with the full hunt mini-game. My brain just can't assimilate the diagonal lane movement with horizontal left and right buttons. The secret mini-game at the title screen is actually better.

It surprisingly revolves around a lot of luck; animal encounters, the set-up of hunting courses, and the ingredients you get. I wish we had the option to choose which ingredients we receive from Lil Veggie, because most of the time, I end up getting 99 of the same ingredients I traded away. The game also becomes more reliant on gems the further you progress. You'll want to expand pantry and cooking space to hold more ingredients, which costs gems. It's a good game, but can be a little greedy.

Free, cute, entertaining, what's not to love? Most games like this nearly require at least a few purchases, whether it's to progress or to remove intrusive ads, but Hunt Cook is perfectly playable without spending a dime. Diamonds are easily attained with casual play which makes this game truly free. All ads can be closed nearly instantly or have to be actively initiated. Since it's release, this has been the first game installed on any phone of mine, which proves its infinite replay value. <3

The game is very charming and I really love the fact that the developers put in the idea of always using every part of the animal, that's something I've always believed this important if you have to hunt. My only issue is that I'm getting wheat from the Duck level even though you're supposed to get cabbage and stuff like that. I haven't been able to find cabbage free and I'm not at the level to get it at the supermarket yet so that's a bit annoying.

This game is very fun and charming. However I noticed that Boss' sleeping timer would sometimes not move, and I would have to change screens to fix it. It's not game breaking but mildly annoying. Also I wish that you could see what ingredients you need for Recipes in your cookbook or something. It only shows you in the recipe shop before you buy it or when you're picking something to cook, however there's times I want to see what ingredients I need to prepare but my stations are full

Very cute and simple game. It's the type of game that you pick up a few times a day for a minute or two. I adore the style! My only complaint is the storage space. In order to progress, you need to expand your storage a couple times. It costs a large amount of diamonds that you could not otherwise aquire without watching ads or paying money. In a way it's stuck behind a pay wall to progress, which really sucks because this game is adorable.

This game has been on my phone since I was in High School. I'm still playing and I absolutely love it. There's no rush, and the cook times are real times. It's nice, a little educational, and relaxing. Edit: I do have a suggestion! Maybe you can add another trapping area that you can buy, but it lets you trap certain fish! Then maybe have them move to another area and do game dishes there with the wild game that's available. I don't know but it's an idea! :D

I really enjoy playing the game, but whenever I try to tap the little bird and watch an ad for gems, or watch an ad to finish a dish.... Nothing happens. The music pauses and then the game keeps going. This has stopped me from completing achievements and progressing in the game. I'm on a Verizon Note 8. Shame.

I would've given this game a 5 star if they hadn't gotten rid of the ability to watch an ad for a diamond or a bit of energy. It kinda was a poor decision bc if u calculate how much time I spend on the app before opposed to after the change, I view way less ads (which is less money for them) and don't stay on the app long enough to show me an equal amount to what I was before. It was a poor decision for the creators of the game and for the playability of the player. I love this game otherwise

I have loved this game until I got a new phone in 2021. I thought it had gotten lost to modernization. Imagine my surprise when I saw it was updated and downloadable! I didn't mind starting over, I really enjoy this game as a whole. It doesn't take up too much of your time, the music is cute, the art is cute, you get to chase wild game! The ads are placed strategically to progress rather than as an annoyance and I don't feel pressured to make a purchase. Customization might be the only lack

The hunting part is fun. I'm on level 4 and I've picked the "full" option of hunting, which gives you more meat if successful. So far I've easily beaten the minigame! Cute whimsical graphics, and the cooking time varies for each recipe, so it doesn't feel like a total grinding game. I would give it 5 stars if I can buy the limited-time rookie bonus special which removes ads and gives gemsl, but the game keeps saying "check your connection" and doesn't let me buy it.

I really like this game! I've had it for about 6 years. There's no pressure to keep coming back—it's always just there waiting for you to pick up where you left off no matter how long you leave it, which I greatly appreciate. The gameplay and recipes are charming and creative. Simple yet diverse range of activities so you don't really get bored doing one thing. I only ask that the game continues to be updated with new hunts and recipes! I highly recommend this.

Cute, fun, and relaxing game. The ads were annoying, but I used the Google Play points to pay to get rid of them. You can always play with the internet off to get rid of ads, too. I've been playing this game on and off for years. I'm still working on the final challenge after restarting with a new phone.
