1) DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE: If you don't want Ads, there is a $1.49 option that takes care of it. For $3.99 you get the "Plus" version which adds features and no Ads BUT... you will never know unless you actually INSTALL the plus version. I neglected to do that: Not realizng I was still running the "basic" version I stupidly forked over another $1.49 to get rid of the ads. 2) The app does not support creation of playlists from NAS files. Error message "0 files loaded.

Playback speed off a little slow after last update need fix! Overall and I'm sure people will argue with you but it is the best music player I tried so many of them and now I've had this one for quite a while it was outstanding really for anybody interested. Just on the headphones nevermind Bluetooth, speakers in each set has about a hundred different types of headphones that different companies. I have found Phoenix General in Boston, so many options!

Would be my go-to music player but for 2 major issues: 1) There is no way to universally restrict what audio it finds to a specified folder. Yes, you can limit song/genre browsing, but that isn't how I or many users browse. This makes the player exceptionally inconvenient for me when I want to find a particular album. Minus 1.5 stars 2) Ads have grown too invasive, now actively interfering with use. Minus .5 stars. If #1 were fixed, I'd buy it and avoid #2.

I stumbled upon this player while doing other things. As a long time fan and user of poweramp paid version, I thought I'd never find anything equal to it. All I can say is WOW...sound and eq controls are perfect, and ergonomically everything about it is just amazing - simple yet visually pleasing, and I've never seen any player offer the DSP options you do. Buying the upgraded version soon... just want to play with it a little first. Thanks

Is there a way to display album art in the player as "Center (Transparent top/bottom)" without rounding of the corners? It's a preferred look, but I'd like it much more with the clean edges and sharp corners. I'd also love the "black gradient" option for background color in addition to "auto-gradient" and "white-gradient" in the player.

App was initially a good choice. Have used it for several years. Currently running version 9.11.0 on a Samsung S9 Android phone. Recently the app has consistently been pausing playback on its own after 5 to 10 minutes of playing time, regardless if playing on the phone itself or through Bluetooth connection to another device. Until situation gets resolved, cannot recommend this app.

One Thing Keeps This From Being A 5 Star Rating. And that is, when using it with bluetooth, when I hit the buttons to advance or go back, it skips to the previous chapter or tbe next chapter, instead of using the 20 seconds of forward or reverse toggle I have set that feature for. That means to hear something I may have missed, especially on a long track, I must stop and open my screen and manually toggle a few seconds back, or forward. And that is a huge problem when driving a vehicle.

Up until the 11.0 update the app worked great with Android Auto but now it’s partially broken. It doesn’t matter if my phone connection is wired or wireless, my car radio display shows a spinning circle and nothing ever populates on the main menu for artists, albums, songs or playlists. I have to use either the app on my phone or voice commands to play music. Even though the album cover will be displayed while a song is playing, when you hit the back arrow at the top left nothing shows on the main menu. It's still the spinning circle. Clearing storage/cache, uninstall/reinstall, reboot phone fixes nothing. Reinstalling the last version or a different music player app resolves the problem.

This was an amazing app. It played all my songs. No matter the file type and worked perfectly with my cars Bluetooth. But this most recent problem has me wanting to delete it. Everytime I open the app and go to choose a song, it minimizes before I can. If I reopen it, it minimizes again. I currently just did this about ten times in a row and am going to my other music player now out of frustration. I dont have a cheap phone. An Samsung S21 Ultra to be exact that is up to date. Fix your app!

I've had this app for several years. It's one of the best feature loaded apps I've ever used. And the equalizer (10 bands) is perfect for my phone (Moto G Power). Anything you do/press within the app is quick. There are some additional options you have to pay for which I'm finally going to get for use on my new Bluetooth speaker (Soundcore Motion+). The Bluetooth aspect is very responsive. You can't go wrong with this app.

I like the fact that I can read my server shares, I don't like that the app loses them and I have to restart my phone to get them back. I am disappointed that the random play feature cycles the same 30-40 songs out of a playlist of 2000+ tunes and I have to manually select a new, unplayed selection to break the cycle but then it just starts again with a different 30-40 songs. This is the best app I've found for playing network content but that said, it does drop the share pretty frequently.

I love this app. The interface is clean and easy to use on both my phone and PC. It works with Android Auto (displays on both the car head unit and my phone which I think is great). I had some issue with the interface on my phone (toolbar kept disappearing then reappearing at random); turns out the top left portion of the 'song' screen is a toggle point for the toolbar, the lower left for the speed control toolbar, and the center for lyrics. Tech support sorted that out and life is grand. It's easy to 'favorite' a song or add it to a playlist while your listening to a song. I use it all the time when I'm travelling.

This app is an amazing audio player. It has a simple, and easy to pick up UI, but still leaves an unbelievably large list of features and options that leave the user feeling 100% in control. It can also automatically recognize folders in your devices storage, which is a huge bonus for people who use multiple music players. The only reason it isn't perfect is because you have to pay to get rid of ads. However, they're very non intrusive, and if your phone's off you can't see them anyways.

*** UPDATED *** The bug I mention below isn't really a bug. It's a setting: Preferences -> Playback -> Resume -> Don’t use Their support team answered this very quickly. Knocking off a star because it doesn't recognize *.cue files for .flac audio. Purchased the app. There is a bug that is preventing me from purchasing the jetAudio app - let's say you're playing an album starting with track 1 for example, it plays track 1 and then skips to somewhere in the middle of track 2. It's very consist...

Works well. Finds my music files. The only minor annoyance is the not so very obvious "switch" to toggle speed adjust. It has a ton of features that I don't use but would come in handy for learning a song, like speed adjust. All kinds of cross fade and next song options. Best player I've found. Just wish this or any other had useful AGC, even if not look ahead.

Can't recommend this app - too many bugs. Artists show in the "Artists" section but with no corresponding songs under those artists. However, browsing by Albums, all of the songs and album art display. Album track order is also sorted by first digit instead of actual number. For instance: 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 2, 3, 4 etc. It's a nice interface but just isn't usable. Albums also seem to be sorted by contributing artist or something, so albums are split up really badly.

I have tested JetAudio against many other players and JetAudio with the available DSP addons provides better sound quality than the others by a significant margin. Very pleased. Feature request, though: I would love to see a button like "Play this Album" that would load and play the entire album containing the song that's playing when the button is pushed. So, for example, if I'm playing all my songs in random order and the song "Hard Day's Night" comes up, I could hit the button and JetAudio would then load and play the entire Hard Day's Night album from start to finish. This would be particularly helpful if the button was also available in Android Auto. Not only is scrolling of albums limited while driving with Android Auto, but Google Assistant contains a bug that prevents albums from being played in the correct song order when issuing a voice command to play an album (regardless of player). Unfortunately, there is currently no good way to play an album of locally stored songs using Android Auto. A "Play this Album" option would help a lot with that.

I have used the Windows desktop version for many years. On my first Android device I tried the free app then quickly purchased the paid version and some plug-ins (Bon Jovi). The sound is full and imersive. With classical, new age or country (my music styles) they all sound great. Bass is great, voice is crystal clear and detail is there on my Samsung BT headphones. It will not disappoint.

Dripping with Awesomeness! I have downloaded many music playing apps over many lifetimes, and this one stands out. The Equalizer choices are phenomenal to say the least, as are the other enhancers. Also great playlist set up. It does suck a little that a few sound boosters are off limits unless you get premium. But it's only a few and the less important few too, so you're forgiven. Conclusion: Take notes future developers.

I get that you want people to buy the paid version but the amount of ads in this app is absurd. I tried it because I've used the pc version before and liked it, but the mobile version is obviously a gimmick to get people to pay for the paid version. Nah, decided to try a different app with no ads, works just as good as this app without the annoying ads popping up every minute. It's free too. Not gonna name the app, but I definitely won't be using Jet Audio anymore.
