I've only used the free stuff, and I've been using it wrong (trying to scan my own face by flipping the phone around) and it's still working pretty good. I like it.

Easy to use app. Renders models accurately and realistically in app view node. However.. I'm only giving it 3 stars due to the fact that when you export the model to use in say, Unity or Unreal Engine, the model looks horrible. Jagged edges. Horrible texturing etc. Why is that? It even happens on Pro Mode? Plz fix this.

It's not letting me register an account. Doesn't let me sign in via Google either. Can't do anything without an account and I cannot register.

I'm very impressed, this worked way better than I expected and will try for a dew more things but genuinely impressed from the first 10 minutes use which equals 3 scans

Terrible rendering. What makes this app really bad is that it isn't the poor quality...it's the lack of transparency over cancellation of the subscription.

Bought a subscription and used GoPro to take videos. After saving one video in the Downloads folder and uploading it to KIRI, I couldn't find the folder. The app seems to delete the whole folder. I couldn't comprehend where my folder had gone, next day I saved a new video in Photos and after uploading it, all my photos were gone! So, I tried uploading one more model to confirm what I see: every time I upload a model, the folder with video and all of its content is gone forever! Very disappointed

A wonderful, useful app that has helped me visualize my furniture designs within 3d spaces. Thank you!!! I really appreciate the people at Kiri Engine for offering this app free and providing an easy way to pay for add ons and premium features. No annoying ads. Great job!

Bad. Only 3dgs worked (as in, wasnt unusable), but then will only let me export as ply, and 3d viewers can't open it. Then also I can't crop it, the done button is faded out. The 3d navigation is unintuitive. I want my money back. Don't buy this, it's awful.

This program is easy to use, has a great community, and an awesome staff behind itself. I,ve been using this app for game related content, and all its features is to much to list in this post. But just a taste of it, you can get your 3d scans in an great quad mesh with pbr textures in a single click. No fuss or extra work, just add it into your game engine

Really was hoping after watching several YouTube videos talking about this app it would work as easy as they showed it. No luck for me. I tried a few times and I'll have to figure something else out. I really don't want to pay for something that doesn't show results without paying for it in basic mode. Not impressed unfortunately.

This worked great for scanning bouldering problems! It does not seem to be possible to download the images after you've uploaded the project, though (Which is fair enough).

Very bad program. Almost useless. I make perfect photos with green background and cannot process it. Always failed or if succeeded the 3D model is terrible, poligons wrecked. Also quad mesh is a lie. I paid for it and I have to wait a lot of queuing, no quad mesh models as it promised and terrible useless quality of models scanned. Don't pay for it.

Changing my initial review form 1 star to 4 stars, because the developers listened to me and did implement some minor improvements to the web app. There are still UI/UX problems, but given the fact that they plan to release a complete overhauled web version, I am happy with what there is right now and willing to wait. (This review relates ONLY to the web app layout. The app's functionality and results a top – 5-star level!)

it's optionally free, but allows to use photogrammetry with export without paying. paid is cheaper than getting a 3d scanner. Said that you need to scale things to match, and I really wish they could implement some sort of calculations based on known parameters of cameras - lens angle vs captured size in frame and distortion with distance. Also using phone's tof sensors could also help measure object size from multiple photos.

Excellent app for 3D scanning matted objects. Had some excellent results with a very quick processing time. It doesn't handle any kind of reflective surface well, which does limit its uses, but I foresee this becoming less and less of an issue. a greater photo limit will also help with creating more detailed models but 200 is still plenty for a good model.

The Kiri engine is an app that I have been looking for for a long time. As someone who is terrible at 3d modeling, this is an incredibly useful tool. Every app I've seen like this has gone out of business, but this one looks like it might last. The free tier is great for trying out what the app has to offer, and the paid tier has good pricing. There are a few issues, but they have more to do with technical limitations than anything else, like producing bad results on reflective materials.

Stuck processing Just paid 39.99 because the features looked great - I started two scans (one nerf and one 3d object) they've been processing for over an hour. I've done two scans in reality capture and polycam while waiting for this. This app looks great but I might have to ask for a refund because there is no ETA or indication of progress. :/

Would be better if it saved recorded inputs. I'd also love to not randomly be logged out. I spent time capturing a scan, uploaded it, then the app asked me to login and I can't find my scan anywhere. It wouldn't have mattered if I could tell the app to save inputs but I can't so I lost my scan entirely. Really expensive for it to be this glitchy.

This is the most phenomenal 3D scanning app ever made. And it's really cheap too. It's just $60 for the whole year on pro mode (with unlimited scans and exports). There's a free version too. The scans are better than anything I've ever seen on a smartphone. They approach the quality you could get with an expensive 3D scanner. But the best part is that you can submit any photos or videos, even those that are sent to you to use.
