It's really slow when it's scanning.

scan works well for me but there's no option to collaborate on an album with others. probably can add it as a future enhancement?

You can only scan nice looking photos of they are on a dark background. The camera will not detect photos if they are on a wall. I also wish you could have multiple pages or be able to increase the size the size of "box view" because it has a photo limit and once it is reached, it removes the photos from the box view.

Scan option is horrible, randomly taking photos, no green box to show, doesn't matter how still your hands are. If you can't develop the camera function, then just let people use photos from the gallery.

After one photo scan, the camera/scanner wont work/load anymore. I have to keep exiting the app and comeback for each one pity!

Useless app. The scan is definitely the worst as the quality is very low. Better to scan the pictures with a proper scan if you can!

It does not work, the pictures don't scan. The instructions say that there should be a green frame around the photo to scan it, but no green frame comes up.

Works well enough. I use it to get my instax shots into Google Photos. The only annoying thing is that when I change the date and time in Instax Up, that change isn't made to the actual image. So when I upload it to Google photos it uses the date/time that I scanned the image. I'd like the option to actually apply the date/time changes to the exif.

It's not usable. It only takes a picture IF the app recognizes a picture, but this is not at all reliable. Often it goes mental taking pictures every 1-2 second, sharp, blurry just shoots, but it does not continue to the next step. Also the correcting of the edge recognition is TERRIBLE, modern Android phones use swipe gesture but if it is enable you can't edit it, as the system thinks you want to go back. There is no way to zoom out to make it easier. All in all, probably uninstall it.

The automatic scanning of photos is not very reliable, nor is the adjustment of the corners. I'd like to see this improved and the introduction of setting a size to export a collection of images to i.e. 10x15cm etc. Otherwise so far the app is generally OK. The scan feature in Google Photos is a lot better at recognising the edges of photos, but the effect of the Instax shots on backgrounds and the flexibility of creating a collage is better in Instax Up! overall.

Can you add location history like you have date history when uploading new photos? Also please make a way to sort photos by date or tag, it would be much easier than drag and dropping each picture.

Per the app's instructions, my film is against a background with high contrast to the white film border, but the app refuses to recognise it and does not show the green frame.

It's OK but, for me, the main flaw is the Edit option. If you choose to edit manually such as increasing saturation, the white photo mount is also edited. Fundamental really, the edits should only apply to the image. That is how the auto edit function works! Using the "remove reflections" option crashes the App. Having said tgat I have used black and white film yet.. ..

Barely works, have to try to scan repeatedly only for them to turn up warped even though everything is static on a tripod and perfectly symmetrical. Why should we use this barely working app when it's so much easier and faster to just take a pic with the phone???

Doesn't allow you to scan fully Deco Cheki easily, some half deco it really struggles with (took the picture 25 times then nothing) some have taken an hour for the app to recognize & scan and corners can be a pain, you have corner right but when you remove your finger the corner mark moves & you have to start again. With basic Chekis the app is brilliant (fully white borders) otherwise good luck

It is really easy to use. It's more to save your films and scan them. You can make collages of all of your memories. It's simple. You have 2 options to scan them. Automatic, or you can just fix the corners manually. It scans them perfectly, and it saves every picture you've taken, including location, time, and any other information you would like to add for the picture. It is a vitural album.
