Great App, very helpful. My only complaint is that, in today's Morning Prayer, they failed to capitalize He, Him, and His when referring to the Lord. The words were used numerous times, always in the lower case. When referring to the one, triune God, pronouns should be capitalized, as a sign of respect, the way they have been in the past. I hope this will be corrected soon.

I like this app a lot. It does what it needs. I just wish it had an option to listen to the liturgy of the hours. When I am in a rush I could be making breakfast or doing other chores and listening. That would be SUPER helpful. I would also love to see the music for id you wanted to sing them.

Thank you for the hard work done on this app. Works great. Sometimes there are difficulties, such as having different sets if prayers for iphone abd android, but over all it's good. I appreciate the different languages. What would make this app perfect is if it had a search feature for the prayers one is looking for.

It crashes whenever I try to change the language, so since I normally pray in Latin, if I want to pray with my wife I have to reinstall. It also has some issues with texts and switching between propers. But, it's the best free breviary I can find, even if it isn't good on a technical level.

A recent update appears to have caused the app to persistently delete a whole week's worth of texts. The app also will not work offline. They have truly ruined it. I never thought I would dump this one great app, but I'm deleting it today. Update: It's still broken. I erroneously thought it was fixed.

Sometimes days are incomplete, for example last week's Easter Vigil readings had no Gospel reading. The amount of in-app notifications keeps climbing and sometimes even duplicating themselves and is kind of annoying. Especially when they still pop up every single day like they're "new" even when I'm already subscribed to the newsletter and have even donated. Certain seasonal notifications never go away unless you uninstall & reinstall.

Continually buggy. No optional texts accessible for my Android (Pixel3). No offline usage unlike before. In general, frustrating. I would gladly pay if updates were regular and criticisms were addressed or replied to somewhat regularly. I have never received a response during the time I have been using this app. W/o offline access, I think I will have to ditch it.

I like to use the app for Liturgy of the Hours! I have the app also on my iPhone and i must say this is a much less rounded delivery. Text does not remain in the margins while increasing font size and there are no options for read mode as with IPhone. Also i am not able to screen rotate. Hopefully you will offer the same options and attention to android versions.

...the newest version has some flaws that should have been fixed by now, considering how many people have the same complaints. First, if you minimize the app, or if your phone goes to sleep while you're meditating on a reading, you end up back at the beginning of the screen and have lost your place. Second, the time at downloading new texts should be based on the user's time zone. This is especially an issue for me on Saturday evening. But then, Evening Prayer I really should download with Sunday, anyway...

This is a great app for quick access to the liturgy of the hours. One problem I've encountered though is that my app stays on the same day unless I delete and redownload it i.e. It's been saying that the date is Monday, August 17th for the past 3 days. I hope this is able to be fixed so I don't have to keep redownloading it because that's a hassle.

Excellent app! It has all the offices for the day and it'll even let you download up to a week in advanced. Not bad for a free app! The only thing i don't like is the layout for the daytime hours. It gets a little confusing. This is a great digital breviary, however, i find the Universalis app better, though Universalis costs $12.99, so there's that. Overall, 100% recommended, especially if you're a beginner in the Liturgy of the hours.

This app WOULD be very good if it worked. The several languages it offers makes it potentially very useful. But iBreviary is USELESS without an internet connection. Though you can download all the readings for the week, it constantly crashes or does not display the correct language, or displays "Sorry, this reading is empty." Worse, this problem has been ongoing for ten years and has never been fixed. Please add an option to download ALL prayers and readings, and basta.

This is by far the best app I have found for praying the liturgy of the hours. It is very simple and straightforward to use, and uses the correct official translation. I wish it included musical notation for the hymns, but I imagine that would be harder to insert. It contains options for the propers for various orders (9 of them.) One thing I would really like to see added is the Carmelite proper.

Great app when it works. Constantly crashes with red message "back to the home screen". In addition, app will not work offline. this is an issue because often, I like to take it to prayer or adoration where internet is not availible. When the app does.work, it is wonderful and very useful. if the bugs can be worked out and if it can work offline, it would be one of the best breviary apps out there

This app is great for conveniently providing all the Liturgy of the Hours and Mass readings in one convenient spot, plus prayers and other useful Catholic items. It automatically updates to today's date, or you can download manually. Having the office of readings on my phone is so much lighter than carrying around a huge book. There are plenty of language options, too. Every once in a while there is a glitch and the readings won't show, for example. But mostly it works great.

The app is great. But for the past several weeks it only gives a screen with the message "We're sorry, an error occured and the app stopped" and a red back to home button, which just reloads the error screen. *Update: clearing the app cache fixes this problem. Wish it didn't happen at all, but at least it's back up and running. Until next time.

I have used this app for years, and it is definitely my favorite of the available options. I really like that it includes the propers for optional memorials and commemorations. Lately (past few weeks), I've been having trouble with the app resetting to thinking that the current day isn't loaded whenever I switch to another app or sometimes even if I let the screen time out. It's rather annoying, as I then have to go through the menus and scroll through to find my place again.

I've been using this app for years on android. Unlike my wife's iPhone it often won't let me select the optional vigil. This is annoying but the reason I'm giving it one star is that it stopped working altogether after my carrier upgraded my phone to android 10. I get the same can't connect to the internet as other users are reporting. If you fix both issues the app deserves 5 stars.

Simple, accessable, and has a vast amount of extra prayers and blessings. It also has the propers of various Orders, which is great for those in Tertiaries. It had a problem with not changing dates, but has either been fixed by the devs, or by me auto downloading the week. A "Learn the LOTH" section to help those who struggle with learning to recite from the 4 Vol set would be awesome.

Recently the hyperlinks within the apps are not working properly. For example, in daytime prayer, when I click on the hyperlink that says "Go to Reading and Conclusion", it just brings me to the complementary psalmody. This results in a lot of unnecessary scrolling. Otherwise this app is wonderful for my prayer life.
