The app won't let you log in using a subscription you purchased on their website at all. Only allows you to purchase new subscription. And then when using the service from the website the videos download onto your phone with a length of 0:00 seconds and are unplayable. I'm willing to change the review. you pay money it will get struck. They have made policy such that, even Google play can't help. Don't get trapped. My money get deducted. Still unable to use the privileges.

I want to caption videos for TikTok. The speech to text feature is the best I've seen so far. However, even when I film horizontal it adds to the sides so the video is wide. Won't work for TikTok. Also you can't move the text, its at the bottom which also won't work for TikTok. For YouTube or some other app this would work great.

Does not detect text automatically too well. Had to manually enter text and in the end was asked to pay for the video in order to get it without a watermark. Which is fine but once I paid the amount was debited and the video wasn't unlocked. The same amount was credited shortly after but I lost a couple hours manually entering those subtitles and still having no video :(

This is an incredible app indeed, very easy to use. I love it. I will however, give five star when you add a feature where a person can highlight one part of a text without changing the whole subtitle colour.

I think it is a good app, it does assist and help with the caption. Majority of the time it is accurate, but you still have to review it because some words it translates wrong. Also one more thing I think would be great is to give the option to translate and remove the original language subtitles. I have translated from Portuguese to English and cannot remove the Portuguese ones. Apart from that, great app! 👍

Used it once for a short clip, thought it was good. Went back in later to do another slightly longer video only for the app to freeze and crash right at the very end, losing everything I'd amended in the captions. To add insult to injury it then told me I'd done my maximum two videos for the day unless I pay for the app - even though I only actually got to finish and save one of them. A 50% success rate and then shutting the doors is not the way to convince people to part with their money.

Unfortunately, the subtitle translation was very poor, unacceptable. I did not use the app after this. I just tried to get a refund, but since I tried AFTER 2 days (as I was waiting for a reply from Kaptioned email support that I still have not received almost a week later), I did not get a refund for an app that did not work as expected

Really annoying. Worked great for 1 video before I paid a years subscription. Now it does what it wants. Its takes me 40 minutes to edit a 2 minute video, I have to put all the subs in manually as it doesn't recognise my voice, and after all that it doesn't save and disappears. 40 minutes of my life lost and no video to show for it. That's happened more than once now. Not showing in drafts or anything. I would really like a refund.

Didn't work! I added the right subtitles to my videoduring 2 hours, paid for the app and when I wanted to save the video, it didn't work... very annoying! Update: I don't really know, how I can be more specific, as I didn't get any information from the app... I saved the video with the created subtitle, but nothing happened, it showed just 0% after about 10 hours processing (I left the app to be working in a whole evening).

This is not a free app and they'll limit your ability to caption videos to 2 per 24 hrs - they say it's up to 20 mins but my 2 videos totaled less than 3 minutes - and then push you to pay for a subscription. And considering it's not the best software in the first place and lack features that other paid apps provide I don't suggest it at all. They only replied to me to push me to pay for further access and called me a "power user". For two one minute videos. 1/10

The apps is great while you're creating the captions but once your done if you pay for the watermark free video, the app loads the video and freezes once the video is done loading. If you hit the back button or refresh, it will say your video will not be saved. However, if you leave it on the same frozen page, it will eventually close the app still not saving your finished video or draft. Not functional as I see another review saying the same thing happened. Uninstalling.

Downloaded to my Google pixel and wanted to caption 4 short clips for IG Story. After doing 3 vids, it shut me out for hitting the max threshold. The videos outputted were poor quality. It chopped off a bit from the top and bottom of frame including part of the caption. In addition it saved 2 of them as slow motion?? I did not select that as an option. The videos rendered are useless to me and a waste of my time. Bringing this to the developers attn to fix these bugs as well.

so far so good. a little aggravating but it may be user issues. editing is a little painstaking but it has a lot easier learning curve than the other 3 I tried. pretty sure I'm stuck with it. overall ease of using is good and not over priced. that said I have around 35 more music videos of me that need subtitles. I'll keep a bottle of aspirin around just in case.....lolol

One of the BEST and most correct subtitling apps there is (trust me I have tried over 15) and this was by far my favorite. MY ONLY DISLIKE IS HOW you have to edit the video by clicking on the words, and it's scolling at the same time. I could stop it but it's still kind of awkward. I STILL give it 5 stars because it is the most accurate subtitling app I have found.

I'm willing to change the review if their customer service comes through but so far the free preview has been by far the best part of the app. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Okay I've been using this for a couple days and the interface is fantastic easy to use. Very easy to figure out although I would like some more settings maybe possibly the ability to make choices on font size and color and background default. Because if there is I have not noticed a way to do that I would like that very much. And yes I paid for the year of subscription so I'm not just saying without paying. Thank you so much have a wonderful day

I love to use in this app to make my videos more accessible. Adding and adjusting the captions is a piece of cake. The only issues I've had is after I have finished captioning a video realizing I mean mistaken having to start over I wish there was a way to edit after that point or save and go back. I'm using in free mode which means I get three videos a day just pretty reasonable.

The first video captioned is free. Then you have to pay, either by single video ($2.99) or by a monthly payment subscription ($6.99). It crashed a couple of times while editing the captions, so the work is lost when that happens. Due to this issue it's better to copy the edited text in a provisional document so if it crashes you don't have to redo the whole thing. The developers should add an autosave feature. Like a saved draft and try to correct the crashing problem. My phone is a Samsung S10

POS app I had all of a minute long video, not even actually. Every time I went to go and process and finalize introduce the video with the captions, the app would crash around 10% I would not advise you use this app. I love the fact that you can move the text to a different part of the video but the app crashing when trying to produce the video and download it to my phone is a big no

Though it sometimes recognizes words better than other apps, the usability is worse. I can't figure out how to adjust timing of captions and most annoying is that if you change the screen (like open a different app or check a message) while it's processing (which can take a full minute or two) you lose it entirely. It's hard to refind it in drafts because the screens show black and shows out of order. If you try to reupload the video it tells you you can't do anymore because there's a limit.
