App is not user friendly. It's a great service, awesome videos but the app is really awful. The search feature is pretty much useless. The categories are not easily accessible unless they are the pre selected ones. I'm a long time user and I'm disappointed that you can't make a better app with such a wonderful service and content. 😩 Still has some issues like now it gives me errors when I try to get a link to share via email or other platforms. Sometimes file downloads are not possible to send

I like this idea a lot. I've used it multiple times for friends and family. They usually love it! However, (and this is a BIG down-side) having to put my brown-skinned friends/family on mostly white characters due to there being very few options to choose from with characters with brown skin (unless I want all my cards to have a hip-hop theme -_- ) was very frustrating. Millions of us exist so it'd be nice to be considered. This is one of the main reasons I'm cancelling my subscription.

It's pretty cool and super fun. I was under the impression that you could make a video and share it. That's it. Apparently you have to pay for a subscription. I didn't see that posted anywhere til after I took the time to join, save faces, and make a video....it let me watch like five seconds of the video before it basically said I had to buy the subscription. Disappointing...

Needs alot of improvement. Hard to locate anything except play options. Sometimes when I share a video the wrong one is sent. No its not user error. I came across Artist somehow and now I can't find my way back. Things that should be simple are frustrating. When I signed up it automatically signed me up a 1 year plan. Took yearly payment and now I can't figure out how to change it to monthly and get rest of year refunded. I would rather know if I like it before committing to a year. 😒

wow! just wow! It keeps crashing and freezing all the time ... Don't waste your $ on this app. I would give zero 0 star if I could. Total garbage. Response to the reply by developers: All I got out of your app was 3 videos. Then it stopped working. You think you can fix the problem via email? Your app is garbage!!! Develop an app that works or don't scam people with garbage apps

Love the idea of the site and have used it a few times - but always on a web browser. The app is a constant crash, or it takes forever to load. I'm beginning to wonder why I wasted my time joining this time as I've only done 2 videos since I got it. If the app doesn't improve, I will not be renewing my subscription. It's just too frustrating.

Looking at previous reviews, the developers claim the crashing issue was resolved if you download the newest version of the app...but this is NOT the case. The crashing app remains no matter what they "Claim" has been resolved. I have installed, uninstalled then reinstalled on a brand new, high-end phone. Still, halfway through, the app crashes or the videos won't load. This means it takes an hour to make a video that should only take 2 minutes to make. Not worth it. I want a refund!!!

Fun but a little low brow. I love playing with this app and subscribe almost every. They have a huge inventory but the themes remain pretty trashy. I love making a fool of myself in the name of a good time as much as the next guy and can "usually" find something usable. If they could offer more options appealing to those who live outside the trailer park I'd give jibjab a solid 6 out of 5.

Very limited topic choices. Plus, when you try different topics to identify what videos might be candidates. The videos are repetitive on most topics. I strongly recommend that you support your creative team to expand topics and new videos, ecards, etc. I refuse to keep sending the same video after the first time I used it. It would make me look like I am unable to remember what I already sent to them. It makes me look so bad. I am extremely disappointed in JibJab.

For the price of subscription I'd at least expect an app that can function at its most basic level without crashing on a top of the line phone. Questionable practices on the subscription page not allowing a monthly subscription option but displaying pricing for it. This has app store slumlord written all over it. I was able to make one video with it, which was all I really wanted in the first place. $36 lesson for me.

Would have given 5 stars but you have to download the app if you want the option to subscribe on a monthly basis. If you subscribe via the website, you're only able to do so on a yearly basis. This distinction needs to be made much clearer on the JibJab website without having to scour the TOS & faqs. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my year's worth of laughs. Also, don't forget to turn off your subscription's automatic renewal.

I'd give this app 5 stars except for it is very frustrating. When you're browsing for a card , the app freeze up. & says JibJab is not responding. Your choices are "wait", "close app", or "report issue". Reporting does no good, to wait, good luck, it may work again in the next few days, so close it and start all over. Time consuming, happens over & over in a row. issue 2: The music is way outdated. From the 80s & older. Can we please have music from this century?and I'll stay subscribed.

Meh 😒. Thought it was cute after a quick once-over and got excited to try it, but maybe the idea of over 1500 videos seems misleading to me. There may actually BE that many, but it seems like I can only ever see the same 50 or so videos. Annoyed I paid for a whole year. Turned off my renewal already (after less than 2 weeks). Wish there was a trial period, and if there was I just missed out, I guess.. Some of the videos are cute, but I have 3 kids and can't often "cast" that many characters.

Creative and so funny! Would be helpful if videos could be saved for future access. Also, would be easier to use if you could return where you left off when sampling videos, too much time having to scroll down. Tried to get answers to the above but Help not useful. Regardless, love this site!

It's generally a fun app to use. Songs were shorter than I remembered from years ago. Down side: it takes the last face you've used for the previews of all the videos that you see when you open the app. Some videos, though comical, are also sexual, and it was uncomfortable to see "myself" doing inappropriate things on videos, or worse yet, my kids, or my Mom. Couldn't see way to opt out of having those videos previewed when I opened the app, so I deleted it.

the app works exactly like it's supposed to, for me, so far. to the people complaining about the deletion of their videos, the way to get around that is to chop it up into about 15-20 second clips, if they're longer that. this applies only to the videos. their "clips" section worked fine for me. no problems posting to IG.

I'm trying to make a 5-person video for my daughter's birthday but every time I finish the "smile" part and click on load, it tells me "Uh-oh! We were unable to update your face. Please check your internet connection and try again." My internet connection is fine, so I try again and get the same message. I disconnect from my wifi to use data and get the same message. I googled to see the issue & it says to disable the ad blockers but I can't find a Settings tab to do that. It's very frustrating.

It's a little confusing sometimes at first on the app, because it's different than the website. BUT THE MAIN PROBLEM IS THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE MATERIAL considering I pay for this. If you don't add more material, I'm going to set my annual sub to end. I've already expended many of the good videos. There needs to be more overall, including other categories. And honestly, you should separate the .gifs from videos because it's hard to separate. There should be two different categories.

UPDATE :NOW CANNOT ADD ANY FACES. The app is great but one thing is EXTREMELY frustrating... Why do you have to get stuck on the same page when downloading a video. You should be able to do other things while it download (like Facebook does, or other apps like whatsapp, or orctext message ) You are stuck watching the download progress ("creating magic" ) icon and if you change the page you have to restart. So VERY frustrating I'll update my review to a 5 stars when this will be fixed. Thanks

Until this new update, I loved JibJab. Easy to use. Videos I made always automatically uploaded to Google Photos for easy sharing. Not now, though. I have nothing uploading to Google Photos nor to Amazon photos. Furthermore, the app shows videos I have made, but I cannot view them nor forward them. The only option given by the app is to Delete them, which I don't want to do. Get to work and fix this, guys. Otherwise, I'll be cancelling my account and moving on. I've already missed birthdays.
