I've had this app on my phone for probably six months. Every couple of months I'll open it and try to see what it's about but the setup process is so long that I lose interest and close the app. Then the next time I open it the app doesn't remember where I left off and starts the whole setup process over again from scratch. I get bored again and close the app. Rinse and repeat. Glad I didn't use now after reading about all the people that lost a hundred bucks on this app after the trial period.

Dont waste your time on the trial. Courses are very basic and elementary. I went through the trial and forgot it was only 3 days instead of 7. They charged me $100 for an annual subscription (with no reminder) and are not responding to my emails. I took a huge loss on this and wouldn't pay for it even if I had the money to spare. Customer service is nonexistent.

Not a bad learning app for economics and investing, but making you pay 100$ up front for a year? That is far too excessive. Especially when there are so many free online materials and courses on these topics. You have no idea how you'll feel about this app in a few months, several months, much less a year. Forcing people to pay for a year's subscription is a big ask.

So far I love this app. As a nurse and avid learner, I'm always looking for easier ways to obtain new and interesting information and my neurospicy brain (ADHD/Anxiety) loves the way this app presents it. I just started using it so I'll try to remember to come back and update later. Today is 3/8/25. FYI: I forgot about the trial ending and was surprised at the $99 charge for the year, but only because I forgot. I'm afraid that if I had remembered I most likely would have canceled.

Beware of using their free trial. I was unable to cancel it through the app. I reached out to the Support team, and they said they would cancel it. I was shocked to find out that I was still charged for the full yearly subscription once the free trial expired. The Imprint team was unable to give me a refund, so I had to request a refund through Google Play. I was refunded the full amount, but wow, what a hassle.

After inputting personal information it took me to another page and asked the same questions. Data grab. I signed up for a 7-day trial, which you can cancel at any time before the 7 days. I tried the app for 3 days and saw it wasn't robust enough for me. I cancelled through Google Play/Manage Subscriptions and received a confirmation of cancellation. What a surprise and shock to see $62.49 come out of my account on the 7th day. They have not refunded my money. I sent the confirmation. AVOID!!!!!

I accidentally left the auto renewal on and close to 90 dollars flew off my card which is just amazing. the app itself is great but the way the second you make a payment you cannot get it back is just hilarious. I did not make a payment a week ago or something that far in time. it was literally a couple of days ago (I issued various refunds the day(s) after) but apparently none of those are available even though I used the app only 3 days during the free trial. completely let down, 0/5

This app is incredible. Instead of having to read an entire book or chapters to get the jist of an idea it's small digestible bits that I can easily do on break at work. The topics are very interesting and it's very engaging. The world needs more apps that let you learn scientifically backed ideas without having to read an entire book or research study. I'm not a rich person but I worked extra just to be able to afford this app for the year. Seriously, great stuff.

While the app has been somewhat useful throughout my first "7 free days", I lament when apps lead you to believe you'll be auto enrolled into a monthly subscription and then automatically charge you a full year subscription. It's my own fault for not reading the fine print but the advertising made you think it would auto enroll as a monthly subscription. I'll take my year and be done. Ridiculous.

It's a good concept with good psychology behind it. However, I bounced around the app answering many questions (to which I'm not opposed). After landing on an exercise based on my answers, I felt like I was being talked to like a toddler. I felt no psychological benefit or possibility of such. The app did not seem intuitive. making it completely antithetical to it's purpose.

I'm obsessed. I've fully replaced doom scrolling with micro learning and I've never been happier. The summarized books with visual aids are amazing, lots of good, popular titles and authors as well. I love the daily quick reads and I love the lengthier courses. I've subscribed and will continue to. Thanks!

Don't. Subscription does not appear on subscription list to easily cancel. All emails went to primary inbox EXCEPT the email at the 5 day mark to not continue after the free trial, which went to promotions instead. Deceptive, and not worth $99 in any way. Any app that has to lean on strategies to hinder wanting out don't make a good enough product to stand on its own.

I was doing the Essential Philosophy course, which - a few factual errors notwithstanding - has been great. But I started the course on a free trial, and it's annoying that I can't complete the course without paying £50 for an annual subscription - I can't even get a one-time monthly subscription! I would appreciate a monthly payment option.

VVVEERRYYY Limited and disappointing ! let me choosethings to learn, not app! There no search bar to learn what you prefer!when you're paying for it and that would be the ideal thing for such an app and just came up with that on my own! Just by using this app for 3 minutes I've canceled the subscription that was free for 7 days it is that worthless! IF add search bar and let me type what I want to be taught about and would mos definitely a top-notch until otherwise a big flop! gave my hopes up

Should be able to turn off the "Gamification". I really like the content, but after ever chapter it forces you to watch visual indicators of streaks and how far you are from reaching rewards. I think most people are looking to apps like this as a way away from social media and constant rewarding. I just want to read the chapters and not have half my time watching an animation about how much more I need to read to get some trophy that no one wants or cares about. I wish it could be disabled.

this app is WONDERFUL. I've been using it for almost a year. I complete at least one section each day. The courses are interesting and informative. BUT this app has incorrectly dropped my streak TWICE and that is super annoying. UPDATE: I understand that you can't reinstate my streak but today my streak broke WHILE I WAS USING IT. I checked your IG, last post was almost a year ago. $100 subscription, too. I guess your philosophy is take the 💰 & 🏃♂️

A trial user here. I like the concept a LOT and I would definitely pay for a reasonably priced version. But currently, it's just not worth the subscription fee. There is no clear structure to it, no easy way through your courses. The bonus animation at the end is silly and annoying.

Seems mostly cool so far, but the graphics cut off the words on some of the slides and there are no in-app options for resizing the font. There is also a lack of customer support built into the app. I'm not entirely bothered by the subscription thing as that is what just about every single app does nowadays and it does have a notification 2 days before it will bill in case you need to cancel. I just don't like that settings and app functionality is so bare bones. Fix it and I might stay.

imprint is a daily practice for me, the lessons are interactive, it's very easy to use, and also fun. Ever since I started using this app, I've learned new life skills, philosophy, and some coping skills for my anxiety. there's so much useful information imprint has to offer, what I like is that you can pick the subjects you'd like to learn about, it creates an interactive set of lessons based on your interests, personalizing your experience. I def encourage others to try out.

I think this app is great for quick, visually pleasing microlearning, one of the best IMO, since trying others. It's worth the paid version, but I recall the free being efficient to dip in :). Suggestions: streak freezes, its very discouraging to miss a day and start from 0, maybe streak freezes can be rewards? #2 The home page shows many lessons I've already done, I see there's more, but it feels like a barrier or I'm nearly done with the app so perhaps its time to cancel the subscription.
