This app is very useful and simple to use! The only problem is that it takes a few taps to play a word/ prompt. BUT The thing im most upset about is the text-to-speak voices right now. When i first got this app months ago, it had close to a dozon voices to pick from. Now they only have the basic Siri voice, its unsettling and just disapointing...

When I logged in today my user had disappeared and been replaced with the users of 4 strangers. Not cool. I also really dislike that it reads the cards out loud when you press on them. It's also impossible to avoid pressing the wrong lines when you're scrolling through the sentences. Whenever I scroll I often end up activating 1-2 sentences that I don't want to activate. Very confusing in a conversation. Translations also suck, lots of mistakes that make the sentences meaningless in my locale.

I recently purchased the premium and it's amazing for English - other languages like Russian have issues though. Biggest problem is that every time I open it, it doesn't remember me. It has different profile names of people I don't know and I keep having to re-add the packs that I want. But for English speakers who don't mind technicalities, highly recommended.

This app is so helpful, regardless of whether you're just learning how to communicate or an experienced linguist who's nonverbal, semi-verbal or anything in-between this is an excellent app. The app is easy to use and there's a feature to add your own phrases. The monthly fee is reasonable, and I personally like that you can unlock the premium features with one full payment, giving you full access.

I really do love this app, it helps me speak after seizures and Autism meltdowns. However, I find the price to be extremely predatorial... I shouldn't have to pay 100 dollars to be able to speak, especially since this app is made for differently abled people. To me, it's extortion.

This app is incredibly valuable, catering to individuals at all stages of language development, from beginners to seasoned linguists, including those who are nonverbal, semi-verbal, or anywhere in the spectrum. Its usability is exceptional, and it even allows users to customize and incorporate their own phrases. The monthly subscription cost is reasonable, and what's particularly appealing is the option to unlock premium features with a one-time payment, granting unrestricted access.

everything is good. the one thing a little less is that the voice settings don't save when I'm offline. it goes back to the default. other than that, everything works fine, so it's not that much of a bother. if fact, the app is a huge help. edit: a day later the male voices were gone. and they haven't come back.

This app requires Google Text To Speech for the voice speech to work. I am taking off 1 star as no guidance was given. Also, you have spelt 'continue' incorrectly in the UK setup process. The app has icons and words that are categorised well, especially for normal daily use. Voice speech will say the word. Well designed and easy to follow. Simple and brilliant app.

It's a good app, you can use it to say pretty much anything you want, but it lacks a lot of good male voices, and most of the options sound the same. The one that sounds best for me has weird inflections and sounds wrong in some circumstances. It's also hard to tell which voice is male or female without clicking through all the options, it would be nice if they were better named.

very good app is perfect for me, except there's something i'm experiencing that makes it very hard to use. whenever i am trying to scroll through phrases, it says the phrase as i put my finger on it. there's a setting to change this but it's already off but it's acting like it is on. and if i change those settings they don't actually change, i go back to settings and my changes didn't save. hope this can get fixed!

So basically this is a very cute and decent app. I do have a few problems though. The phases that you can get for free are very limited and specific. I am not able to pay so it's annoying that you have to pay to get more phases. Also, the speech is a little delayed sometimes. *I have autism and I sometimes become non-verbal, so I use apps sometimes* I personally would not recommend using this app if you want to speak but are unable to. They're others that are free and have less limited options.

this app is incredible! it has lots of different topics, some are locked behind premium, but the most important ones are free. the only problem i had is that when you scroll down, it can voice a sentence that you didn't mean to press, but if you use it carefully it's not gonna be a major issue. really helpful and i love the design, it's soft and cute. amazing!

The app is useful, but clearly aimed at children. As a free to use app, I'll give credit where it is due. It functions, and it allows you to type out your own phrases and sentences for it to read. However, the preexisting options for free are extremely limited and there is very little option to expand these. The voices are also limited, with very few male options, all with a strange inflection. Tapping a button, it reads the label aloud. This reinforces the app is for children learning to speak.

It's ok. The voices are very limited (only feminine voices) and there's no option to turn on dark mode. Also when you scroll through the options one of them always ends up playing which is inconvenient. I like that you can type whatever sentence you like into the search bar and it'll play it but there should be an option to save phrases.

Some of the premium packs are odd in what phrases they include or don't include. I started a one month subscription because another review said you can make you own cards and that is a high priority feature for us. I couldn't find any way to do it though and it doesn't seem like pack reordering is actually enabled either. That said, we line the images used for this. I love that there are some built in choices for phrases on a subject. The organization, favorites, and search are all helpful.

**EDIT/UPDATE** Optimistic about the response from the developer! Will see how it goes with the next update because this app stood out from the others in ease of use.------Appalling that the *medical* cards, which would be vital in emergencies, are locked behind a monthly subscription. Predatory choice from an otherwise lovely, easy to use, app. No option to delete account. So disappointed.

I like this app and mainly use the text to speech portion of it, but because of that I wish there was a way you could turn off the "Hello [name]" when you open the app because if I'm trying to talk to someone it just seems like I'm saying hi to myself which is weird. I also know it might be a long shot but it would be nice if there were different voice options and speed options. ^^

It has many good choices and you can even make your own! I love this app so much but I have just one problem so I really hope you guys are this, the voice, I love the voice so many great options and different pitches. The only problem is it says things so fast that nobody can understand what I'm trying to say. If you could add speed options or make it speak at a slower pace I would definitely put it at 5 stars.

great app !! although i think all of the packs of cards within the app should be free. half of the packs you have to get a premium plan and that you have to pay for. in my opinion, in this case, it would be easier to use text to speech. other than that, this is a great app !!! beautifully put together, very easy to find and use things, especially the cards. very simple and easy on the eyes.

Great app. It really does help with my non-verbal episodes. Only problem is I can't find a way to turn off the part where it says the category when you press it [for example, you press the hello conversation button, and it says hello before you can choose what you actually want to say.] It's gotten me into confusing interactions out in public, which only stresses me out more.
