I haven't been using the app long enough to see the benefits it promises. I'll update my rating later. However one very frustrating aspect is they completely break Android's back button. When viewing a tip or the main screen, the OS back button is ignored and does nothing. What I'd expect is the back button from the tip screen to take me back to the main screen, and the back button on the main screen to exit the app. This would be consistent with virtually every other Android app I've ever used.

This app is wonderful! I would recommend it for any couple-whether they have kids already or are still building their family. It is designed to help couples/families build stronger bonds and live happier lives. From a user perspective, it gives you and your partner actionable steps to build or maintain strong, positive relationships-as a couple and as parents. Clearly, a significant amount of scientific research was used when creating the lessons in this app. The lessons are fantastic - each lesson includes a short video that presents the data in an easy-to-understand fashion, followed by a few quick multiple choice questions that helps reinforce the lesson itself. There are also additional exercise that you are insightful and very interesting. The app itself is very user friendly. The lessons and the accompanying videos are clearly identified and easy to access. The app also includes a helpful "emotion list", FAQ with supporting links, a video overview of the program itself, along with chat/email links if you wish to contact support. As far as relationship app go, this particular one is really well done! Looking forward to sharing it with my partner as well!

The app itself is smooth, easy to navigate, and doesn't fill up my life with extra noise. The content has been incredibly useful and informative, without being lecturing or taking up much time. From the first lesson I gained life impacting information in a two minute video that has changed and helped the way I manage my family relationships. Highly recommend!

It was a short and sweet lesson that was made easy to understand. Going into it, I wasn't sure what to expect.some things I did already but found out deeper and more meaningful way to communicate with my loved ones. Just keep in mind practice is key. No annoying ads, app worked seemless, no more than maybe one reminder a day when I wasn't finished with the lesson, it was amazing to have the transcript option for videos being that I did most of my lessons at night when everyone was sleeping.

I'm really enjoying the content. I also appreciate that the videos have transcripts for those moments when I can't listen in. A lot of it is a good refresher, but very useful tools. I even enjoy the short quizzes to check my comprehension, as well as the self reflection activities. So enjoyable, I tend to do more lessons than I plan to when I start each day.

Great research-based information in every lesson. I love how it does not pressure users to complete with unnecessary reminders, but rather takes you back to previous lessons to review and gives you time to put into practice. I wish it had more real-life situation videos, such as the one for naming emotions, so users may have a better idea on how to apply acquired knowledge from these lessons. Overall, a great idea to turn these lessons into a user friendly, and navigable app.

I was skeptical at first that there could be an app just giving good advice. No ads. No gimmicks. To be honest in the back of my mind I am still in anticipation of some product. But until then the advice is solid, clearly explained, and spot on in my life. The presentation is good for me. I only do about 5 minutes a day. It can scale up from there if you prefer to learn faster. On the technical side the app is quite easy to use: lessons organized into videos, quizzes and sometimes printable pgs.

I hope therapists don't go out of business because of this app. It gives good information in short, concise vignettes. It is definitely helping me recognize problem areas in relationships, but more than that it gives good tips for positive things you can do to try to turn things a different direction. The only drawback I found, is that sometimes the narrator is a bit patronizing in her tone... "You don't want THAT, do you?" which takes away a bit from the content which is practical and effective

Phenomenal resource for building interpersonal relations. Concepts are concisely broken down into sections that can be completed at your own pace, with short and simple follow up quizzes that reinforce each lesson. You must complete the lesson before moving to the next, which is actually a good thing... I wanted to skip ahead to a different section but it said I needed to finish the one I was currently on before moving to the next... If I was able to skip around, my knowledge would be incomplete

We have two little ones, two years apart in age, our oldest is pretty sensitive to any changes. When any changes occur, or pandemics, or wildfires (Oregon), his emotions escalate quickly into aggressive like behavior. This has been a great reminder of ways to be with him and our daughter and each other. Thank you so much for the incredible thoughtful app!!

Better than expected! I'm not really sure what I expected anyway, mostly an app to help communication between family members. This app however has been beneficial for everyone in my family and even friends. I recommend to literally anyone, whether or not you have interpersonal issues or even kids. It makes you think and solve issues you might not even be aware of. Very positive and quick, effective lessons.

Fantastic content for developing the single most important skill for success: emotional intelligence. Well designed, smooth, & relatively concise. So grateful this resource is available & accessible for partners/parents. Content builds, so no skipping around. Has videos & low-key quizzes, useful tips & free cheatsheets(can easily save to Google drive)! I do wish reading was an option instead of videos (depending on the day/time). Well done & WELL worth your time!!!

Being a parent or a partner can sometimes be humbling because you realize that wanting to be a good parent or partner doesn't make it so. I get to being emotionally and intellectually thirsty to learn any little thing to be better. This free app keeps on delivering insights using simple language and concepts. Sometimes it builds me up to understand what I've been doing right, and other times it excites me to think that small changes to my perception, or reactions can make a positive difference

I've had this app for just a month or two and didn't start really using it until last week. I downloaded it out of desperation when my family was in limbo between leaving one family counselor (couples, self, and play) and finding a new one. By the second day of trying to better myself for my family, watching the short clips, and engaging with the app, I was blown away at how much I learned in such short time.

The principles and skills taught in this app have application in any relationship, because we all have human brains. Still, it's excellently tailored to the target audience. The push notifications are oddly not annoying, but a good blend of invitation and reminder. Videos are short and the concepts are structured in an engaging way. Thumbs up team!

EYE OPENING First of all, the app is FREE! The format is great because it's REALLY EASY to use, not overwhelming, and the lessons are short. You can watch a lesson while waiting for a cab or your own time. I thought I knew things about relationships from a psychological standpoint so I hesitant but then BOOM! I was able to learn deep new concepts & apply them right away. There's even little surveys to test your knowledge & if you're wrong, it explains why in a very short manner.

This info is so important and useful, doesn't matter if you have kids or a significant other or not. Everyone has loved ones. It is clearly and thoughtfully presented, addresses concerns, clears up confusions, and reassures me as I'm listening. It is based on correct scientific evidence and is immediately helpful. Everyone can benefit from it. Sometimes it has recorded that I've completed a section when I haven't actually watched the last video yet. Otherwise very smooth experience.

I've learned so much already and almost look forward to opportunities to try the teaching, rather than dreading hard moments. Helpful, concise teaching videos relate the concepts in an easily understood way. Questions reinforce the teaching and it's all reviewed at the end. Teaching is positive, encouraging, supportive and not critical. Much of it is not new, but more manageable here. There are new ideas, great pointers for applying learning and even printable aids. And it's really free, wow!

Very good information that's backed by science!! My girlfriend of 13 years (and two kids together) has recently moved out of our house so we both had time to work on ourselves. Unfortunately, we found that counseling was very expensive especially now that our monthly household incomes had been split in half. We found this app to be a great alternative and it's FREE!! We are learning basic to advanced ways to build a lasting relationship with each other and our kids. Very nice!!!

The short videos and scenarios were really helpful and well laid out. I appreciate that if I've got 5 minutes, I can quickly pop in and do a section or two. Everything presented is very logical and makes sense when you see it. A reminder that not all problems need you to fix them right away is also helpful... Overall, good app and good information.
