More About inKind

The inKind App takes the difficulty out of tracking credit spending and ensures that you get VIP treatment at your favorite local business. Within the app, you can check, redeem, and share credit on your VIP House Accounts bought from one of inKind's partner restaurants, bars, and other businesses.
CHECK CREDIT BALANCE
See how much credit you have to use in your favorite business. Will it be a champagne popping night or will the happy hour menu be your new best friend?

REDEEM CREDIT
Leave your wallet at home and complete all your credit transactions on the inKind App. Your credit card can be linked to allow you to tip your server/bartender when they do an awesome job looking after you.

SHARE CREDIT
Treat your friends, family or a hard-working employee by sharing some of your credit with them. They will receive an email notification and can head straight into your business and enjoy the credit you have given them.

EXPLORE RESTAURANTS AROUND YOU
Use the map to browse venues in your area, or in cities you're traveling too across the country.

GIVE FEEDBACK
Sometimes a restaurant tries something new and misses the mark, or hires someone that maybe isn’t the best fit. Provide private feedback that will help them get better, without destroying their Yelp rating.

I was supposed to get 100 off for a special promotion, which seems too good to be true, and it was. Didn't work, and no response from the company. Won't use this app again, because when you find out it doesn't work, it's already too late, and you have to just pay the full bill.

Slow, unresponsive, poorly designed app. Restaurant selection is boring (Chicago area). Only earns the second star due to the occasional good deal.

the app is glitchy and moves incredibly slowly. I tried reinstalling and it is still slow. like the savings, but extraordinarily frustrating to use

App painfully slow on 2024 flagship Samsung & Google phones, 5G and WiFi. Terrible UX, waiting 20-30 seconds hoping what you think you clicked was clicked, and finally the next screen loads. Constantly forced to upgrade versions, which occasionally force sign out & clear cache. Then you must 3FA sign in, unheard of even in high security & confidential job logins. Clear attempts to steal and sell as much of your personal data as possible, all for the low low price of $100/month. 👆Unsubscribe

Great service, bad app. Slow, laggy interface and constant connection issues make bill pay hard. Borderline unusable even on high-end devices. Seriously lacking quality control.

This company offered me 15 dollars off my next 45+ order with a certain restrauants in my area telling me to sign up so I did then after signing up you cannot even use the 15 dollars off because Toast app does allow you to enter anything about InKind and why would they when it's competition. The InKind claims you need your Toast receipt number to get the money off but that makes no sense because Toast doesn't give you an order number until after you order your food. Str8 SCAM APP

App doesn't work. I have a restaurant selected, click "pay bill", and it just pops up the lovation selection again, with nothing actually able to be selected.

In order to take advantage of this app you have to pay through the app. This means things like no ability to split checks. Servers obviously prefer you not use it. Not worth the download and handing out your email etc.

I was offered a $25 coupon to sign up for this app, which I used. It wasn't until afterward checking the website that I found out there would be a $10 per month fee for the privilege of keeping the app. Funny how that wasn't prominent in requesting me to enroll. NO WAY!

Everything was good until I referred someone to get the 25 dollar referral fee. They did purchase at a restaurant but she used a different login when she signed up. I tried to contact inkind but no customer service

I had racked up a lot of cashback but recently when I checked my account, I found that the app had kicked me out. It required logging in again but I don't remember the password and this app won't send me a recovery email so all that cashback money is gone. Such a waste of time.

Inkind offers $25 credit on first order at Buca Di Beppo and it does not work. There's no way to add the credit and the bill, paid through the app, did not credit. I proceeded the order, but frustrated that the so and restaurant do not appear linked.

We could not get the app to work. What a royal pain. First, download app, set up account, insert gift card. Then get to restaurant and waste 15 minutes trying to pay. Ultimately, pay with another card. And now I have to fight with costco (where I bought the gift card) to get a refund on the money I paid for the useless gift card. ugh.

Lured in to download the app by a coupon for a local restaurant in Chicago but I can't make a reservation thru the app and so I can't pay the bill thru the app so I don't think I'll be able to use the coupon. Seems like a bait and switch and this app hasn't made anything easier at this point; it just wants to track me and take my data

Slow and poorly designed app. If I select a specific restaurant in the app to order from, for some reason it'll give me a whole list of the restaurant's chain locations. Like come on, I don't know the address so I have to pull up Google maps to find it so I can order. Why give me the list of chains if I chose a specific location? I've accidentally lost money ordering from the wrong location.

It is also unreliable. I have used it twice. First time I paid with no problem. Second time I was not only unable to pay because it wouldn't recognize my check (the waitress claimed the restaraunt was temporily diaconnected) but on top of that I didn't receive credit for a coupon I had and was told I had to pay full price. They took my info at Brio and claimed they would give me a replacement coupon in the app but that never came. Update failed again. Can't find bill. BRIO GET RID OF THIS APP.

Terrible! I installed the app as it was recommended by a new restaurant I visited in my area. The app offered a discount for first time users, $25 off the first order. It was impossible to get the discount. Not only it lagged (e.g. 15-20" to respond for each step - pay bill, select restaurant brand, select restaurant location, etc.) but also returned to the main page after selecting "Pay". I ended up paying with my cc after I showed the server what I was experiencing. It's a scam.

Constantly forcing updates to use the app which has been problematic numerous times when trying to pay bills, especially in places with sub-optimal wireless service. The updates often introduce bugs which becomes even more frustrating/problematic (terrible lag, inability to search in current version.) App will not work with VPN enabled for safe communications. They force you to disable VPN to use the app. This benefits them but reduces customer's security. Dwindling restaurant options.

Incredibe value, maybe too good to be true so I am curious if the company is making money. Apart from that, the app's core works fine, I haven't had a problem with paying but the map is atrocious. 0 optimizations, at full scale the pins are all still shown. In a city like New York the app basically becomes 2 frames a second. It is very hard to discover new places close to you due to this. Missing basic functionality like clicking to go to your location. Needs to be fixed soon

InKind is an incredible app! It is free to sign up, and they're generous with their gift card amounts usable at any of the restaurants represented in their app. Also, the percentages they offer on money back with amounts spent at restaurants is bar none. It is definitely worth the download and to use if you want to save money at many mid to high-end restaurants
