most people dont respond on the app. its free to respond. more annoyed with the people on the app. however it doesn't always work. usually turning on and off the phone work. it randomly logs me out every once in awhile. just annoying to log back in. also when they updated they took away who you knew in common. really miss that feature especially with Jewish geography.

Was good for a little until i randomly got logged out. Since then i havent been able to log back in it always says "error". Ive tried everything from deleting facebook permissions, and other things they reccomend. Nothing worked! I tried creating a new account and it says "error" everytime. It really makes me uncomfortable that I have a profile there im not in control of!!! Major bug that needs to be fixed

The chat is horrendous. It glitches constantly and is honestly just unattractive. Messages will pop up out of order and notifications will arrive after the message has already been replied to. why do i need a time stamp between every single message. And why it can't look more sleek and consolidated like other apps. People messaged me saying they saw me on the app when they are 100% not within my preferences. When I change my mile radius and immediately match with people - so I appear for them?

The app still has a ton of bugs. Once I start chatting with someone I can't get back to the person's profile. Never had that issue on ios. Apparently android users don't matter to jswipe. Super Swipes have a constant countdown that never actually allows me to use this feature. It has been at least weeks since one was available to use. Pictures don't load. Sometimes I just get a black screen and the app doesn't load. How this company can put out such an unpolished product and seriously expect people to sign up for a premium membership is beyond me.

Edit: No fixes for 5 months now. I dont understand why they don't rollback the updates. Tinder for Jews...Used to be good, but app has become buggy in the latest android updates. Pictures are upload sideways, broken distance filter, and forgetting login information. I have reinstalled the app, and not even a new phone (s10) fixed these issues. If you read recent reviews, these bugs have been widely reported for over two months now with no fixes or version rollbacks.

Awful. No updates or fixes. The notifications issue has been the same for over a year now. Trash app. Constantly logs you out. Doesn't give a notifications. Doesn't save your preferences. Doesn't save pictures on the first upload. What more detail do you want? This application is absolute garbage.

Glitchiest app of all time. The idea is great and even the layout, but I messages sometimes don't send for over a week, I need to log in every time I open the app, and the preferences always reset. Plus, just now it's not even letting me sign in, it's just bringing me to Facebook home page and not doing a thing! Right when I had a few new matches too 🙃🤦♂️

Close to useless, countless old/fake profiles, app unstable (freezes often), messages appear/disappear seemingly at random, mendacious description of paid services, hopeless customer service Update. Almost no Matches for weeks, then 30+ in 24 hours, oddly just before my subscription expires. With my terrible experience, this smacks of cynical manipulation.

Thanks for the feedback!*** FIX THE APP AND REFUND MY MONEY!!!! I have had a terrible experience with this app. I previously posted that it is super glitchy. I don't want to repeat all of the other complaints posted by others, but they are accurate. The app is terrible - development stinks, location is way off, photos can't be uploaded properly, etc. I was dumb enough to pay for the paid version. In early January, I canceled my paid subscription and deleted the app. Yesterday, I noticed that I was charged $45 for the next 3 months. When I contacted Customer Service, they refused to issue a refund, claiming that it is Google's responsibility to do so, as JSwipe does "not have the authority" to cancel subscriptions to their own app or to issue a refund. Be wary! The app sucks. The paid app is a waste of money. And if you want to cancel, you need to do so through Google - canceling in the app itself is not enough! What a scam!

Edit June 19 Keeps crashing. My criticism from years ago still applies. Its like no one ever read it XX I like the concept, but this needs a lot of work. I've selected a 50 mile radius and sometimes get matches 2000+ miles away. I'd like to see the option of kosher at home added. And whether or not someone has kids or wants kids, etc. And whether or not someone is a smoker. It would make it easier to select a potential match from the get go rather than waste each other's time.

Terrible Service. I'm logged out every time I close the app. My messages sometimes don't send. No notifications. I kept thinking I was being ghosted by women after 24 hours. Turns out I'm actually just not getting their messages! Confirmed that they never arrive after 1 day of chatting. I paid for premium and am extremely disappointed with the lack of development for simple features. Absolutely terrible service. Uninstalling and reinstalling does absolutely nothing.

For a free app with almost no ads that also caters to a relatively small user base, JSwipe is decent and functional. I often have to refresh the screen on the chat tab in order to see recent conversations that initially seem to have vanished. I don't always get a pop-up notifcation when I recieve a message on the app. Sometimes, the app shows that I have multiple matches and chats when I actually have zero. It's not the best dating app, but I think it serves the purpose of connecting Jews.

I read a lot of reviews before installing this app and...with guarded optimism, I gave it a try. The filters are worthless, especially where it comes to distance. I have tried all up to 50 miles and seem to only get matches that are over 100 miles or more, none less than that. Do not get me wrong, there are some beautiful women up in the LA area, but the distance is too great. So disappointing that such a basic function does not work. Time to get new programmers!

notifications of messages open the app at the main page, not the message itself. opening every message from a notification is an exercise and relaunching the app at the main page and then navigating manually, keeping in mind who the notification was from so that you can open the right message. poor design. it does not seem attractive or up to par with other dating apps in terms of functionality. The price to get anything but the basic functions is really high by comparison.

Biggest issue I have is that the distance choices are inflexible. It gives you a choice of 20 miles away and then jumps straight to 50. That's a huge difference! To give you and example, for me that brings in NYC, which is too far from me and increases the potential matches to sort through tenfold. Why not do 5 mile increments? Or 1 mile like most apps?

It has become a horrible useless app! Even on a 100 miles radius, the choices have become very limited, the pictures do not update and the app malfunctions! Worst part, their cust service is absolutely non existent even for paying members. Waste of time :( UPDATE: now down to 1 star and that is too much for it! This app has become ridiculous & useless! It does not send messages, matches do not match correctly & selecti. The daily star & email option no longer working & everyone is leaving app!

Requires FB login now. I also uses your profile data from FB and won't allow you to change that information in the app. If you want to change things like languages, current city, interests, etc. you have to change it on FB and press an update button. I don't use my FB and the app is a hassle to use. I never had a good experience with the app anyways.

Big fan of this app and its cause. Only problem is it stopped working on Android 3-4 releases ago. The last release really killed it (see bugs below). PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY before people abandon your app. I work in app development for some major products in market and don't know how these critical bugs passed QA and Product Acceptance. Mind boggling that a hotfix hasn't been released. Tested the release on Samsung Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S5, and an emulator. Good customer support in terms of response time and confirming the issue(s), but no indication of timing of resolution or options to notify people I'm talking to so it doesn't look like I'm ghosting. ISSUES: 1. After matching with someone, if you send them a message and they respond, you can access their message once and then it disappears. The count on the messages tab shows a count, however the matches are invisible. I currently have multiple open conversations I can't see and this delay in being able to respond does not look good/invalidates key core functionality. 2) When updating preferences to worldwide, it defaults you back to 5miles and doesn't save the change 3) Picture cropping feature does not save

The app crops my photos so severely as to cut off important body parts, such as my head. The concept seems to be good. There are very few prospects signed up in my area, though. I found it somewhat difficult to learn to use. There is no help button. I still don't really understand some of the buttons.

Very limited conversations. You have no idea if somebody's online or not. Seems like a very outdated old school app. Very rarely do I ever encounter any type of conversation on this app and I've been using it for more than a year. Deleting it at this moment after a year I was hoping they would improve but apparently nobody cares here. Sad.
