Jetpack is an invaluable tool for WordPress users looking to enhance their site’s functionality, security, and performance without the hassle of managing multiple plugins. Its comprehensive feature set, ease of use, and reliable support make it a top choice for both beginners and experienced site owners. While there are costs associated with the premium features, the value provided justifies the investment for those serious about their online presence.

Editing posts (for self hosted site) is broken since a few weeks. I can only edit the title. The "start writing" of the main post content stays grayed out / disabled. Worthless. The "WordPress" app has the same problem. I thought switching to Jetpack would help. But that is not the case.

When I try to post with an image included, the image gets uploaded to the media library, but the post has an error and states, “We couldn’t complete this action, and didn’t publish this.” It never shows in the drafts on my PC either. I just tried to add a post from my phone without an image, and it just stuck for quite a while and then said, “We couldn’t publish this post, but we’ll try again later.

UX of the editor is terrible. Unexplained and unwielding gaps in sentences that are so wide I have to scroll a couple of times. I just wanted to do a quick edit on the go, but it just can't be done. Many widgets are still not supported. I understand that, but the messaging can be less scary. I had to go back to the desktop version to verify it wasn't just an app issue.

Lacking stable connections. While the upgrade from the last update, the app isn't really usable due to not being able to view or make any changes to my site. Shows no pages or current blog posts, only what was there previously. Will considered going back to the WP app to be able to view my pages and posts and upload without having to reset my site kit every time or redirect to a non https domain.

The concept of the app is great. The functionality of the app needs serious work. It's somewhat difficult to format posts on here. But what's super frustrating is the frequent freezings and losing parts of my posts. Despite me frequently saving my posts when I'm writing, the app keeps freezing and then deleting all of or half of what I'd write. It easily takes twice as long to write because of this. Seriously making me consider using something else.

Decent, but features on web version missing from app, that shouldn't be. (Both Jetpack and Wordpress.) Portfolio, for example. It is a special type of post, but still a post. And so it should be able to be used in-app, but isn't present. (Even when portfolio is enabled on the web version.) Makes it a real pain when a site is primarily made of portfolio post/pages.

BRING BACK WORDPRESS & ditch this buggy and useless app!!!! My kid's school uses Wordpress and we've been forced to switch to the Jetpack app. It's a bug filled waste of time Photos sometimes load, sometimes don't. I cannot open ANY post from the notification -- I get a loading screen from the app that NEVER changes. Instead I have to back out of it to my in-app notification list and click on that to see what the actual post is. ...... I hit the 500 character limit

My experience went like this...tried to sign in, it tells me my sign in credits are incorrect. I got through the process of resetting my password, but it always tells me in the last step, that I have the incorrect key? Hey, so, I can just open the other WordPress apps and sites and have no issues. Problem solved. Good luck!🤞🏻

This app is so frustrating. When it comes to posting, scheduling, or drafting something with images it will say it cannot upload media only to have duplicate after duplicate of the same image in your media folder. So you get this error a dozen times in a row and then suddenly the post will work and go up. It's beyond maddening and makes the whole process of using the app so slow.

I've been using this app ever since WordPress made the switch from their app to this one. At first, I loved it. Recently though, when trying to publish a blog from my drafts, the post simply disappears. It's deleted from drafts, but never appeared on my published blog posts. To publish a post from drafts, I now have to go to a preview of the draft post, and copy/paste the entire post as a new blog post. I them go into drafts and delete the post from that page. It's frustrating.

The app is great for managing comments, reading posts, and scheduling, but NOT for editing posts with images, regardless of whether a post has been published or not because any existing images will disappear. This is inexcusable, and it's been an issue for over a year now. If not for the other features, the app would be basically worthless.

Need more improvement. When QR scan login, it shows the wrong location of the user. Ex. The user is in Oregon, but the QR scan shows the user being in Texas. Plus, there is no option to modify the Blogging Schedule Reminder on this app. It is not in notification nor in stats or account or anyway else. Once a blog's schedule is set, it's impossible to re-edit due to a lack of options or settings related to that blogging reminder.

Almost perfect for editing and building a website/blog, and a better optimized tool than the original wordpress app if I had to say. I think this would take the cake if it allowed website editing (ie ui elements and menus and etc) in app, which isn't a huge dealbreaker without it as you can sort of do that through mobile browser (which is a bit clumsy, but I digress); I am satisfied with it as is and hope for more improvements over time.

Used with Wordpress, the app usually starts out ok. But quickly the app begins to stall and freeze. As you are typing on the keyboard, the words will stop appearing. If you wait about 30 seconds, the app will suddenly come back to life and vomit the letters you typed on the screen, sometimes in the order you intended. However, it might put the letters at the front of a sentence or the end of it, or maybe even in a different paragraph.

It's a good intermediate plugin but I feel that it tries to do way much. It works well but as far as features for all the areas it covers it is intermediate and not expert level. especially when it comes to Rich snippets and open graph and such. but for starting websites it's a great plugin to use. I still use some parts of it but not others.

I've used WordPress for a long time and jetpack, honestly, is not that different. It has great functions and has cleaned up over time, but the main gripe I have is that the app itself lags HORRIBLY! While I'm typing, eventually it will stop showing what I'm typing and I have to mentally remember what I'm typing and even then doesn't appear on screen until I back out of the app for a minute and come back.

Decided to trust this app a bit more to write posts. I haven't experienced sync issues like I had in the past, which definitely gives me confidence; I can now reliably save drafts and make corrections in published posts. The biggest pain point for me now is that any time a new line of text is created, the app pauses for anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds before reflecting that change. This includes pressing Enter to make a new paragraph block. Tapping on the toolbar does nothing during this time.

Worse than it's predecessor. Slower. Less user friendly. Wants to download ALL my online media. Constantly refreshing regardless of whether I'm on wifi or data. But, I HAVE to use it if i want to keep my WP account so I muddle through. Now it blows up anything that was drafted through the website. Deletes photos and links. Absolutely shite.

I love the app! Super easy to use. Easy to add new members. There are a few other things to consider adding to jetpack. I think tools would be a handy set of tabs available within like as on WordPress editor. I also wish that editing the pages could be set to specific tags. It may be possible, I'm not 100% sure. I may just be ignorant with WordPress editor these days. But if it is, I don't know how. At least on mobile easily. Overall, jetpack is the best WordPress app.
