Magnificent Honky

Filled with outdated information. My own property, that I purchased several years ago, is still labeled as owned by the previous owner. Same with property owned by my best friend. Mainly, I was trying to find an address for a buddy's property, however none is shown, which can't be right, as multiple businesses have operated from the building on that property, in the past. Overall, I question the accuracy, and will never pay for this app.

I was very disappointed to find that this app really does not work well if you are not in an area that has Wi-Fi. Trying to use it in a country setting causes your position to be off 10 to 20 ft making the app totally unusable. If there was any way to correct this I would be willing to reevaluate this app but as it is it is totally unusable to mark my property lines

Works somewhat. Milage may very. Accuracy is based on location. It got me within 30' of a known marker. Walking my road to find a corner made it look like my neighbors garage is in my yard. A fun toy, but probably more functional in an urban environment. It's a good app to see who owns various property ... it's all labeled. Since there is no price listed, I'm assuming it's subscription based ... so I'll just let the trial laps.

I Use this app quite a bit found it very useful (in many ways) the only issue that I have is when I replace my old phone with a new phone, the saved way points do not change over as easily as I expected them to. Also trying to get them to understand that I paid for the user fee for another year but they don't seem to want to credit me for the year and they're probably going to make me pay for a whole new year. Not sure what there deal is. It is Most certainly is a very useful app. Ron

Off by 17.5 feet according to in app measurements against known landmarks.. Device is Samsung note 9, GPS and Google location services permissions granted. Cloudy sky, some trees on lot, Google maps working as expected. I expect the app to be off by a 3 to 6 feet, but 17 feet is about 1/3 the width of the the .3 acre test lot. At least its a free trial, may work better under perfect conditions for some.

There is absolutely no match on the Android system too do what land Glide does. For the time it says with looking for properties, it is well worth the $10 a month. We manage 4000 properties in one County and this app makes finding and marking our properties very easy. Where we were having to use plot maps from the county before, and trying to navigate their website was a nightmare. We now have every parcel and GPS in one single application.

Not worth the price they want to charge. The app is good for what it advertises it can do, but not for $10 a month. Plus the app has mapping accuracy issues sometimes when I tried to dial in small parcels. They should offer a one-time fee, and make it reasonable. No this....everything they offer, and I mean everything. Is public information, free, available on all county land zoning websites, and most of those websites have tools for measuring, plotting, ect....forget this app, seriously!!

The app is fine, but I was under the impression that it was free to use. Was not conscience of any free trial period, so when the app made me either purchase a subscription or log out, I logged out and uninstalled it. I work as a film and television location scout and this app would be a great deal of help if I worked enough to justify it's cost. It is tax deductable for me, but still. Times are tough enough for me as it is.

I cancelled my subscription but continue to get charged $10.61 every month. This app isn't worth the money. It gets you within 20 ft of a survey line and pin so how could you possibly use it for any kind of accuracy. I was standing with surveyors with their satellite system at the time so someone is wrong. I could see within 2 ft. And yes, I moved to get it to catch up. It does have a long delay between moving and pinpointed lines. I want you to stop charging my cc and I want a return of money.

it works good for property shapes, and sizes when showing clients real estate properties. but, the map data is extremely old. as an example we sold a home to a client a few months ago, the house was brand new, and sat for almost a year before we sold it, and today, the parcel still shows no home whatsoever... Just an empty lot, and it still has the Builder's name attached to it.

this app is great... surprised it didn't exist before. no more fumbling with google maps and a printed parcel map to figure out where i am when im looking at vacant land. the subscription, for me, while pricey, is definitely worth it. i hope the subscription model means the app isnt tracking me with advertisements, etc. the ONE thing i wish were different.. is i wish the parcel lines didn't disappear when zoomed out.

I am land Surveyor I use this app all the time. It is a quick and easy way to get a general lay of the land. Obviously the aerial imagery cannot be trusted with parcel lines But was surprised how close the property corners were when my location is used. I do a lot of out of town work and Definitely love the links to county data. Although that data is limited it gets you going in the right direction when researching property in an area your not familiar with Nice app!

I took two stars off because once I paid for a membership, it now gives me a blank white screen when I switch apps and switch back. That means I need to close your app, relaunch, and get resituated every time I want to see a different app. It also sucks that the app doesn't save my map position from last time and just give me a target icon if I want to move back to my own location.

Accuracy is better on any open source map. This app shows my land to be cutting across my neighbors driveway that's original build from the 70's when our homes were built. I had it surveyed and the app is 100% incorrect. Using different overlays I get moved to random locations, and sometimes it's MILES away. Even using the same overlay (turning it off then back on) I get moved to a random area, it's not like it's supposed to do that or it would move to the same location when it's reactivated.

Detail of the map is good, interface very easy to use and works well, but the property lines do not match the county database and luckily for me, I could quickly see they are incorrect and did not match the original surveys. Aerial views and map lines are similar (if not identical) to those on Zillow which is free. BTW, also showed incorrect boundaries. Verify with your county's data before you purchase.

Best lot detail app on the market. I enjoy the simplicity and easy of use, but the pricing seems a bit steep after the 7-day trial. I would have appreciated a lengthier trial or lower (or free ad-based) pricing strategy for basic lot lines, perhaps with this higher pricing (ad-free) for more detailed lot info. Still, it's the only app like this I've seen on the market. They need some competition.

App is very gltichy. Map will not move or is very jumpy when trying to slide or zoom in or out. I've tried clearing catch, erasing all data, removing and reinstalling the app. For such an expensive app, you'd also think they'd update their software (which would address these glitches) more often than what is currently 8+ months, according to their app page. They also do not update data/maps very often. Other similar apps have much more updated data and do not have the gltichy slide/zoom.

I got super excited when the results of the first property search I performed were exactly what I wanted to see. But every other search thereafter produced luttle to no information at all. Furthermore, the app froze up multiple times. I had to uninstall and reinstall and clear the cache. That's 20 minutes of my life that are gone forever. If the app actually worked as advertised, I would pay a fair price to be able to access such data, all in one place. I'm checking out the competition now.

A few years ago, I discontinued my subscription. Today I wanted to see what changes they might have made. I clicked on "start 7-day free trial". That didn't work! So I hit subscribe, for 1 month. I tried it for 2 minutes. Unsubscribed. Was told it would end IN A MONTH. No free trial. So I'm out $9.99, after trying it for 2 minutes. [edit: I noticed that despite my new review on 6/12/24, the app maker's oddly upbeat answer from 8/1/19 remained the same. The result was comical. Now it's gone.]

This app used to be great. I recommended to many real estate people. Recently LandGlide decided to make some updates. The user experience went down the toilet. I have replies from LandGlide support making claims that these items were getting fixed but after 2months and another $20 there are still no fixes. Just an app that needs to be completely closed out to get the map to show backup. App is of no use if you can't even multitask with it.
