I haven't had a huge need for SSH access from mobile, but started using this client several years back and haven't considered using anything else; it just works perfectly, is well laid out, and has many usefully features and capabilities right up front. The recent addition of dark mode support completely sealed this as perfect for my needs and I have to hesitation in recommending to anyone looking for a great SSH client tool for Android.

This is pending more use for now but i was running a command in a different ssh app that suddenly decided to hit me with an ad. I found this app and not one peep about ads anywhere. The other app didn't have an ad free option. So yeah. This app was well rated, easy to get setup with my locally hosted ddns accessed web host via different port and it even logged in automatically. The other app didn't. So at this point I'm happy to say glad i tried this one

I really love this app, except... Except possibly the most annoying bug ever. Scrolling up through the backlog often resets back to the bottom. This is a MAJOR issue when trying to analyze a partial tcpdump or dmesg log. I tried reaching out to the dev by email and got no response. I had other questions too, and a couple minor things. I bought Pro and it's worth it. But sometimes I HAVE to load up Termius to analyze log files because the scrolling reset. Hope the dev sees this.

Excellent SSH app. I love the support for connecting to a server via another ssh connection, since this allows me to reach my servers that are behind the network firewall. I only wish it had add-ons for tmux and screen: it would be nice to swipe between the screens, and automatically enter scrollback when I scroll up. I usually use this app just to check on things that are running, not to actually accomplish tasks.

The new copy/paste is harder to use--I cannot sucessfully copy something from left edge of screen. Also, I miss clickable links. This is THE best SSH client for Android. Mosh is awesome--your open connection is maintained across network changes, roaming seemlessly between Wi-Fi and mobile data without breaking. Use together with Hacker's Keyboard and you can program on your phone.

Just fantastic. I had Juice many years ago on a tablet. Forgot how well done this app is. Now I'm using it again to manage a couple servers from my very small screen S9 Samsung phone where Termux just wasnt cutting it. I'm blown away all over again—solar theme, volume button zoom, the keyboard action... Clean, beautiful, intuitive. I love it. Also going to use it on a new Chrome tablet and Play Store enabled Chromebook.

This app is my favorite SSH app I have come across. I really like how I can automatically connect to a server through another server. Useful for when you only port forward to one of your computers but you still want to work on another one when you're on the go. I also really like the idea of the plugins. Someone should make a plugin for a file transfer protocol like SFTP or SCP or something. But that's the beauty of it. It looks like anyone can! Love this app.

Freakin' AWESOME! I purchased this WAY back, and stopped using in 2014 when I had issues on my device. Now several phones later I gave it a go again. It recognized my purchase and unlocked pro, then loaded all my snippets, giving me EVERY server I has configured SIX YEARS ago! UNBELIEVABLE! Seriously, one of the best purchases I've made for Android.

I. Love. This. App. It is the best SSH app I've used on a move device. It just works and it works well. My only gripe is that if new lines are being added, you lose your place on the screen if you've scrolled up. No other SSH client I've used has this "problem." It'd be helpful for autoscrolling to disable itself when scrolled up. side from that, the app is perfect. Another big plus: keeping the SSH session available in the background so you can phone and not lkse your place. Perfect! Thanks!

Disconnects quickly. Maybe 5 minutes? I can connect to the same device from other clients, same network, no problem. The various port forwards and/or ssh terminal sessions simply stop working. No good for me. And I paid for the pro version. Edit: Termius works perfectly, though...too bad. I like this app better. Would use it if it worked.

It works everytime! I like the plugin feature. Great price for full product features. This free version is all you might need. No ads. The developers appear upbeat and the FAQ's page answers all the questions completely, provides relevant references to learn more, and best of all they invite you the help them make a better product. Good luck.

Was just wondering, what a time to be alive (what previously used to be somewhat painful to do on even a desktop) is so easy on a smartphone. But JuiceSSH has a major role in that. Everything is intuitive and also just works, want to exit? There's the Ctrl key and then d and you are out, want to port forward? It connects and even can open the browser I think. Identities import and export work's like a charm. I love the app, upgrade to the paid version was a no brainer. ❤️

Edit: While this is generally a good app, I found a bug with how hardware tabs are displayed beyond 80 columns, reported it, and never received a response. I need to lower my rating until the support response and bugs are fixed. -------- Excellent SSH client. I use this app constantly, and is rock solid.

Knocked off a star. Only thing I want is to have ONE row at top of keyboard for functions instead of two. Please let me customize that. I don't use it often enough but I want to support this app so I will purchase. Edit: I noticed not compatible with Android 7 so can't use on my tablet, using another app now and I like using the same apps on both devices. Also the fonts don't resize well in the app when increased in android display settings, cuts off everything.

I really liked this app. The advanced connection configuration options (proxy connections, script execution, etc.) is what, for me, really set it apart from the other clients & even convinced me to purchase the Pro version. Edit: Seems the devs have returned to supporting the app and previous issues seem resolved. Thrilled to see bugs ironed out!

This app was showing promise, the app has been abandoned. Great automation and multitasking capabilities, the Pro version features are worth it. Though the user interfaces needs a few tweaks. Option for other different main UI theme as other SSH client apps from other developers have this option, as yellow and white can be quite a glare. Although the app adopts the UI material design guidelines, the app interface is showing its age. Sorting of connections would also be very helpful.

Still one of the best SSH clients. I setup logins, client=>servers and port-forwards to tunnel & allow RDP from Android to PC(s). ... Unfortunately it's been abandoned since 2021. I paid for the Pro features but they've since made that available to everybody. I understand it's hard to make money from apps either as one price or as a subscription. I've emailed the authors suggesting obfuscation--which I've never found on any Android client--to make SSH tunneling less detectable but they declined.

Time to move on to another app! Had to decrease my rating to 1 star. The bug I'm facing makes this IMPOSSIBLE to use. I haven't got any response either when I emailed support a few times. It looks like development and support for this is DEAD. On my Pixel 3, a Control key is pressed somewhere which makes a > char appear under the cursor and pressing the control button built in the UI won't turn off the control key. I have to exit the shell everytime to be able to type things in again.

Edit: fantastic support and fix. Back to 5 stars. OP: I have had the pro version for a long time primarily for the socks port forwarding the app allows. It was simple and did it's job. Since the recent updates, this functionality no longer works. This needs to be addressed immediately or have an option to roll back versions. Edit: On closer review , the tunnel seems to last briefly once established and then is unusable after about 30 seconds.

This is a really good SSH client with the exception of it occasionally freezing. When this happens you have to close the app out and open it back up then reconnect. It would also be nice if I could use swipe and speech to text like I can on my regular keyboard. Overall though it's a great app!
