Easy to use. Great variety. Seamless performance with great sound. Whether pairing with earbuds, headphones, or bluetooth sound systems. I love the fact that I can listen to my favorite radio stations in the Tri-state area while being 3,000 miles away. New York stations are the best in the country! So if you're far from home, don't be homesick. Go find your favorite station on the IHeart Music app and groove your blues away.

The app bombards you with ads now. An ad plays on open, when you go to a podcast or station page, when you start or refresh an episode, and ads flash across the station or channel art every 5 seconds. When a video ad plays it does not pause what you were listening to and locks the controls so you have to skip back every time to hear what you missed. On top of that it locks you out completely if you don't have service, meaning anything you downloaded to listen to is completely unavailable.

2018 - Great variety and very broad choice of artist and music! Just absolutely love it! Part of the everyday, on the go or just down time. Thank you for an excellent app! 1/8/22, Sat. - Thank you iHeart for the music! Still lovin' it! Haven't had any problems and I don't get as many ads as what other users had mentioned.. like just now, I've been listening for over an hour and I haven't heard a single one. I just play it and leave it. Now I can enjoy it through my new Samsung Galaxy Watch4!

Glitchy in the car not in the house. I listen to 100.3 WHEB with no issues, but if I try to listen to 98.5 The Sports Hub Boston, I can't hear anything. I can switch back to WHEB with no issue. However when I'm listening to Pandora, 98.5 comes through in the background. I have to restart my phone to make it go away. I've reinstalled & that does nothing. Annoying!

Used to use it all the time. Now it cares more about commercials than anything. Right in the middle of a playoff game will do 10 minutes of commercials. Absolutely insane. Other than that, it works well Update: I finally downloaded Sirius, I can't handle nonstop commercials for my hockey. There is NO WAY for me to see it out here. To miss Stanley Cup games to ads is ridiculous. Deleted the app

This app is so bad that it defies comprehension. Used on several devices, it won't load a list of already downloaded podcasts several times a day every day, with just a perpetually spinning buffer wheel. While online, won't list downloaded podcasts and gives an error message saying "you are offline." Daily, it stops playing and buffers endlessly between downloaded episodes of the same podcast unless you stop it, switch to airplane mode and restart. This is garbage, UNBELIEVABLY poor design.

I have been using this app for about 2 1/2 years. I have had so much trouble trying to enter the keyword to win 1,000. I have called technical support 2 or 3 times. And there is nothing that can fix it. And entering contest I have problems also. This app has way too many technical problems. And the website also. So what's the point of having contest if people can't enter contest because you're app doesn't work.

listening selection is great. But that being said. That is probably only thing good about the app. So iHeart plays a bunch of ads then some of the shows that I listen to also play ads. Which means about 70% of my listening is ads. That is ridiculous. If a station or podcast has ads then iHeartRadio should not add any additional ads. They should be getting their revenue from the people who are ads are on the podcast or station that they're a part of.

It's turned to absolute garbage. You can have full service, and it will still struggle sometimes. The price increases with the cutting of services is getting to be too much. And now you apparently can skip too fast through your play. List, and it disables. Even though it hasn't played the whole list. This this is turning into absolute garbage.

Used to be my go-to music app, but the nonstop ads are so intrusive now it's completely unbearable and renders the app unusable. Not only that, but the ads play at a much HIGHER VOLUME and I'll be listening at work at a comfortable level just for it to burst out loud for an ad; Get used to your volume buttons, you'll be using them almost constantly.

its ok, it doesn't keep all my liked or disliked songs all the time and it can kinda vear way off from the genre you pick but it is an ok app, my favorite part of this app though is if you get in a low service area it will either stop the song or just never play the next song but it makes damn sure to pop up multiple ads the whole time that work flawlessly!

I downloaded this as a podcast app because that's what it was sold as on podcasts that I listen to. I'm very disappointed to find that the podcast portion of the app feels slapped on. The speed options are limited. It puts new podcasts at the top of the queue so you listen to the most recent podcast by default. The UI is hard to navigate and I had to look on the Internet what different symbols mean. Overall a bad experience. I've tried it for a couple of weeks and will be moving on

I like it overall, but I have some issues. First, it really needs a feature to let you sort your playlists. I would like to be able to sort by artist so I can find stuff easier. Second, the volume across songs and ads is not consistent. One song could be too quiet, while the next is a lot louder, and the ads are also the same way. Third, when I'm scrolling through my playlist, it will randomly send me back to the top. Other than these issues, it's a decent app.

I use the free edition and have done so for years. It satisfied my listening requirements with very little hassle. There are times when I let it go and it gets way off the genres of my musical tastes but that is far and few between. Very happy with it's unobtrusive nature user friendly interface. Also ... and this means a lot to me, it plays the version of songs I expect to hear. Not, some rare live version or cover by someone else. 1st rate official releases by the artists I have come to hear.

Until about a month ago, everything worked flawlessly. However, recently, it keeps stopping/buffering. This is the same no matter if I am at home on my personal and secure wifi, while traveling, walking, hotel rooms, etc. This applies to music and podcast playing. Once it stops, it buffers for almost a minute before picking up about a minute prior to when it stopped. I've tried deleting the app and re-installing, but i get the same results. Very disappointing.

iHeartRadio is a wonderful app, it's not my main go to for regular music. I use iHeart for podcasts. I've started using iHeart around December listening on the way to work in the mornings and it would play great for about 10 to 15 minutes then it would just shut off. I have to go into the app and start the podcast again. I've cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted my phone and since I'm on cellular data I've restarted my service. Still all the same issue

I love to be able to listen to my local radio station on the app. But the app often diverts to you music not being played by your chosen station, and then you miss a section of more talk based morning show. They also play super long ads when you sign in that you can not skip through. I continue to use the app only because there is not another mobile web option for listening to my desired station.

This app SUCKS!! The songs on my playlists have been playing too fast for Months now. It's ridiculous! I literally use YT.. with ADS.. just to hear a favorite song Normally! And, what makes it even worse, many others have posted about this very same issue, YET, they STILL only have help to adjust "Podcast" speed, which does Nothing for your Music!! SMDH.. I'm DONE. I'm cancelling my subscription ASAP. Enough is Enough. Spotify here I come...

I have been listening to your free version for years, and love the wide variety of music -- classical, rock, and jazz, as well as actual live radio stations. Stations such as WLS Chicago are even better with the full programming with the actual local commercials versus national advertising. This gives me the opportunity to experience the local market from a great distance -- and even purchase products from these businesses remotely. Please keep this programming going!

Generally like it. But it always takes a long time to start up and then the ads tend to vary in length- I have had to sit through up to a minute and some change of them many a time, then even more buffering, and usually end up missing whatever I was trying to tune into (a radio keyword for ex) even after starting it several minutes early. Also very annoying to have to sit through even MORE ads every time I change a station, even if it's less than 10 minutes from one station to the next.
