*UPDATE* Now working with my OnePlus 13. Let's see how long. 3 stars for not being able to use for years. I have not been able to use for years now with various phone models due to connection issues. Can't connect via bluetooth. Will connect for 1 second then disconnect.

It's a good speaker. I dropped it from about six feet to the hardwood floor and not even a dent. Sounds really nice with the equalizer and the lights are amazing!

I use this app with my DXO2T. The provided functionality is a great plus. I wish the app would not be needed to use the full functionality of the speaker. I would like it to be fully optional and all settings to be available through the speaker buttons directly. For all people who comment on the EQ function: Please note this feature is implemented in the firmware of the speaker itself and not in the app. The app just sets the values for the internal EQ of the speaker.

I like this app but have a big problem. I use it with my new LG XL5S. I like the light effect mode but I'd really like to turn the strobe lights off with the woofer light on but the app just doesn't have the option. Please add a simple toggle to disable only the strobes. Please. I'll give you 5 stars if you do. Have a nice day

1. Needs support for Dark Mode and Widgets 2. It would be great if we could alternate between Bluetooth and AUX using a combination of physical buttons. This would be awesome for me because I use the XG7S as a speaker for my PC, and it is boring having to use my smartphone (or unplug/plug the cable) for that.

No I can't play music with the speaker and app unless you have music with another provider this speaker is great for what I need I wish they could have said something about not being able to Bluetooth music with another provider I can play it on just can't send it to the speaker for a no Internet time but if I have a cell phone that works looks like speaker will also

Use it with my LG Home Stereo System. Have the remote too, but dont mind using the app, could be little more in depth but it.does what you need it to do. The music selection part needs a way to connect to google play music, spotify, whatever you use for music. Unless you can and I just don't know how lol. Overall I can't complain

Updated app,now it doesn't have connections for more speakers! Power management switch does not work either. My app doesn't look anything like the photos on this app ad! Where is the support? The main reason I bought these was to sync up 2 together! Where is the support for this app? Just send me a link to the old app,that one worked!

App was working fine before the update, after the update my phone won't connect with the Bluetooth for the speaker. I have tried my wife's phone as well and I am having a the same issue. Could be that I have a Pixel Pro 7 that received the new android update to 13, so that might have an issue with it. But, it works great when it connects.

05/29/2022 I have received few updates for the app and unfortunately I still having the same issue. The app keep disconnecting from the Bluetooth. This so upsetting not been able to use my speaker 😡😖 I don't know what else to do smh 🤬 I never had any issues with the old version 08/21/022 The previous issue was already resolved. Now we just got an update and started doing again (disconnecting) 😖🤬 WTH

Using it with the PL7. It does what it's supposed to do well; it is easy to use and understand for the most part. I wish you could do a bit more with the app though, especially in the lightning and EQ department. Sound profiles and more color options would be very nice additions in my opinion. Dark mode would be pretty sweet too.

Pros: Linking two xBOOMs is cool, as is controlling the lighting effects of the Beat Lighting. Cons: Local Media Files only? For real? It's 2020.. LG your hardware is great but the software for it is just.. lacking in serious ways. Should be able to integrate/merge the specific app for this speaker with music streaming services as well as the focal files, and then be able to control an in-app equalizer that's different than any other generic downloaded audio personalization app. 3/5***

Needs a dark mode! I use this app with my LG-PK5 & my LG-RP4. Overall OK, but functionality is pretty basic. The options for LED controls is really restrictive, and its not possible to completely customize lighting options like color combinations, brightness, and strobing. Overall it's a bit of a gimmick, but it could be really good with a bit more polish.

Wireless party link for stereo needs work. I think a paired speaker should be able to remember that it's a stereo pair, or even a larger set, so I don't have to re-pair the second stereo speaker every time. Having these little Xboom go speakers run in Stereo is REALLY awesome, but setting it up every time I reconnect to them is a terrible nuisance to the feature, and kills it honestly. Please implement a memory for a setup so it will automatically pair when I connect to either of the set...

It would be nice if the app quits disconnecting from my LG PK7 speaker after 10 minutes. It never once did this. Luckily I can still connect the speaker by Bluetooth alone and just delete the app. I just can't control anything on the speaker without the app except volume. It might be bug. It never did this before, but considering that LG isn't doing anything about it earns it a one star.

Not bad but could be better. For one, closing the app doesn't mean you should be disconnected from the speaker (In my case the pk7). Also, you can't control music from the app if you are streaming music. Only if the music is locally stored in your device. Other than that, it doesn't seem too bad. Fix those things and I'd bumb up to a 4. Also have an eq option not just "enhanced bass" and "clear vocal". This would bump it to 5.

What happened? App has worked flawlessly for a couple of years with my previous phone and now my Samsung S21 Ultra. Now it connects for 3 or 4 seconds and drops the connection. Have tried deleting and re-downloading the app, restarting the phone, etc. - nothing works. Occasionally it will hold the connection for almost a complete song before dropping. Please help -

I use the app when connecting my electric guitar to my 550w speaker. It's cool to be able to adjust volume, pitch, etc. from my phone, but I wish there were more affects like delay, phaser, wah, etc. that I could use as well. I know the mic jack is really just meant for karaoke, but since I've started using it as an amp I keep thinking about the possibilities. I haven't been able to find an app that does this but it would awesome if it does exist. please make it happen/ tell me where to find it!

I am still in the "exploring settings" phase. I caved and checked the user manual because the Google Play Store page says it doesn't collect or share user data. It requires precise position, which then leads to a list of global regions, which then leads to a list of countries, each of which is a link to their official manual lookup site for their physical products, so none of this was necessary in the first place. Would love it if anyone knows a way to link 2 speakers for stereo output w/o app.

I bought a second speaker because I loved the first one so much. I'm having trouble syncing them. I have an LGTV and I have never been able to connect the first speaker. Why does the app remove the speaker when you turn it off. I have to pair them everytime I leave the app. Can i sync the tv only has BT, TV , 2Xbooms, and LG sound bar and hear the same through all outputs. Would having a HUB help?
