This app already got on my bad side when it prevented me from going to some of my favorite websites, therefore I had to go through the trouble of getting it otherwise, I'm shut out of them even of its SUPPOSED to just be a digital drivers liscence. When I did download it and had to go through the verification, it would never send me the code needed to proceed. I WOULD REFRESH ONLY TO NOT GET THE CODE OVER AND OVER! Starting the year with a banger I see...

I think this is a great app, it is very useful!! Due to alot of people go places and forget their license but have they phone. It will also help identify the fake covid card holders that are out here. I believe the state should take the LA Wallet only when checking for Covid vaccinations. Also, when creating an account, scan the barcode on back of license. It has to be your most recent license. (It will be quicker) You will not have any issues trying to complete your account with a current ID

LA Wallet app was very easy to install, create account, add LA Drivers License ID, and Louisiana Department of Health SMART Health Card. It was super simple to have the app scan the back of my ID and auto-populate the form. I only had to do a very minor change in the form. To have your Covid-19 vaccination record display, you must add your ID. Once you do, it was just two clicks for LA Wallet to connect to LDH and display my records. The records are encrypted and display as a QR code that can only be read by registered accounts. The best thing about this app is that the display of the app is free, for now. I hope that it stays that way!

It started out a great app. Now, it keeps telling me three of my vehicles registration is expired. I've sent photos of my current registrations and have tried to contact someone for months now with no help or replies. Made special trip to local DMV to check my registration status and they say I'm good. Deleting this app.

This is supposed to be for verification, not just driving. It is the app they are using for age verification with businesses. This app only allows you to use a drivers license, so if you only have a government I.D. you cannot go through this. Despite for the business itself, only a government I.D. is required, you cannot operate like this. You've voided the business revenue for all avenues only using an Identity card. I think you could make a gateway for not a drivers license though.

Fast developer response to issues.! Contact form on website doesn't work. Issues.... Android. December 22 uodate killed biometric prompt on Pixel 3a android 11. I've toggled it in the settings but the biometric prompt still doesn't show. Also on the page where the ID is shown, there are three buttons on the right, the last button is halfway obscured. It's been that way for a very long time. I've email you about before but I never get a response.

Best idea ever! I can't wait to see how this app evolves and I hope they will include our car registration as well as insurance card link up. I will save a lot of time during a really stressful time, such as in the case of an accident. Hopefully the state of Louisiana sets the standard for this benefit AND it goes nationwide with use in each state, as well as interstate use.

I was never able to install the information needed. It just kept telling me an error had occurred. Useless. When I called the number others have been given on this site, I would get a message, put on hold, then it would disconnect. The did contact me by email, told me to check my wifi connection and get back to them if it didn't work. It didn't, I did, and they never contacted me again.

I love this app ,just wish we could add a few more items to it like our car insurance and house taxes or income tax information Medicare cards other than that I love the app

Updating my review since 2019 , its 2024 , great app its only improved over the years, but have a request if possible, a way of making it or being able to use it during the today's numerous having to do KYC verifications , everyone is doing it now and gets annoying doing multiple ones , but instead somehow using the la wallet to prove on KYC verification instead ????

What a suprise. A Louisiana system doesn't work at all. It will not except remote codes. It doesn't except out of state drivers licenses. Just like Louisiana govt, to be the oppression keeping us from doing simple things required for a quality of life. Garbage app.

A lot of the options do not work. For me, Healthly Louisiana and healthcare plan do not work. The app states app needs an update, but it's already updated.

Don't see the purpose of the app if no one excepts LA Wallet. Especially if it's supposed to make things convenient for people but it only makes things worse and a waste of time. Because you go somewhere expecting for them to except it, but only end up having a set back becyniw you have to get the physical card anyway. Again, this app is bs

I've been using LA wallet for years without a problem and on May 31st of this year I got a new Louisiana ID card because I do not have a driver's license, it showed up almost immediately on La wallet and now nothing shows up at all. It won't even let me add it. I get an error message. This app was really good until recently. I've already submitted a ticket twice and nothing.

Has worked pretty flawlessly in my experiences with it. And I know there isn't that much to it, but it still doesn't have a dark mode. In my opinion, all apps should have dark mode as a medical requirement. We all look at these screens so much, and some of us with eye problems and/or headache problems really do go through a lot of extra pain looking at bright white screens. But anyway, y'all add a dark mode and I'll add a 5th star!

Just doesn't work properly for some features. Got a new phone last year and the driver's license feature doesn't work the way it is supposed to work. When I tap on my license to view it, the screen rotates like it's going to show my license but the pin number & biometric finger print screens pop up. Put in my info and it goes back to the home screen. I've tried to contact support but that hasn't been successful either.

Will not allow creation of new account. Silly "Oops" message appears. Called customer support and they told me to "umm delete and reinstall" which I have already done. Support says "umm its a connection issue and to continue trying and call back later". I have already tried many times. My phone works just fine for all other apps and can stream HD video so apparently the issue is not with connection but with the app.
