My account is not activated even after 3 business days despite the company says account account activation will happen within 1 business days. So better is to apply for the account with instarem and wait until unknown time to get your account activated. Update after 30days from application submission: I've contacted the customer service representatives in a 4-5times interval about the account activation, but they didn't responded well. So i won't suggest instarem to anyone.

Instarem has one of the best rates in the market so far. Though processing time was not as fast as it used to be years ago, today's ETA is still considered fast. Delays are experienced but not not very often and not for too long.

Referred my wife to sign up. We fulfilled their conditions of at least $10 spend on her card but it's been more than a month - nothing received. Raised a ticket to their customer service - no response. False advertising? Users should exercise caution - they dont seem capable of fulfilling their referral promise. Latest update: more than 2 weeks later, and us having fulfilled their terms for referral rewards, we have yet to receive our rewards. Seems very suspicious this company

Excellent app for transfer. I literally loved it and easy to understand. From last 1.5 years, I am using the app to transfer from Malaysia MYR to India INR & it works very well for me. The rates also is quiet fine & the best thing is quickest it reaches destination bank. Some times it suggests the best rate fr the day to plan in case we feel more profitable. I installed instarem to transfer money to germany.on August 7th I have transferred the money to them and for three days it was showing 'awaiting payment' even though I had made the payment and on the fourth day my transaction was cancelled automatically.I still haven't got money back(₹29500).When I mailed them(transfer proof)on 11th August they replied that they will notify me if there is any update in 24-36 hours. It's been three days and still haven't received any update or refund from them.

I initially gave this 5 stars. I now give it 1 star. Twice I have made payments within the time stipulated. I can prove this from bank statements. These payments were then applied to lower amount transactions. Reference number was supplied but not matched. I am told transaction should be paid within 24 hours. The app clearly states 36 hours and shows still hours to pay. Very good service but be very careful using. **instarem tried to contact me, they used an email address I can not reply to DOH

The best app used so far for transferring money overseas. The turnaround time is too good. Of late, the transfers get processed completely within a minute. Thank you.

Bad experience. Top up my wallet, Pending transaction, already deducted from my account. Wallet still $0. Not user friendly. Need it for a trip. Delay every process.Pls get someone reliable to explain it to ur customer. Dont let them wait as tbeu might need to use it urgently. Be human enough to solve our issues. Its waiting game now even though is my OWN MONEY.

I have problem using my card overseas. Sent them an enquiry and their answers kept going back in circles and doesnt help solve my problem. When i told them that their answers kept going in circles, they immediately stop replying and dont bother fixing the issue. I think they only have standard template answers and are unwilling to solve any issues.

Very frustrating exp on app and website. My account was suspended shortly after signing up. Tickets left open for 3 days without response. Finally spoke to a Live Agent on the website. He escalated my ticket, said there was a technical problem, can resolve by next day. Next day, app prompted me to submit ID manually. At noon, Singpass verification is suddenly available (what?). After verifying, website said "NRIC is already registered", and I'm stuck on the page. My account is closed w/o reason.

I was looking for wise alternative and i found this. Look at the rates, fees and their support team really good. My 1st impression I'm satisfied with my 1st transfer and the service. Money transfered just fast like wise. Hope their provide their clients with free transfer once a month that's would be great or coupons would be good too! !

The platform offers very good exchange rates in comparison to others. But the app crashes atleast 4 times before one can set up a transfer for the first time. Which is really time-consuming as we want to reenter all this data and images and PDFs again for almost 4 times. Which is really bad.

Edit: 11-Aug-24: Loading money to wallet didn't reflect even after an hour, the amaze card didn't help. There was no chat agent available for quick support also.. Overall a disappointing experience recently. == Amazing UX. Also provides the best exchange rates compared to many other players out there. Quite secure. Highly recommend!!

A long way to go. My experience as a first time user ( overseas fund transfer ) 1. UI is very sober and lacks vital information 2. Details like expected date of funds availability in recipient account is not available 3. fund transfer limits on per tnx and monthly txn are very low 4. Fast fund transfer is missing Positives: 1. I suppose it works for a lot of places but a lot of major currencies are excluded. The Russian, Syrian, and Nigerian currencies are completely excluded! This is a serious defect, it's not like other services don't/can't cover them! So I'm not sure if it's the designer's political preferences being expressed or what, but not too professional. Maybe it's supposedly still in beta, if so I missed that. But non too helpful to me at least in it's current incomplete state.

Bad experience with this app/business !! I wanted to transfer money from INR to USD. The first transfer went fine. The second time I get an email after 2 days asking me to provide additional documentation. After providing all the documents- I abruptly get a message saying "Due to internal policies - they cannot do my transfer and that I'll have to wait upto 48/72 business hours for the refund" When pressed further they wouldn't elaborate on the reason why they denied the transfer

Updated app just does not work. Tried every possible clear cache, clear data, logout and login, Uninstall and install again... unable to complete transaction from the app. Every time I just get a msg saying "something went wrong". Nothing more. Irked. It used to work before flawlessly. Fix it ASAP.

I wish I could 0 star. Because this app never works. I tried to send money twice, and it got canceled twice. On contact customer care, all I got was its due to internal policies, which can not be stated. If I can't know the reason for it, how will I rectify it for next time. ------update I have changed it from 1 to 5. After posting this review, one of the customer care agents reached out and assured me that they would fix the issue. And indeed they did and it ld working fine now. Thank you

I've given many chances to instarem due to the high exchange rate although a system issue always comes up. When adding a funding account, a 'something went wrong' error always appeared. I figured to use the payee method to bypass this error which functioned well for the first three transactions although the next two I'm asked to provide a bank statement. I don't mind so much except their website only allows one document at a time when often it is also necessary to submit a screenshot too.

The app while easy to use is clunky and not fully reliable. Example: it will tell you it has sent you an OTP which is valid only for 30 secs but the OTP comes in 10 mins later. Also, had issues with remittance when funds sent didn't arrive until 10 days later and it took multiple phone calls to get it resolved. They do give a higher exchange rate than Xoom though.
