Still the only torrent I use but the latest version is slightly problematic. It keeps reading files that have been deleted. It registers fully downloaded files as incomplete. This was never an issue in a previous iteration which I fortunately still have on my backup phones.

Best Torrent App. I've used transmission, which doesn't stick file in the place you choose and doesn't show upload speed, and utorrent, which is full of adds. Libretorrent is fast, simple, upload and download speeds. Also has ability to simply upload your own torrent file. No adverts. Just better than anything else out there.

This is the fastest, easiest and best BitTorrent client for Android! I have tried them all and this one works exceptionally well! It's almost embarrassing that it has no ads and is free. Donations will make me feel better 😎

Free and mostly working, but doesn't request the all files permission needed for it to not make an error when trying to change the destination folder (if we still manage to change it, it can pause the torrent for downloading images).

This app is really awesome and outstanding! Thank you so much for developing such a great app! By the way, I have one suggestion, could you please add that option that app should get shutdown even if all torrents have been paused or if there are no torrents to download (Like it has in bit torrent and u torrent. ) Otherwise app keep running and draining battery unnecessarily, especially when the scheduling feature is kept on always.

Works great. The UI is very clean and uncluttered and the ads are unobtrusive and I don't think I've ever been bothered about microtransactions or anything like that. Thank you, developers. Have a great day!

If you guys need a modern looking UI, this app maybe not the best looking. But if you want a friendly UI & only need to download torrent files, this app is very easy to use. My suggest for LibreTorrent is too make a "Only upload/seeding when charging" feature, sometimes I want to download some files, but don't want to spare my battery for seeding at the same time, would be great if it's automatically seeding when I'm charging!

Works fine. But it's definitely a bummer that you can't change the download order of added torrents to your likings. I also can't get it to add torrents from the program, I have to do it from the browser download list or from a file manager. Weird. Much appreciated that the latest version allows for both sequential and first/last pieces download, wich is essential for previewing videos.

Its a good client but only when it works. The glaring issues are many including: - inability to cleanup torrent filenames that include characters supported in windows, not in android. Thus rejecting it entirely. - how the force recheck does not set missing files as missing, instead it remembers their existense even if the torrent is removed and added again. - inability to force start a torrent no matter where it is in the queue - or something as basic as reposition a torrent in the queue.

It's great, but quite unstable when you're downloading many items at the same time. A shutdown helps work around it. Also, I miss the ability to backup all torrent files, to transfer to a new phone. And I'm using F-Droid to install it, so it can be granted permission to any folder on the device.

Disappointing. I used this app for, years. It was a perfect, five star app until about two months ago when something happened; it quit working. For a while I thought it was just the quality of the p2p network, data grabs, fake torrents: lovely stuff all of us are used to at this point. I dug up a new app and tested identical magnets with both fully updated apps and network climate. DL's failing to work with libre worked fine with SAnD. Case closed for me! 3 stars for the good times.. :(

Of the features that I use, it works well and I appreciate that it's ad free. It's well developed and feature rich, offering far more than I need (or know about). Apart from basic downloading (using magnet links), I use sequential download, so I can check out some of the files, while the rest are still downloading. 👍

The other torrent clients weren't working for me, only Libra worked. I'm trying to provide old freeware which have lost their mirror hosting, and Libra's ability to draw from magnet links is useful. Plus, I must say, it's material design implementation is prettier than uTorrent, Transmission and BTC. Anyway, Libra works without headache, which is what I was looking for after trying other apps.

Works well. It has some basic functionality, like optional sequential downloads and the option to prioritize some files. The major advantage it has over competing apps is that it doesn't have any intrusive ads. For me, it does everything I want, and is relatively easy to navigate, straightforward, and simple to use.

By far the best of torrent clients I've tried. All the others are overdone and filled with debilitating ads. This client is clean, simple, free, and does the job. The negative reviewers don't know what they're doing, I had no trouble selecting files within a torrent to download, selecting my SD card for storage, and locating the download directory. Highly recommend.

One of the best torrent apps available. There is only one problem. If the app is shutdown and I open a magnet link, it never retrieves the info. I have to back out and open the magnet link again, as the app is now running. I can open magnet links over and over, and as long as the app is running, it will get info everytl time. But if it's closed, it will never get the info upon starting.

Excellent, full featured torrent application, and free and open source as well! Downloads and seeds torrents smoothly and unobtrusively in the background. One recommendation, as others have also noted: there appears to be a bug in trying to change the default download location. Users can choose internal or external (SD Card) storage, but if you try to change the actual download folder, the application gives you a "permission to access device storage denied" error, even if you have gone into Android's system settings and manually granted this application storage permissions. Just a small bug.
