I'm using mine overseas to check on my mother and it's been great. If she doesn't hear the cell phone (because sometimes volume is down and she does not know how to adjust) I will call her over the camera and she answer it. The picture quality is good as well. Don't know why people gave 1 star rating. I think its a great value and got another one to use in my own house. updated: December 06, 2022 > having issues with camera being offline and not able to connect for a couple weeks now.

No warnings that you were upgrading. Messed up camera. Now I have to get different camera??? Seriously. App was upgraded recently & shut off my camera. I can not get app to open up onto phone. Unplugged everything, turned off phone, still nothing. Removed app from phone & added it back, still nothing. Camera turns on & light blinks & beeps, that's all it does. Nothing on my end has changed. UPDATE: 3/5/21 I can not delete my account. App will not let me. Very dissatisfied. 😤

its a great app, and the camera i got for it is awesome. on ly thing I don't like is that the settings well there really isn't much u can do . would be great if it would pan around on it own from left to right as a constant thing , maybe it can and I just haven't figured it out . whichever leads me to the other thing dumb down the instructions a little for us simple minded people on the new algorithm thing. thanks

I need someone to show me how to rewind on this app??Pointless when I can't rewind (thus, that means it's not recording!?), even after I paid for the Cloud service. Also, I shouldn't have to keep logging in for the camera to be online. I also, want it to only record when it detects motion, and I've definitely tested it multiple times, and still doesn't appear to record. I obviously need it to provide me with surveillance footage for while I'm away from home.

Simple and works well, set up was quick and easy. Wanted to keep and eye on home while out of town. Figured things were quiet on my little corner of neighborhood. Amazing how much goes on during the day, nothing bad which is a relief. Have a collectable truck, surprised how many people stop to look at it. Tried some features like talking through camera while 60 miles away in another town. Other person could hear me though a little scratchy, but could hear them clearly. Lot of bang for the buck.

The app goes into some sort of standby mode and the camera loses connection, it says "Media Stream Failed: Retrying" and stays on for couple of minutes before camera comes back online again. Everyday there are new things that I am not liking about it, other users have recently listed some like with camera movement. Also, the picture quality is not that great, doesn't handle light around well, b/w shows better picture than color. I have it connected to 5G and sometimes I get blurry picture.

The picture and recording quality is great. But it would be nice if the alarm worked on more than one device. If the one with the working alarm is out of town the test of the people who live in the house have no idea if some is happening unless they are watching the camera 24 hours a day. So all in all great camera but terrible monitoring app.

I have 3 cameras installed, I was receiving alarm notificación but all of a sudden, I do not get them anymore. I checked the alarm settings and every is set properly. Not sure what's the issue. But what the point if I am not notify if someone is trying to get in the house. I would appreciate any feed back. I tried with the "contact us" option but it doesn't work.

This would get more stars if it would send alerts to my phone when motion is detected. I have all the permissions allowed, and it still won't notify me. I have to open the app and check for alarms. I tried to contact them through the app and got no response. I'm paying 2.99 for premium cloud which isn't bad. But might have to cancel it if it doesn't tell me when someone's in the yard

If I could give negative stars I would. This system really only worked the first week after we installed the camera. Issues we've had; Alerts from camera constantly day and night yet when you click on the notification it says no alerts available, no motion detection alerts. Never saves camera feed to the cloud, I can't even get to the cloud. It keeps popping up the different pay plans, I already paid for one. Camera video lags a lot on live view. Like by minutes sometimes. DO NOT BUY!

I don't know if it's the camera or the app, but it only let's you watch 5 Mins of live feed before popping up a prompt that says "are you still watchimg?" And if you don't click it, it exits the live feed. I've emailed them 5 times about it, and although the prompt disappeared for a day or 2, it comes right back and noone EVER responds!! Really frustrating. I wish MIPC worked for all cameras!

What is wrong with this app?! I rely on this camera to keep watch of a vacation home and the app keeps crashing. My phone keeps telling me the app has stopped. It shows loading, freezes then crashes! Worked great before the update. Fix this! Update: Update for app finally showed back up in Google Play. All is well. Thanks for the correction.

I've had the camera for a year, and the app is very buggy. It will not save captured photos or videos that are downloaded, and the camera sometimes tells me there is an alert and sometimes doesn't. I also have an active cloud subscription and have notices for motion detection, but the videos are not saving to the enabled cloud. This causes anxiety when I'm miles away. Customer service also ignores emails, so I will replace this camera with another Wyze product.

Very disappointed. I keep getting a message that the app has stopped. I have not even has the camera 2 months and have been having issues for the month of February. If I cant get into the app the camera is a waste of money. I tried uninstalling with no improvement. Even powered my phone off for an hour with no improvement. Would not recommend at all.

Since the update, the App doesn't open properly anymore. It would try and open, then freeze, then go off. Repeatedly. I've had to uninstall and reinstall several times with the same result. I had to unplug the camera itself and pack it up. It's useless now since leaving it plugged would feel like someone else has access to my place through the camera

Audio on video playback in the app, from camera mounted SD card, is warbled. The only way to hear the audio is to record the video to my phone during playback in the app, then play that video in my phone's media player. That is way more complicated than it needs to be. The problem is in the app, not the video, or the warbled audio would be in the 2nd recording as well. It's been like this for about 2yrs now. Please fix that.

Pretty nice app, a few things I'd like to see added and changed. When you have it fullscreen if you tap the screen you should be able to use the talk feature, volume on/off, picture, and video. Each time you plug in the camera it should save the direction you previously had it in for 360° models (could be a setting to save that direction) sometimes when power goes out it will turn on and be in the wrong direction. There should be a setting to make the time show up a.m. and p.m. or 24hr.

I truly enjoy the app but I am seeing few bugs: 1.- the time is off and I don't have a way to change it 2.-is there any way to fast forward so that I can see what happend in the last hour without needing to sit down for an hour watching the video? 3.- when I am select to playback a certain time, it does not play the time I selected but one hour after what I selected. I noticed that instead of selecting with the red line, I am selecting with the far right side of my screen.

Thank you for the update!!! This is huge improvements! I really like the buttons to move the camera instead of swiping. With this update almost every issue have been addressed. One thing tho, is it normal for the screen to move up and down? It's most noticeable when in full screen. It never used to do that in original version of this app. I'm not talking about camera moving, just the screen moves up and down. Almost as if the screen isn't showing "full" view.

Works great majority of the time. Occasionally will cut out and needs to be turned off and back on, but that's a rare occurrence and who knows, it could be due to something unrelated. Good picture quality. We've had the cameras for over a year now and definitely don't have any complaints. We only use it to check in on things occasionally however (see the dog laying around on the couch and hopefully staying out of trouble). We don't use any of the save/storage or alert/alarm features.
