This thing requires a total rewrite. You have to figure out, how to get the portal to open a case if you need to send documents or get assistance. NOT user-friendly at all.

Im still currently in the situation that I was concerned about enough to contact legalshield, but after having a chat with the attorny who took on my questions regarding my issue, Mr. Woods quickly put my concerns to rest as well as providing me with a good laugh or two to ease some tension. I highly recommend this app as well as the group Kivel & Howard as they showed nothing but top-tier service. Thanks again!

Biggest scam for lower income people needing real help. They are a scam. I found out an attorney wanted $5000 as a retainer because there was definitely reason to open dad's estate. The attorneys in the Oregon branch make you feel stupid for not knowing legal terms to ask. They are rude with no intentions on ever working with you. Taking money from people who need serious help with a case. With it being a little bit more difficult of a case. I paid for 2 years, in hopes,paying for a while....

They force you to cancel in writing via email after you spend several minutes on the phone with them. No option to cancel in the app or online.

I was anticipating getting assistance with this app, instead it was just a referral system. Had a judge assure me I'd win over a wrongful arrest, yet, no one goes at bat without a giant retainer.

This is the worst membership cancellation experience. There is no button on either the web app or the mobile app to cancel membership. You must call to cancel where they then try and convince you to stay. After that they authorize your membership to be cancelable, after they authorize you to cancel you must send an email to a specific email given to you by an automated robot which is hard to hear. In the email you must include special trigger words to get it cancelled, miss any u will get billed

I really like the new updated look of the app and the functions available. Unfortunately, when trying to request a consult through the app, if you select the Traffic option, it automatically acts as if you're submitting a speeding ticket claim, even though the traffic option covers things like accidents too.

Erin the virtual assistant is useless. Just keeps referring you to call customer service. Customer service is horrible. No one there seems to be up to date on modern technology. Their suggestion seems to always be check back in a couple of days to see if, the problem is resolved. Plus the service hours are really inconvenient if, you have a job. Needs a lot of work in my opinion.

Great idea implemented horribly. Made impossible to cancel your account. When you think you've finally cancelled your account, you're charged for yet another month. Customer service is completely useless. They ask you a list of questions then tell you to send an email requesting cancelation that apparently does nothing. 5/18/22UPDATE: Months later after thinking I've canceled my account they're still charging me for the worthless service. Customer support still, completely useless.

Downloaded the app and tried to sign in but it keeps saying invalid email address or password. But I know for sure it's correct. I closed the app and tried to reopen it then the main screen freezes and the loading icon just keeps spinning. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and got the same results.

Deceptive practices and hard to cancel your subscription! Beware! I had Legal Shield for several months when I ask to help with some fraud case. Lawyer called me just to say that in order to help me I need to upgrade to a business plan. They make you to jump through hoops in order to cancel your subscription too! It has to be done in writing.

App worked fine and customer service seemed decent, my issue was when I set up a consultation that I was never contacted during the alloted time. Based on that impression of my prospective representation, I canceled my membership and either hoped to find someone else or I would just have to give up on the issue that I needed help with.

The service concept is good! The Attorneys are responsive but tend to end the free consultation portion of the membership, & move you to 25% discount consultation, too quickly (Before they know if you have any additional questions.) The App is a nice tool to have but it's not as intuitive as the previous version. Member Perks is missing and the Will Questionaire is too! App is too cumbersome to navigate! Add the Buttons back to App Home Screen; including Emergency Access & MembersPerks !

I have been using this app since its inception. As of the first of August. I have not been able to open it. Goes to a white homescreen, and locks with the LS logo. Uninstalled several times and reinstalled. Nothing seems to work. Been with the company since 97, but am considering dropping, as the push for more technology seems to be hurting the company.

Okay app, okay service. However according to the policy, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund on a subscription cancelation. I canceled the day after being charged my final month and they set it up for "review" that conveniently lasted the rest of the "subscription period". I spent almost $100 and only used one service, one time. Thats not how you should treat a customer that youre advertising so hard to for a new subscription.

Needs to provide all information and reasonably let you make requests regarding reopening of cases/file complaints, ect. Dont close cases unreasonably. Ive had the same case closed 3 times after repeatedly submitting repeated information and can verify. Had a mishap. It got fixed asap. App works great so far. The only downside is not being able to re-open/resubmit requests/documents via this app and / or without calling in to customer support. Overall, It's more convenient.

I've used the app before in past years and it worked great, but I've been trying to download it again for a couple weeks and it only freezes with a spinning loading icon and never did anything. I have to force stop the app every time to get out as I can't do anything else. Very disappointing. UPDATE: App downloaded and opened successfully today, after multiple tries over the past couple weeks. I did not make any changes/ updates on my phone, but today it worked. Glad it's fixed.

I installed the app eight times tonight, and it didn't install despite all the messages that the app was compatible with my system. I found it in the Google apps and tried installing it through both Chrome as well as through the MS Edge Browser to pull and fine the Application and to pick the install button. I did many searches for it after the installation. It simply wasn't there. It does not work. I will try tomorrow on my tablet, but I have little hope that the installation will be any better. It is a non-functioning app for even the installation.

Great service while living in California, good service in Michigan. Now, with the new app, I have not been able to log on, even after being on the phone with customer service for almost an hour. LS needs a ticketing system. The poor rep was trying to help but had no idea about the app not working for multiple ppl as I found in the reviews. AND, thi matter still has not been resolved!

This is a review more about the app than the service- the app doesn't work. I literally just watch the initial loading screen spin forever and it never properly loads. I've used the website to some effect but I rather liked it when the app actually worked. I'm running a Pixel 3 and yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the phone, all sorts of things. It just doesn't work.
