I lile the service of lastfm, but the mobile app is not it. Its pretty slow and basically just a condensed version of the website. The layout is pretty akward on mobile and is often unresponsive to clicks. At the top left hand corner, there is a big red back button that signs me out every time I click. It is very easy to misclick.

works fine enough, but you definitely have to babysit it sometimes. sometimes (but rarely) it just won't show up, and you have to pause then play your music again for it to start up. and the fact that it doesn't scrobble tracks thatre less than thirty seconds is an annoyance, why isn't there at least a built in manual scrobbler?

i would give this a four or five, i understand its tough work and i appreciate you for this app. i do have problems occasionally with it refusing to scrobbling even after restarting all apps, both music and fm. i can play a song like 5 times before it scrobbles. i use google pixel. but nonetheless ive been using it for years and love it! i know an artist who has two different people on it too. Ollie raps and Ollie need to be separated if possible.

One issue: due to Spotify's lame update, whenever I play a song credited to more than one artist, the now-playing widget on my phone lists each one separated by commas. So, if I were to play a song by 100 gecs, the app would not scrobble the artist as "100 gecs", but instead, "100 gecs, Laura Les, Dylan Brady". There should be a toggle in settings to omit any text in the artist field following a comma to prevent this issue.

The new update is pretty terrible. The now scrobbling bar is invasive and annoying to get around, especially when you're not currently scrobbling anything. And that's aside from the fact that it comes back every time you go to a new screen. Too many clicks are required to see any specifically desired charts. But mostly that stupid now scrobbling bar needs to go away.

App stopped working after new update, again. Says its scrobbling but none of the songs are showing up under scrobbles. This would easily be the most essential app on the app store if it worked consistantly. About every month or so the app ceases to function in any aspect, usually after an update. Then a couple weeks later the app works normally again. Essential app but dreadfully inconsistant performance.

This app has great functionality and an easy interface but it doesn't always do what it sets out to. It will go through long periods where it won't scrobble any tracks. people apparently have been complaining about it for some time but no fix ever comes.

The app has a song I don't even like and only listened to once stuck at the bottom of the screen at all times and it won't go away even when I delete all the scrobbles and logged out and reset my password. There's no option to make it go away I don't even understand why it's there. Also clicking on any album or song redirects you away from the app and to your web browser. Terrible app.

App feels very limited in features compared to the desktop website. Please add the ability to delete scrobbles from the app and to view a longer list of scrobbles in the app. I work in areas where frequently am without cell service, so it is common that I have duplicate scrobbles. I would love to be able to delete duplicates from the app rather than having to log in to the website on my Chromebook. Also some form of format tracking would be cool since I listen to local mp3s, Spotify, & vinyl,

i love the idea and scrobbling but it works so inconsistenly. The app will either track half of my songs or if i adjust the settings, it'll start double counting every song i listen to. i wish the app was more consistent with tracking. I wish i could just turn on Spotify and it would automatically work without me prompting it or checking on it at all

3 main complaints: 1 - doesn't start scrobbling automatically when music starts. I have to start the app separately. 2 - it downloaded copies of the album art for ever song to my picture gallery. waste of memory and cluttered my pictures. 3 - notification icon is a minor annoyance as it is, but also won't go away after I stop playing music.

This app offers no features or convenience compared to just using the website itself in a browser. Hell, the only way to love a track using this app is to touch a song from your history, which then opens that song up in your browser anyway. There really needs to be a way to just love a song with one touch. Also the old iphone app had a music player and could generate playlists based on songs you loved. That feature was removed years ago, and it was a huge loss.

Love the service hate the app~The app is inconsistent about scrobbling music, especially songs that are 2 mins or less. If you love a song before the song scribbles, then it either doesn't count the scrobble or the love. The recommendations are cool but when you're using an external source like Spotify, it's much easier to dive into obscurity with the service. Really this is just an easier way of going "aw heck what was that earworm of a song I can't remember the name of from a week ago."

Overall very good. I enjoy the background scrobbling very much. I wish we could add settings to distinguish between podcasts and music so that hour long podcasts aren't added to my stats. I also wish the app had all the features the website has, like being able to see other accounts. The scrobbling occasionally takes a minute or two to kick in, but generally it's pretty good. Overall, very good app but could use some improvements.

Does anyone else have the problem of songs being recorded twice after being listened to once? I set the app to only scrobble songs I listen to completely because of this, but it happens all the time. I guess I'll divide all my listened to songs by two then. And at first the app was recording YouTube videos and Netflix shows that weren't even centered around music, luckily users can specify what apps they want scrobbled. The app is very clunky. It technically does what you want, just not well.

1) 25% of the time the app is entirely nonfunctional. 2) It scrobbles random songs multiple times. I can listen to an album straight through and 3 or so of the songs are scrobbled twice. 3) Has issue connecting/disconnecting to a lot of media devices. 4) Scrobbles don't show how much you listen to an artist. I have artists a hundred spots higher than others I've listened to three times as long. Considering they tell you how long you are listening, it's very stupid that that isn't a feature

Used to work fine but as others have mentioned here it now will scrobble tracks multiple times at random. One song was scrobbled ~35 times (all within the same minute somehow) for seemingly no reason. I have had to comb through months of listening data just to remove these false scrobbles. Add to that the lack of basic functionality in the app (like for example, being able to view/edit all of your scrobbles without having to go to the web version) and there is no reason to keep using this app.

Another way to scrobble my streaming music on my phone? Sure. It sounded nice. However, this app is so problematic and glitchy. It constantly gets stuck on a song and there is not an option to refresh or rescan. I find myself restarting my phone to sync up Spotify and this app. Works well only about 30% of the time. Disappointing and frustrating.

Downloaded just a few months ago and have had issues from the very first day. Doesn't scrobble all songs - I just played 31 songs from an artist which scribbled but the total amount that I played their songs did not go up so it didn't actually add the songs into their Library. I could go on and on. So many glitches and I just received an email that they wanted to raise the price. What's the point in paying for something that doesn't work properly. 0 out of 10 does not recommend

App is so bad. It was great before but now it has so many bugs. I used this app for around a year without problems. But now it's starting to glitch and think I'm looping a song many times when I'm not. It also says I'm streaming a song but after a while I check and it never saved 2 hours of songs even though I have the notification I am streaming these songs. I hope it all gets fixed soon bc for more than a year the app was fine but its been months like this and no changes have been made.
