The fact that jetblue is now requiring you to use this buggy app to use a mobile boarding pass instead of emailing you one deserves 1 star. Anti-consumer business practice that wont get them far. Update: many months later and it's just as bad. They force you to have an account with them in order to view your boarding pass. And when I try to actually create an account, every time it says "sorry, there was a problem" and cancels. So now I have no choice but to print a boarding pass.

It contains "almost" al the necessary information. "Almost" is a problem though. It does NOT show "Mosaic" status in the boarding pass screen. Gate agents have no way to identify it and need to manually verify each time I pass through a gate to board. It's super inefficient. So. etimes stops working at boarding time which completely defeats the purpose.

When booking a flight there is no final review of the itinerary before you complete the purchase. This is a problem when working from a phone where it is easy to select the wrong flight from a list on a touch screen. Jetblue customer service is the best in the industry, but giving a final review of the itinerary before completing the purchase would probably save a lot of phone calls!

Basically unusable most of the time. I can navigate around the app, but whenever I try to check into a flight or view a boarding pass, it often takes ~5-10 minutes to load (it will just get stuck on a screen that says "updating" or something). Ive tried this on multiple wifi networks and on data, so it's not a network issue. I have gotten it to load my ticket and work before after waiting for a long time, but sometimes I cant and just have to get the desk to print out my ticket.

When I travel, the last thing I need is a hassle checking in for a flight, getting my boarding pass on my phone, and trouble tracking flight status or finding alternative flights. Thats exactly what I get with this app. it crashes at the worst possible times. The app still needs more work. I want to put my boarding pass in my electronic wallet. I must access the pass without internet access. I expect the check-in process to work every time with "oops, something went wrong. Try again later."

Terrible. This app can't be used to actually browse for Jet Blue flights. That's because the calendar feature doesn't work on that page, so you can only look at flights for TODAY. The only other way to search for flights is to use the booking feature. This app is useless, and that's consistent with JetBlue's digital presence. Love the airline, but none of their other sht works. Update: I stand by what I said. Also it just took me 211 tries to check in 6 people. Come on, guys.

Very laggy while booking trips. They pretty much force you to not call them to book by adding a fee for that, but then you have to restart your transaction multiple times because the app is buggy. You might be better off just booking over the phone and taking the fee since the price will probably rise at some point in your multiple attempts to book on the app anyway. The app is very useful for check-in and boarding. The fact that it's this way works in JetBlue's favor and I'm sure they know it.

This is an app which makes it easy to track your flight, check-in, and have a digital boarding pass. However I almost missed boarding my flight because my boarding pass in the app suddenly would not appear on the main screen. So while people are trying to get around me I am fumbling around and trying to enter my confirmation number again. Really frustrating which is a shame because this was my first bad experience with this app.

Not sure how one of the major American air carriers has an app that doesn't compete with apps that first rolled out on smartphones. Slow loading, constant errors, constant start and restarts in booking progress if you try to change something, and, the best part of all, checking into a flight the night before, showing up to the gate for the 2nd leg of a flight, seeing "boarding pass available", in the app but having no option to view the boarding pass. Stand in line to get a paper one. Awesome!

Review this app from time-to-time since I fly with JetBlue frequently - my favorite airline! Never met an app with more personalities than this - can't make up its mind if it's great or horrible. The app is buggy, then improved and terrific, then buggy again. Where is the Q/A, guys?!? Current issues around check-in: (1) When getting to the final page (Payment), say, to pay for bags, app faults with unknown error when trying to pay with stored card on Android; (2) App should not even be here(!) -- it should remember my JetBlue credit card, of all things, which I've had for years and years -- why do you even ask me? (Then, why do you crash when I give it?); (3) The back arrow (on Android) should take me one step back in the check-in process. Instead, it completely dumps me back to the Home screen and I have to start over. I tried checking in probably 8 times or more before I ditched the app and went to my PC to check in. Very unfortunate, especially for a past multi-year Mosaic customer with a JetBlue credit card who is very familiar with apps. Can't imagine what an inexperienced user has to do.

The app is definitely useful and I love having my boarding pass on my phone. However, it won't let me check in (kept saying something went wrong try again). I had to check in on a computer and then the app updated itself. This was especially frustrating while we were abroad because we didn't bring computers, thinking we could rely on the app. Not the biggest deal, but definitely annoying.

First time flying with jetBlue so figured I'd give the app a try since I've had good luck with all the other airline apps out there. I pretty much only use airline apps to check in and display boarding passes. Departure flight worked fine. Return flight allowed check in after a few attempts but then would not display boarding pass, just a blank white screen. Tried a couple times, cleared app, rebooted phone, same thing. Thankfully I was not running late or it could have made me miss my flight. Finally just went to gate agent and got a paper boarding pass. Lame. I'll give the app two stars since it worked the first time. Guess I'll just go back to Delta.

Easily the worst of the airline apps that I have used. Signing up did not work--I went through the entire dialog (twice) and at the final step it said something went wrong. I had to go to a computer to register. Same exact dialog, except it worked. Check in via the app did not work. It required entering my return date, but did not accept inputs for that. Again I had to go to my computer to checking.

When it works, it is ok, trouble is, it is buggy, and for something like travel when you need to rely on it, don't bother! I complained to support, they laughed at me and said "well, it's only an app", I guess the developers think that way too. Very unprofessional. The information it shows is mangled, often it will crash when trying to fetch details for an upcoming flight, often, flights are missing. You will have to rely on the Web instead

This app sucks!!!! It always takes a minimum of 5 attempts to book a trip. Every time I go to complete my booking the app conveniently crashes. I go back in to book the same flight again now I'm being up charged an extra $10-$20 per occurrence. So because the team cannot maintain their app appropriately, I have been charged an extra $80 for the same exact flight. I only booked it because it is an emergency trip. This will be the last flight I book with this app, maybe even the airline.

This app is awful. Almost every time I book a flight I get an error message. Sometimes the flight is booked even though the error message appears. I once double booked because of this. Since then I make sure I check my booked flights to see if the error is for real. This has been the case for several months as I fly about 6 round trips per year and usually book one-way flights at a time. Update: After several updates the app is still horrendous. The worst app I've ever dealt with.

**update** 4 stars to 1. Sick and tired of the "manage flight" not working. Remove it from the app. It always freezes or times out. Better off using the website. Great app when it works. Often has trouble accessing account, finding trips, searching for flights, and so on. However when it does work it works great. Ability to change seats / view which seats are open prior to flight is a great feature. Recent updates seems to have fixed a lot of issues but we will see.

App is very glitchy. It frequently freezes, goes back to the beginning, or has an error message. It is also very difficult to find/see the info for the second leg of each flight. If you click on the flight number, it only shows info for the first leg... even if you click on the second leg. The app also doesn't send alerts for bags. We had a bag lost and didn't know. It's easily the least user-friendly flying app I've ever used. I will definitely not be using this airline again in the future.

Doesn't do push notification for your flight unless you separately search for updates and then choose notifications. It doesn't let you know this is required. After all that, it still cannot be relied upon to notify you. makes searching for flights a minor PITA by forcing you to choose airports from a list rather than entering them by code if you prefer.

App self-launches despite being force-closed. -1* Definitely needs some work . Tried to check in. App gives zero indication you were successful or a way to save boarding pass on the device for the inevitable no data connection scenario at the airport. I tried different paths thru the check-in process one just sat spinning saying "completing your check-in". Never completed. Eventually I gave up and used the web site which isn't a lot better. Hope the pilots are better than the programming staff.
