I wear hearing aids in both ears, and I tried to install this app, but after waiting for 5 minutes, I canceled it and tried again. I waited another 4 minutes and it still just says pending, and it circles constantly but won't install. I have another app that would make the voice of the caller go right into my digital hearing aids, but I got a new phone and never connected with it. I didn't like the noisy ads from my games on the other app. Had high hopes for this app.

This app is so helpful and works better than the others I have tried, InnoCaption has the best response and it's very fast. The others have slower response and I have even had people ask me did you hear me or are you still there while I was waiting for the captions to come through on the others. And I like how I can choose between live captioners for accuracy or computer for privacy. Only thing I would add is auto backups to the call logs to the cloud somewhere (Google drive, one drive etc.).

Works really well for me. I'm not great on the phone, and it's hard to make appointments or communicate with potential employers who prefer calling over email. No one wants to call 911, but in an emergency situation this app is very helpful over text, you can actually speak with an operator and they will help connect with dispatch so your emergency is communicated.

I've had a progressive hearing loss for most of my life. I'm nearly 75. I finally chose bilateral cochlear implants about 10 years ago to address my communication needs. I've used almost every captioning service for both landlines and cell phones. This app is by far the best. I get better audio than a traditional landline, can listen with both ears to improve understanding, and get captioning to supplement the voice. Their support staff is readily available to solve problems promptly.

quality & accuracy depends on person who captions your call at any time. It varies widely. most times I get (inaudible) or (unclear) or (indiscernible). I've actually ended the call sometimes just to get a different person. names & phone numbers seem to be a bit tricky for some of their captioners as well. I am severely hard of hearing & can sometimes hear better than who is captioning the call. but it is still a service I depend greatly on & it's free.

In the past I dreaded talking on the phone due to my poor hearing and voice-mail messages were equally as bad, often had to replay messages multiple times to understand what was being said on the messages. I really started to feel very isolated. Then I ran across this free app InnoCaption and it has changed my life drastically for the better...I highly recommend anyone with hearing problems to download and use this free app! Thank you InnoCaption for restoring my communication with others!

This app has a captioning assistant mode and an auto speech recognition mode. I have it set to ca priority. It starts out with an assistant and then after a few minutes it stops captioning. I have to switch it to asr mode to get it to resume while I'm in the middle of the call. Meanwhile I've missed what was said while I was trying to figure out why it stopped. The caption quality is usually pretty good. Also it helps to have a strong data connection (e.g. Wifi).

I will not be able to say this is a good app even though I really wanted it. The first Test Call was so broken up, raspy, and totally not able to be understood. Out of a one minute call I heard maybe three broken words. I did see a text caption but it looks canned and was printed out whole (a really long one) even though I disconnected due to the extremely poor quality after less than a minute. I very disappointed, especially since this is supposed to be presented by the FCC.

I am so happy that I can now have phone conversations without always asking people to repeat themselves, because even with hearing aids I often miss words because someone has an accent, or speaks too fast, or too softly, or with too high of pitch. I also love that the conversations are saved for future reference in case I forgot what someone told me. What a great app!!

pro: very accurate transcription con: no audible ring or vibration so i am missing all calls unless phone is in my hand. not very helpful. prior yo writing a review i did troubleshooting with the innocaption in appt customer service. they did troubleshooting steps with me then advised me that until an update is created there is no fix, that some phones have this problem. unfortunately, no other apps i have founds transcribe as consistently with accuracy.

Hi! 👋 I just upgraded my Pixel 6 pro to a Pixel 8 pro. My Christmas present to myself. I recently discovered this app and I am very excited to have this option for my phone conversations. Especially the help of transcribing the conversations. That will help a lot when I am calling doctors and other important people. I use captions all the time when viewing videos and movies when available. Hopefully this coming year I'll get hearing aids. It sucks to turn into an old guy. Thanks for reading.

This app is my call app. Without it I wouldn't be able to make phone calls. It's clear both ways. THE BEST IS THE SUPPORT TEAM. very fast help for any issue . Will help in a excellent timely manner. I've not had many issues at all and I've been completely without hearing since 2017. But when I have had an issue, the response was great 👍 Thank-you innonocaption for making things a little easier on the phone call end.

This app is a lifesaver for me!! I am in the middle of moving & having to set up new services. I am hard of hearing & people's accents are hard for me to understand. Trying to set up a new service at my new place would have been impossible if I didn't have this service. I would say that so far, their AI transcribed it's about 98% accurate, which to me is excellent. I love how easy it is to use options available like forwarding my number & using Bluetooth. This is beyond helpful! Thank you!!!

The application performs exceptionally well on Android 11, delivering outstanding audio quality and consistently strong reception. However, on Android 13, I encountered a significant change. While the app flawlessly transfer text during calls, there is a notable absence of audio when making or answering calls. Fortunately, audio can still be routed through a Bluetooth unit. It's worth mentioning that the range and effectiveness of options seem to be more efficient on Android 11.

It's nice, WHEN it works. I keep my cell phone on vibrate because I work in a call center. If I forward my calls to the app, my phone RINGS. Contacted customer support, and the response was it's a glitch in the update and won't be fixed till the NEXT update. Crashes every time I try to check voicemail. Clearing cache, reboot and reactivate the app doesn't always work. Bluetooth doesn't always connect, and sometimes the other person can't hear me. I'm HOH and had high hopes for this. S21 ultra 5g

Setting up this app was one of the most convoluted and confusing processes I have ever been through. Once I had it working, it was a real disappointment to experience peoplenot hearing me. There was a long pause between when I spoke and the other person spoke. After I would disconnect a call, it would immediately dial 1000000000. Disconnecting Bluetooth was the only way I could get that to stop. This happened multiple times. I finally just uninstalled the app. Very frustrating.

I have used InnoCaption for several years and I love it. Customer service and tech service are great. I had a problem of leaving Bluetooth on during calls I had to constantly turn it off because of the static and echoing, then when finish with the phone call had to go back and turn on Bluetooth and reconnect everything. I emailed support and received a response within a couple of hours. It took a little over a week and tech with the patience of a Saint, we finally got it fixed. Great team work.

Just Exceptional! I have used the IC app for years and it is a godsend. Not only does the so function well and the captioning is very accurate, I love the fact that it gives me a very accurate record of my phone calls. On the support side the I team is responsive and so very helpful. We travel overseas often and I can contact them and give them the info on where and when we will be traveling and they can configure I to work when I travel. It is just a great piece of technology. Love it.

I am very hard of hearing and this app allows me to make and receive phone calls easily. I read along on my phone screen as the person is talking. ( I stream the call to my hearing aid with Bluetooth.) When i had trouble with some settings in the app i was able to text customer support and they patiently walked me through how to fix my settings. This app is very important to my independence and I am grateful for it!

Very useful app for those with hearingAPP loss. I had difficulty understanding voicemail messages. This app types out the message when you listen to it. ALSO, there are captions for incoming calls, as well as a way to turn captions off. Customer support is extraordinary. They responsed to my question quickly and checked back with me to see if their suggestion worked. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS APP.
