Would not recommend this system for anyone. The switches need a battery reset every once in a month. The dirigera connection insgructions to the app are wrong or missing. It's just not working all the time. Needs a lot of care to make it work. Invest rather in Philips hue. Hue always works and never fails.

Moved from the Tradfri to Dirigera. The system is easier but hasn't progressed. Sill disappointed in the lack of settings to make the system "smarter" rather than just a lightbulb and remote control. 1: More triggers, delays and steps in a scene needed. 2: Lighting effects like candle flicker, light shows, adaptive lighting and fading on/down. 3: Temp/Humidity sensors to trigger scenes. 4: Sunrise Sunset 3hr delay an option missing from Tradfri! So slow to add and fix issues.

Good when it works. The connection to the hub is inconsistent. Also it would be nice to know when the battery is low so you can change the battery before it's empty. Currently I don't know if it's having trouble connecting to the hub or the battery has died. Items to improve for more stars, reliable connection to products in my house would gain 1 star. Notifications for low battery would gain another. The final star would be the ability to automatically broadcast a message at home.

Would be good if the VALLHORN sensor configuration respected the dark/light (lux) mode setting rather than having to configure time settings. Make this possible! Also, the SYMFONISK sound remote gen2 shortcut buttons in the TRADFRI allowed me to control scenes, but in DIRIGERA this is no longer possible, please make that possible. Would rate higher if these changes are made.

Very bad in multiple ways. UI is very cluttered and not intuitive at all. Pairing new light bulbs takes ages. And I can't use a remote like I could with the old app. Kind of dumb. For the Dirigera hub, I can't enable the location services so I can utilize sun down and rise. All in all an incredibly bad app and hub. Seriously considering switching over to something else. Edit: location is enabled, and the app is allowed to make use of it. When tapping the toggle nothing happens. No error message

It's ok but not great. I have six high windows with remote control blinds. I can open and close them individually or close them as a group but I can't open them all as a group. Why not? I can close them to a preferred length by interrupting the movement from my phone but then I have to get a ladder to press a button on the blind itself to remember it. Why can't I do it from the app?

This was my first experience with IKEA's smart home products. A major disappointment. I cannot get this to integrate with Google Home whatsoever. Just keep getting a blank screen. It's useless to me. Wasted hours trying to get it to work. I'll be taking back all my "smart home" purchases for a refund. You keep posting on the forum that the problem is at Google's end. Last time I checked, the only app that I'm having problems with is the IKEA app. It's hard to see how that is Google's problem.

The App connectd and functions with Dirigera hub and sensors, but I Can Not find a way to remove an empty room that was added in error using the app. I can rearrange the rooms, but can't delete them or change the color of the room widget once added. These should be fundamental functions to manage the existing rooms. EDIT: I was able to make the Edit menu appear after clearing the data of the app and reconfigure. Issue solved 5 Stars - Suggestion : add a way to add the hub to one of the rooms.

I bought 42 fyrtur blinds and added 22 so far in Dirigera. Sunset/sunrise scenes worked fine with 16 blinds, but after adding 6 more blinds the system glitched. "roll up" scenes get converted always to "roll down", up/down arrow icons dont match up/down text. I no longer have the ability to roll up the blinds in the morning. I still can roll the windows down at night, hence 3 star rating :)

Just Bad user experience and functionality. Could not add to Google home and had to manually install an older apk. Then everything breaks all the time. Devices don't behave as intended. Some motion sensors switch groups on but individual devices off while leaving the others on. Others don't get switched on at all. Hardly any routines possible. Scenes created in the app are not available to Google home. Best would be to ditch everything and directly pair laps to remotes and don't use the app

Constantly frustrating. Every time I open the app, I know get a "hub has lost connection to app" error and have to re-add my hub EVERY TIME. I also have to verify my email to get the integrations working every time too. I had the old hub which was solid, but this one is troublesome. Can no longer see firmware updates and status in one spot. Also, made my smart blinds lose their full closed spots and won't full open either. I now have to reset my blinds every few weeks to keep the correct lengths

Finally got this to connect to the hub. Had tried multiple Android devices and none had worked, but curiously my wife's iPhone connected fine. I had done all the advised steps; factory resets, using the new Ikea App, trying on another network router. The final step that fixed it was restarting my phone and then loading the Ikea Home Smart App immediately. They really need to do more testing to make the app more robust and at the very least detect some of these potential points of failure.

There are a couple of issues with the app as it stands today 12/6/22. Scenes do not always work, especially those using sunrise/sunset as a trigger mechanism. It's inability to use geofencing is limiting, requiring another platform that makes using scenes/routines a choppy process. Also, it is still a closed ecosystem, unable to work with non-Ikea branded products. Update: They reached out to me asking what is not working. All I can say is scenes using sunrise/sunset do not ALWAYS run.

EDIT: this is 100% an issue with the Android app. The iOS app was able to detect the hub. ORIGINAL: It can't find the hub. Hilariously, the old app can tell a Dirigera hub is around because it tells me it detected a Dirigera hub and to use this app instead which doesn't detect it. I've tried rebooting factory resetting, etc. Really poorly supported app and hub, couldn't find any troubleshooting for this issue. I tried this on two different Android devices as well (S22 and pixel 5).

Frustrated with this APP. Had our system of 2 rooms, 3 blinds each all connected to hub and app, also connected to Google Assistant. All working great. We change nothing. 1 of the blinds in each group has dropped out, and the app no longer finds the hub. If I do a factory re-set, I'm starting everythign over. What a pain. wish this stuff worked consistently! Got the system working again by resetting the hub and going through the connection process and linking to google with all the blinds agai

I noticed that after a new Tradfri lamp was installed, the integration with Alexa was not working anymore. After a bit of checking I saw that the Integrations on the hub were disabled. To get them enabled again I have to verify my email; but exactly that part is not working. I'm getting every time a very helpful error message "Oops, something went wrong." I have tried to reset the Dirigera hub, reinstall the app on phone and tablet. Nothing helped, the bloody error message remains.

Easy, simple,... But maybe too simple? Before I combined my smart blinds into one room I was able to see the battery status on each. Now I cannot since they are grouped together. An option in the menu to see individual items connected to the hub would be great. I haven't gone through a charge cycle yet on the blinds battery but I'm hoping that the app lets you know the batteries are getting low.

Lights and remotes are constantly desyncing. A decade into this product and there is still no way to reconnect a light. When it desyncs, you must remove it, re-add it, and re- relate any custom schedules for the product. It is in every way more effort than just getting up to use the light switch. I would not recommend any Ikea smart products, to any person, for any reason.

Doesn't let me install the hub. Instead, I get an error message that the hub is not downloading the latest software update and to reset the hub. Even after I reset it, I keep getting the same error message. UPDATE (4/5): I installed the app on my iPad and was able to connect to the hub. However, the app on my Android Google Pixel can't find the hub.

App works great. The hardware / Software controllers not so much. I left a review before with an inconsistency on the Google Home setup, that seems to be resolved. But the main issue now is that 1) my Tradfri remotes disconnect randomly and need a power cycle to sync 2) one (random) lamp in a cluster randomly turns on by itself and that's very inconvenient at night in the bedroom.
