The experience is absolutely the worst. It's difficult to track the order status. The app does not provide any functionality once the order has been placed. Consequently, the restaurant is in control and can deliver your order at their convenience. So probably have to eat the food ordered for lunch as dinner. However, this is not a concern, is it?

I was using it for 3 years, but I am stopping now. 2nd time in a row I am making an order and it's canceled after over an hour of wait. The support chat is a bot which addresses all questions regarding order status with "unfortunately I am not able to support with that"

I've used Lieferando for 5+ years with hundreds of orders and no history of refunds. When I received a completely wrong order, the app offered no real support. The AI chatbot is useless, can't escalate issues, and no human agents are available. Despite the driver's and restaurant's admitted mistake, my refund was denied based on false claims. Lieferando offers zero protection for loyal customers when things go wrong. Unacceptable.

Worst experience ever. The app shows my order as “delivered”, but I never received anything. The courier didn’t call, didn’t ring, and nothing arrived at my door. The support is terrible – only an AI bot that can’t help with anything, and there is no way to reach a real human. You spend money, get no food, and no help at all. Shameful for a company this big. I do NOT recommend this app to anyone

It just crashes my mood to see that my order gets cancelled after 2 hours of waiting when I just want to eat some good food after a long day. And, not to say this in a offensive way but, if it's not a german deliverer something in the order will be either messed up or miss completely. I'm hungry AND disappointed. Either get some better couriers or just don't take orders you can't fulfil. But letting someone wait for 2 hours without anything happening is just evil.

the amount of disrespect from lieferando to their customers is outstanding,once is a coincidence, twice can happen, but three times is a pattern, and it has nothing to do with the delivery services provided by the courier, but with the lieferando as a platform. No answers, no support, weird problems to appear and it is something new each time. The way their app is blocking negative reviews to be submitted is also a separate question.

Update: Changing my review from 1star to 3 star, since the User Interface oc the App has significantly improved and the Payment method is also easier. I would still like to see an improvement in the estimated delivery times for the order to arrive. Regardless of "average delivery times", app should show more accurate delivery time estimates.

The experience with the app is the worst, sometimes the app lets you place orders at closed restaurants without warning, so the restaurant takes the money and gives you the order hours or even days later, sometimes the food never arrives and if you do not call the restaurant or go in person, you simply lose your money, do not use this app, UBER EATS can be a little more expensive, but it never makes you lose money or patience, simply LIFERANDO is the worst option.

Horrible delivery app, worst I've ever used. I've made 3 orders from here and every single one has come with so many problems. Last time, we ordered, waited an hour and a half, & the restaurant cancelled the order. We only got refunded for the food and not for the tip that we had included for the driver. Lieferando refuses to refund us the tip, even though no service was provided, as they say it was given to them as a gift. They are now stealing money from us. NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS APP!!!!!!!

If i could i would rate 0, had multiple issues with orders (not all of them fault of lieferando), they have no way to arrange a refund or resend. Only way to raise complaint is an "ai assistant" and the single question you can ask is where is my order. Literally no way to get a complaint through in the whole app. Not to mention all the other issues people mentioned here, like the silent increase in prices compared to on site price. just awful, go with other delivery apps when you have the option

A simple delivery app which is fairly easy to navigate in English. Payment options have a good variety including card and PayPal. The app locates the general address quite accurately. Confusingly, the search bar is on the bottom and the address at the top. Payment info is not saved, but rather added at the end of the transaction.

The App has a major problem when it comes with credit card. I have reached the customer service many times, but it seems like they're aware of the problem and can't fix it. They simply advised to uninstall the app or change the browser. Even though I did, the problem still ongoing. More importantly, I came to conclusions that they are simply DON'T CARE! Therefore, I am giving one star, and I wish if I it was zero.

I love the website. The app...not so much. 1. I was forced to use the app to redeem a coupon. 2. I tried using the app. 3. None of my favorites were saved in the app. 4. When attempting to use my paypal account I am being forced to use a credit card even though I normally can select my bank account, which is my default option. While trying to cancel the transaction I lost access to the coupon.

Had a missing €10 item in my order. Immediately reached out to both the restaurant and app to remedy / be refunded. I've now reached out multiple times and only received automated "sorry we didn't get to your message, reply to this email if your request is still open". It has been 3 weeks and I still don't have my money back. This is a common feature on UberEats and Deliveroo. Do not order from Lieferando - if you don't receive items you ordered and paid for, you will never get your money.

This app is a joke compared to what I'm used to in the states. Maybe I just had a bad experience but: the app says the food was going to arrive within 1 hour, after an hour and a half it changed to say the restaurant had confirmed my order was in it's way soon, then 15 minutes later my order was cancelled. No one ever came to the door. And I found an email later saying they couldn't get a hold of me. The app needs embedded messaging between deliverer and customer. I will not be using this again

I'm glad this delivery service is available. But I'm sad because lately restaurants that used to deliver to my address now don't due to what the app says. It works online but not the app, so I don't understand. I get through putting in my order only to be told last minute "this restaurant doesn't deliver to your address" when they totally do. I have to redo everything and try to find a way around it. Also more restaurants would be awesome too. I wish more was available. App can be finicky.

I ordered food, it was not delivered. I tried contacting support, they ask me to contact the restaurant. The restaurant says they tried delivering food but couldn't find us. They never tried calling. Restaurants have the final say. You don't get a say. Update: the team responded to my review with " get in touch..." I wrote an email last week, but know response at all. Just empty words.

We ordered, paid, and the restaurant never received the order for more than 2 hours. The order never showed up on the Lieferando App either. Thinking it was a glitch, we ordered again and encountered the same issues. After 2 and half hours, both orders went through. Needles to say, we received a duplicate order 3 hours late. They also have no way to cancel the order within the app. Beware!! If I could give it 0 stars.. I would!

UI is awful. When you submit an order it loads indefinitely, you have to quit the app to go to orders to open the tracker. Time estimates are way off, food is delivered half an hour earlier or later than what they estimate. If there is a problem with a delivery you get a long coupon code to manually enter, rather than just applying credit to the account. There is no phone support in case of problems, only emaol, ridiculous for immediate food issues. Worst delivery app.

The 5 stars represents the app experience and the customer service as Lieferando has been phenomenal overall in placing orders, allowing me to make changed and add notes. whenever something is wrong they are quick to correcting the issue or getting a refund for what is wrong/missing. The only down side I've come across is the delivery times, the delivery is handled by the restaurant and well let's just say the estimated time and actual time can sometimes be extremely off, one time by hours.
