Step 1: Visit the Katapult marketplace and choose where you want to shop from your favorite online retailers*.
Step 2: Take advantage of $300 to $3,000 in shopping strength.
Get pre-approved to know how much you can spend, or just begin adding qualifying products to your cart. You may then apply (if you haven't already), and if approved sign your agreement, and make your first payment.
Step 3: Use Katapult to check out.
Select Katapult as the payment option in checkout. Start your lease-purchase application and once approved get the flexibility to pay over time, purchase early or even return your items. Katapult … a better way to pay.
Katapult cannot be used for every transaction, only specified items are eligible. The browser extension for Katapult cannot be used to make in-store transactions.
The path to ownership will cost more than the merchant’s cash price. Not available in MN, NJ, WI, WY. Depending on your state, the stated transaction is a rental-purchase deal (rent-to-own agreement, consumer rental-purchase agreement, or lease/lease-purchase agreement) with Katapult. It is not necessary to be an owner. You will not own the goods until you have paid in full the whole amount required to obtain ownership or you exercise your early purchase option. Payment amounts and rental terms may be found in your lease agreement.
The phrase "No Credit Option" indicates that this is not a credit, loan, or financing transaction. It does not indicate or suggest that no check into credit history or creditworthiness will be undertaken. I gave this one star because i don't think you can do no stars! I can't even get the app to run. I have tried to install 3 separate times and never get past entering my phone number before I get an error message stating that something is wrong with my internet connection. I never have problems with any other app, not a single one, and I have a few!

I have successfully completed two lease purchases and am currently on my third. I have ordered mattresses, beds, major appliances, and more. The monthly payment plans, which are automatically deducted, are so convenient for me because it seems so many places are doing away with layaway. I will continue to use them for my purchases.

Stupid System, When I tried making a purchase and tried to make the initial payment their lousy system said my bank card was a "prepaid". So couldn't use Their system even though I had a legit bank card. Just gave up at that point. Keep in mind if you can't payout early, in 3 months you'll end up paying double. So if your info checks out make sure to pay out in 90 days or less!

So I made my first payment early, but it still shows I've made zero payments and the next payment date hasn't updated. When going online I see that the amount went to my suspense balance, my understanding is that the next scheduled payment will come out of that balance. I'm not sure, but seems a little bit sketchy right now. Will update review score depending on what happens.

I've never had issues with the app till now, I've leased and bought twice without any problems but trying to buy a third time on Amazon and when checking out the cart will stay stuck there, I've waited over 30 min while it says validating cart and nothing... Not sure if it's a problem only with Amazon, since I usually would use for Wayfair, or what but usually checkout is quick and easy and I've tried several times with no progress...

I have been experiencing HARRASSEMENT from this company as this site is garbage! I sent text messages, and I waited 30+ minutes in a chat room for support for nothing! I had to delete this app, reinstall go through so many twists, and turns to finally make a payment on an account that has NEVER had any problems, and my payments have always been on time! As my account is set to automatically deduct payments! I did have to get a new debit card, and in doing so, I went to their app & changed!!

Error message I have uninstall and reinstall this app several times due to the something is wrong with your internet connection. My internet is working just fine. I had tried using this app in another location and still get the same message. Either I'm able to get pass the sign in screen to checkout. And it will not complete the transaction.

This service and app are extremely unreliable. You have to re-sign in and verify your phone number Anytime you click on anything. It only seems to work on Wayfair, because it's built into their financing options. everything else returns errors at different points in the process. I'm not sure this is a trust worthy company based on their support and very bad app and service.

Continously crashing. I've been using this app for a while now, it hasn't done this until recently. I Uninstalled it then re-download it to see if that helped and it did not. If you could fix that bug it would be a really fine app. Simple to navigate. Simple to purchase and apply. Simple to pay. The having to keep pressing the back button to clear the " something went wrong " screen just to navigate or finish a payment is irritating.

Was going great....until it wasn't!!! Had a lot of available credit, looked into payment amounts for a purchase a week or two ago but didn't complete it, now all of a sudden all of my credit is gone. Found a once ever deal on something I could really use and now I can't be approved any longer! It doesn't make sense, nothing's changed with me and I have never used the service. It's just really frustrating knowing I have been approved for such a long time and when I finally go to use it I cant

The idea is good, and I have had successful leases with them, but the actual app is horrible. Whoever designed and coded the app needs to be fired. It makes you re-login every time you open it, sometimes within the same hour. It has way too much trouble validating carts, even when there are no un-leasable items. That support chat is almost completely broken. The app glitches or self-closes constantly. Payments/number of payments don't show up properly, and the app is overall difficult to use.

I wouldn't suggest leasing through them at all. If you're attempting to add additional items or accessories to a cart and pay them all off with the lease you're applying for, and the main item you're leasing gets canceled, you're out your $90 filing fee if you choose to cancel those other items. Even if those items are less than the $90 filing fee. You're cancelling, "because you feel like it." Definitely yells "scam" to me.

Ridiculous error messages. What is up with your app!!! I've been using it for several months now. And EVERY TIME I launch the app it gives an error message. I can't even put the 6 digit code in because it keeps giving error message. There is nothing wrong with my internet, the app is updated. What is going on? Sssooo frustrating.

Something is up with your app crashing constantly. None of my other apps do this. I've installed and uninstalled. Keeps saying internet issue. I can't say anything negative about the program, you can pay off early to avoid tons of interest. But they want the people that don't pay it off, be careful. It does work great, especially for people that may need tires or something that can be a big deal for many families financially. But use it right or this is one headache you'll never get rid of.

I am never able to complete an order without calling customer service! The app glitches. During Amazon Prime Day the app would not validate my cart because it said my total was not 150 or over. My total was 280. So, I called customer service only to be told they were closed. I lost the deal of something I have been watching for months!

Well aware of their practices, even if you familiarize yourself with the contract, they will try and get you for more in other ways. Customer Service is awful, I have been on the phone with them probably 12 times. payments will randomly double for the month, stay far away. you will probably be OK if you pay off within 90 days, but in the end, they own your checking account for the next year.

I decided to use Katapult to finally get a computer. It's nice to be able to make monthly payments to pay for your products. The reason I'm giving it three stars is if you don't pay it off early you pay way more then the purchase. That's the only thing that irrates me. My purchase was 1600 and if I don't pay it off early by September 9th I have to pay 3000 instead. That's really not fair or right. I'm going to get them paid off and definitely won't be using them again.

The app works fine. The service itself is inconsistent. You can have over $1000 in credit, never have been late on a previous payment but still get declined for a purchase. Their customer service is horrible. The good side is that I've been able to make a few large purchases when I didn't have the money upfront.

You app has been great until it made me update. Then I couldn't log in. The button looked as if I already clicked on it but I hadn't. I uninstalled it then reinstalled. I am able to log in but it wants access to my camera!! Why? Why does it keep insisting on having access to my camera and video!?!? I uninstalled again and reinstalled I was able to make a payment but for some reason now it is not validating my carts.

I like to try to be fair with the reviews I give. Hopefully, I can do so here. Pros: No credit check. Fast payment for goods. Decent customer service. Cons: Extortion level interest. Think paying $2500 for $1200. Have to agree to it, though, so 🤷 Lease not loan. Have to hit that buyout while you can, or you'll pay over 2x more. Payments are every 2 weeks instead of 1x/month, which makes life hard. Only like 10% goes to principal. Overall, don't use if it can be avoided. It's no worth.
