I want to give it a better rating, but there is a glaring issue that makes learning more of a chore than it needs to be as a complete beginner. And that is their example code is sometimes written incorrectly and won't run properly. Really frustrating when your teacher can't even properly write code themself half the time. That said I suppose figuring out how to correctly write their incorrectly written code can be a good exercise in learning in itself.

It's great for exposure towards Python. That's all. It boasts the ability to give a certificate, but this is a fake accomplishment. It's great for motivation, and the app is otherwise great to learn with. But the fake certificate is ny reason for 3 stars and uninstalling. Also, the paywall preventing full completion with a fake discounted price for all courses is awful. Great app, but it false advertises.

It's hard to know when you're Deaf, and the videos are playing rapid vibrating sound, what all you're possibly missing aside from the few descriptive words that flash on the video, which almost seems like they could be saying a lot more than the words that are showing in the videos. It looks great, but would be nice if it was Deaf-inclusive, unless there's some closed captioning option for the videos I've not yet noticed?

A good program for free. Wanted to add that if you want to learn python for free then this is the app for you. It's got mostly the same stuff if not a little extras then alot of the paid apps. Also do you have a PC version or website, I think making this into a PC or web version with a add compiler on the same screen would be very neat. I know there's already some sites and web apps like that, but I like how you presented the information, and flow of the app. Really helped me.

This is an excellent training application to take you from zero to the basics needed. Very good easy to use interface. The only challenge, and thus the 4 stars instead of 5, is being able to verify things in the "projects". I went through the projects and had small issues that were hard to troubleshoot. It is very hard to follow word-wrapping versus new line (the challenges of a small screen). Plus it is easy to miss something as small as an "f" function added into a command, when you are learning that one might, or might not, be used. It would be great if there were links to be able to access the code that you are typing, instead of having to go through everything on the previous screens and the small snipits. I am not asking to have a website to support it, that would be too much, but a GIT repository with the project code would be perfect.

I love the app, very east to use and simple, def teaching me the fundamentals of python. One problem, in the operations and numbers course, doing the random numbers module, I wasn't able to complete the course. I got to the end and then it gave me a Grey screen. Will change to 5 stars when fixed. Figured out the problem, the support email responded within a few days with help.

UPDATE: The developer reached out to me. However, the 2 areas of the app that I complained about is now working, so I did not contact the developer. I am changing my review to 4 stars (there are a few minor typos, etc, in the app). Buggy. I paid for the premium version and I have encountered 2 lessons so far where it will not allow any input and there is no way to skip that lesson and continue. I liked the app and therefore paid for the premium version, but now I regret my decision.

CHILL with the amount of "buy premium" notifications and in-app requests. They pop up so often and their obnoxious, plentiful quality makes me less likely to buy. I hate it when apps have settings to turn off notis, but when we choose to turn off everything, we still get notis to buy the product. I guess I'm turning them all off through my phone's settings, which sucks because I would perhaps have wanted some notis as I get more into the lessons.

The first entire hour of the program could be simplified to Shell begin >>> print("___") #comment Also, you don't even do any actual coding, you just answer a handful of badly programed multiple choice fill in the blanks. This is a waste of time, and if you fell for the "lifetime discount" bit (hint: literally everyone gets the offer. It's a shameless marketing trick to convince you it's worth more and you're getting some exclusive discount) then it becomes a waste of money, too.

I took a python course while i was in college, and ended up changing my major at that school because they taught it in such a confusing way. Im really happy with this on as its alot easier to understand, and there isnt so much fluff or filler on the lessons. It makes it really easy to remember. There are a few errors in some of the lessons, but so far all of them are minor, such as misspelled words or using brackets instead of parentheses with print statements.

Great for the first 3-4 lesson sets, but THEN they "foot-in-the-door" you and tell you you can't CONTINUE the rest of the lessons unless you pay for the Pro / Premium version for $30 USD. It seemed pretty awesome, but I thought it stayed a free app all the way through, not until you're 16% through the course So be forewarned that you won't be able to complete without paying $30 or so

Id have given the 5 start easily cause its great at explaining the python language and the exercises are simplified enough that a novice like me can understand and use. Only thing is that, I passed a section and it was offering me PRO for 9.99 instead of the 19.99, but when I clicked on it to get the offer, it closed and when I reopened the app it was back to the 19.99 offer. Idk what happen but u was disappointed.

Would have rated this app higher, but I haven't been able to use it unless I have access to WIFI as it doesn't seem to recognize cell networks as the internet. I am a truck driver who likes to learn new things and don't have access to WIFI on a regular basis, so the lack of cellular network as internet recognition is pretty annoying.

very good I love how it prints out small amount of text at a time very good for people with learning disability makes it so digestible and easy to read. fair prices so easily affordable. very good for beginners. no ads anywhere. every once in a while on the last question it doesn't register my input at all until I tap the entire screen but other then that it's good. app is also beautiful. most coding apps make you pay so much for so little!

I learned a lot, from this course. They took the time to add definitions and reasons and explain the way to get started. A few projects to get rolling, in my experience I had to figure out why the projects did not work. (Minor clerical and a break in the wrong spot) I did have a bug during the experience that was corrected in about 2 or 3 days by the devs. I went back and finished the course. The bug was 'incomplete' courses: had to rerun the last part of courses without a test; to open 'Test'

I'll say up front that I've only been using the app for a couple of days, and most of what I've seen so far has been pretty decent. Unfortunately I'm already running into some inconveniences. Namely the multiple device integration. I've installed the app on both my phone and tablet and set them to the same acct, despite that, it doesn't appear to sync your progress across multiple devices. In addition, the version on my tablet seems to have some scaling issues with the interface, hiding buttons

It wasn't bad for the price and kept me motivated. There were a few coding errors on the database connection module from the app. One was the developer labeled cur.execute when it should have been MYcur.execute. Small mistake, but for someone new, can take awhile to figure it out. I see it was corrected in project 3. Overall not bad, well organized. Would like for more courses and maybe longer videos. Not bad.

Overall, pretty well put together, however, there is a bug I intend to report. This app is not developed for foldable phones. Using a Galaxy ZFold 5 and some of the buttons are cut off and shapes are overlapping. It needs some updating for these phone Designs. I don't see these issues on the front screen, only the opened inner screen. Besides that, really enjoying the app thus far.

So far, so good. This rating is based on the 10 minutes I have been using this app. So far, it is running smooth, and the lessons are very user-friendly, colorful, with quick pop quizzes to keep you engaged. I was asked to pay before I even began the lessons, which was odd and scary as I took a shot in the dark and paid without knowing if this app would be an asset. I believe they should wait to ask after the user plays around the app for a while. Hopefully It's worth all my little pennies.

Overall, a well designed app and the course work is simple to follow and given in bite-sized chunks that are easy to digest. I have two issues that, if addressed, would bump my review up to 5 stars. 1) No dark mode. 2) The app displays a black screen when swapping back to it from a different app if not closed first. If I reselect the app while it's black screened, an image will usually appear.
