Only two issues with this app or else it would've been 5 stars... the calls doesn't end immediately after hanging up, you can still hear the other person for about 5 seconds after hanging secondly the dialer does know when a number is disconnected from when a number is in use. Like if u dial a disconnected number it should play a message saying the number is disconnected, iplum ring for a whole minute until the call ends.

I recently started my own business and needed a way to manage my calls and texts. iPlum was the perfect solution. The app lets me add a local US number to my smartphone, and offers great features like a virtual receptionist and call recording. It's also affordable and easy to use. Highly recommend!

I've been using this app for several years. Mostly clear conversations. However considering the people I usually talk to or text with this app are literally on the opposite side of the planet it wasn't bad. It really seems most of the time like we were calling across town, rather than 12 time zones away. It is a great app when away from home.

I use iPlum for my small business, and it has been a game changer. The phone tree and virtual receptionist features make it easy for customers to reach the right department, and the call forwarding feature ensures I never miss an important call. Plus, the fact that it's HIPAA compliant gives me peace of mind when communicating with clients.

It does what it says but the app is unstable and has a poor interface. It freezes and becomes irresponsive, even to exit it. Then when launched it does not show what should be an obvious screen - to make calls. (I suggest they learn something from Cloud SIM.) Then, its call rates to the country I call most are outrageously high - twice the competition.

This app is a great alternative for those without dual SIM phones, or someone wishing to port a local number and use it as VOIP. My only issue has been that the notifications for calls don't always push, and the calls will go straight to my voicemail. Also, it's been taking longer than expected to port in my local number. Besides those small hiccups, it's a pretty good alternative to traditional mobile services.

Rarely write reviews. I have tried many calling app over time. But this iPlum is definitely one of the better ones. My Reasons: 1) Provides both highly reliable carrier PSTN network or VoIP for making calls and still show my iPlum number as CallerID. 2) This app makes it very clear about privacy of the texts. Every other app is reading your texts. 3) Auto-attendant is best thing for a business where you can play a greeting when someone calls you and you can setup virtual extensions.

it's a pretty app appropriately achieves its goal to give access of a phone. it's a plus that it gives you a private number of your own. its pretty cool with calling and one you want for free without running out if any minutes. only thing is it tense to break up every now on den. other than that i love it :) Wonder how it works in Canada

Clean design, easy to navigate. Several additional charges from what I thought I signed up for. Business users can avoid outgoing text charges. Their tech support through email is improving, even same day support available for urgent matters. Had a call drop but just got everything working now after some tech confusion. Trying again. I'll see how reliable service is and maybe add a star as the app improves.

I used iPlum on my Tablet and it works just fine have not had any problems with it as long as there is a strong connection makes calls and receive calls. I love it. No ads, it doesn't make you wait to skip either like other apps. I would recommend this for everyone needing a wifi message app.

As someone who travels internationally frequently, iPlum has been a lifesaver. I can stay connected with my clients and team no matter where I am in the world without worrying about expensive roaming charges. The app is reliable and the call quality is top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a second phone number for personal or business use.

I've been using iPlum for my small business for a few months now, and I'm blown away by the features. The virtual receptionist and phone tree have made it easy to manage incoming calls, and the ability to forward to multiple phone numbers has helped ensure I never miss a call. Plus, the app is easy to use and affordable. Highly recommend for any small business owner!

iPlum is the only real free no strings attached incoming and outgoing, texting phone services available. They give you an option to choose your own phone numbers like your real phone. The best part about these apps is you can use one as a professional line. The other is if you're single and ready to mingle but not a 100% sure on giving your real number out to a creeper 2ndLine is perfect!

So annoyed with the nickel and diming this company does. They don't tell you they charge $5 to port your number in until you've already purchased your plan. They also charge to upgrade your voicemail, for call recording, and text saving. If you plan on utilizing everything this app offers, plan on paying more than what they advertise as the cost. Edit 9/11/19: Their customer service is practically non-existent. The only option to contact them is via email which they respond to when they get to it. I contacted them because my port was taking a long time with no update (they don't tell you it's going to take 2-7 days). Two weeks later and they finally get back to me saying it was my previous carriers fault it's taking so long, but they can't tell me why. I've spent $ for something I can't use. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

I think their staff has spent more time trying to get me to change reviews than providing me with tech support as a customer. They disliked one of my reviews so much they alluded to dropping my service. I switched to another service (was planning to do so ). I easily get notifications from the other service, a smoother interface and have unlimited secure texting. I felt like Iplum came with many hidden fees as well to get the same service other places will give you at a monthly rate.

As an expat living outside the US, it sucks to not have a direct line I can use to call/text people back home. I've been using this ever since the pandemic started and I've been happily using it as a permanent US number. Very helpful! The only thing this app lacks seems to be some quality of life stuff. I can't pin favorite contacts or favorite message chains, for instance. And it's a hassle to track usage credits in real-time.

iPlum is the best app for managing my business calls and messages. The call quality is fantastic and the app is very reliable. I love the ability to add a local US phone number to my phone for separate calling, text messaging, and voicemail. Plus, the customer support is top-notch. I highly recommend iPlum to anyone looking for a reliable business phone solution.

Don't waste your money on this. The app freezes often, requiring restarting the phone. It drops calls and uses all the data from your cell phone plan. To boot, you can't cancel the plan --the instructions say there are choices that don't exist; I had to cancel my credit card payment, and was informed that there would be no refund of the unused service I had bought. On top of all that, there are no "live" customer assistants--all communication. is by text/email.

Half the time the messages don't send. i have to turn the phone off and back on to get them to send. Frequently it will take 2-3 restarts. I often get a message thst file is too large when i attach a photo (which I have previously sent on a regular SMS format text app). These errors occur with and without wifi turned on/connected. Frequently, i will not get a notification that an iPlum text has come in at all until i open iPlum and see it. Frustrating. It also stops unexpectedly.

Pretty often, calls don't get pushed through. It's not an issue of internet connectivity or phone service, it's something with the app itself. I've changed phones and the same problems have persisted. It becomes frustrating when you hear the ping of a call coming through, but there's no ring or received call. Lately, these calls don't even show up in the "recents" log. It's become a major issue
