Do not... repeat, DO NOT use this company. They will not cover your losses for the simplest of issues, even with adding on all their add-on coverages. Should have never left progressive. My losses would have been covered with any other insurance company. Even the adjuster stated that they covered the damage on other policies. Stating that I must not have checked the option. I added on every add-on.

Signing up is fast, easy, and transparent. However, when setting up the app, it asks you about previous insurance policies and to sign to cancel them but does not give you the option if you've never had renter's insurance before. This is where an actual person may be more beneficial than AI.

Installed for renter's insurance. While the quote process was easy, I encountered repeated issues when trying to actually make a purchase. I made multiple attempts and each time received an error message. I finally uninstalled and purchased my insurance through Toggle, which took only approximately 5-10 minutes. Lemonade just lost business due to their technical issues.

Do not use this service. If you haven't finished requirements to have service and coverage, you will still be charged monthly. Cant charge people without rendering service. Canceling policies is hard since contact is almost impossible to find and when you do, they give you the run around. In their FAQ, says you can cancel through app, this statement is not true. You can't cancel through app or website. It's not worth the headache. I'm already counting my 2 months of charges as a loss.

App keeps giving an error message and not connecting. I have been able to connect one time. It fails to connect on mobile data and both home networks. This is the only app with which I have this issue, so it definitely isn't my connection. In the one instance it did connect, the automated system threw and error everytime I input my new address and just had me keep doing it in a loop.

Cannot recommend for the reason stated below. Initially the pricing looks a very competitive but their customer support was terrible and they would not return phone calls. My primary complaint was they were very intrusive and they wanted me to do their work for them when they could have easily pulled up the information they were requesting in 2 minutes themselves. Not only did they want complete exteriorphotos they also wanted receipt indicating the type of construction, and intrusive photos.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Argumentative, condescending and no help what so ever when asking for assistance with a simple issue. All I needed was a currently dated document showing my insurance was up to date. Apparently, this is almost an impossible task... I strongly recommend finding a different company. Save yourself the headache.

I used to be a satisfied metromile app user. I loved that I could see maps of all the trips I made, along with the mpg for each trip. I loved the transparency in billing so that my bill was never a surprise. Unfortunately, this month metromile was "upgraded" to lemonade and my experience has plummeted. I expected, at the very least, to find the same features I enjoyed before, but the lemonade app doesn't even show me where my car is parked.

Filing claims consists of a text message styled chat with a robot. Just make it a form. The ai text thing is dumb because it looks like it should be able to answer questions and handle outlier situations that don't quite fit. And they want you to describe what happened in a 60 second audio note. Some situations will fit in 60 seconds but those that don't, you have to record a series of clips. And I got frustrated so I don't think I was even thorough

I have been having problems with this app for months. I can make it to the login in page, but once I enter my one time pass code, I get a message saying "something went wrong". I have tried uninstalling multiple times and even tried on a different device, all had the same issue. Contacting support didn't work either. I was told to try what I had already done, and after I said that I had done that, support quit responding to me. Wouldn't recommend this app for insurance.

Something is really wrong with this app. For the last few months, everytime I open the app, the AI tells asks me to finish setting up my account and it just gets stuck there without any progress. I cant access my policy neither can I do anything else on the app, except navigating to the settings to log off and update my payment. I have tried reinstalling the app without any results. So frustrating!

Seems glitchy. Last night I filled everything out and it worked flawlessly and I got a good rate. But when I played with adjusting coverage, it went up and down as I would expect for a while. Then, I turned on an option that raised it by 25%. We didn't need that but when I turned it off, the cost didn't go down. I couldn't get back to the original rate, even when I clicked "Restore to Default" (Or something like that). So I tried to start over and am now stuck in an infinite loop where it asks me the same 4 or 5 questions over and over again. I was about to make the switch and not I am stuck and the app offers zero options for support. This is not inspiring. If i can't get them to reliably TAKE my money, what will the experience be if I need them to GIVE me money?

It's too simple that all the basic things you want to take advantage of you can't like paying your policy early for the month or for the rest of the term or managing multiple accounts. Like these are options that people need. False advertising on the musical instruments coverage... it only covers instruments like harps and guitars. But it didn't mention that when I purchased it. So crazy. I'm swapping due to better account options. Gotta figure out how to cancel.

This is so annoying to use, it's a bunch of bots in a text message style system that moves slowly and there is NO desktop option. I did not want to install an app, and the way this app is designed just proves why. It would be infinitely faster to have a desktop form where I could access my hard drive, copy and paste items, and switch windows quickly, instead I get this nightmare. Literally, this makes me want to pay more somewhere else.

I've been using the app for a while now, no problems there. Had a very competitive rate for the coverage offered, and I was satisfied. Never actually needed to make a claim. Just checked the app and apparently my monthly premium has doubled and I was charged at the new premium, instead of the previously listed rate, with the only explanation being that I have a "short credit history", and that my credit type is "not prefered". And of course it was automatically deducted. Looking at new insurance

Used them for rental insurance & was straightforward & competitively priced. Forgot to cancel my plan with them when I switched to the monthly offered by my complex for the remainder of my lease, & they promptly addressed it & issued a refund for the annual amount I was charged (-$6 which I assume has to do with processing fees). Can appreciate the prompt service & not making things too much of a hassle, would recommend them 👍

Easy insurance set up and quickly as i needed insurance for my lease agreement. I have not had to file a claim on anything yet. So this review is strictly on the app itself. Its bad. Seriously. Get rid of the AI. Most users likely just want to check their policy and coverage not be bombarded by an AI talking about donations. Its a cool feature dont get me wrong but it should only help to aid not be mandatory. Make it a chat bubble like every other thing in the world.

Switched from Metro to lemonade, and this app is terrible! It's missing all the key features that I love from the metro app! It has no GPS tracking to see the trips that I have made, where my car is parked, and how many miles each car drove since I have two policies. Doesn't give you a diagnosis on your car if something is wrong with your car. Ughh I hate this app! Lemonade, please update your app to Metromile!!!

I only have this app because they purchased my car insurance, Metro Mile. I really miss Metro Mile. The lemonade app sucks and has a lot less functionality. Metro Mile used to show me a GPS where my car is. Lemonade doesn't do that. Metro Mile used to let me see a break down of my bill, which is based on how much I drive. Now, I can't see how each trip affects my bill. That's only a few things I can't do any more. Their reps are also very unhelpful and the way they set up my documents sucks.

I had metromile before lemonade took over. My base rate was noticeably lower with metromile. Also Notable features that metromile customers APPRECIATED to were the GPS locations of car and driving trips. A visual of trips as well. also the plug, would send us diagnostic and inform clients of potential car issue via text and email. These are very important and made metromile stand out. Please bring back the maps of driving trips and the diagnostic notifications!!! Please.
