Would definitely rate 5 stars if you could track micronutrients as well as macros! I purchased premium thinking this was a feature (that's my own fault for not paying attention haha) but alas it is not and I don't see myself sticking to using 2 different apps! (Too much scanning and repeated data.) Otherwise great app very user friendly, and a great way to keep track of general eating habits. If micro tracking was also within this app, it would be unstoppable. :)

This app looks sleek. I really liked the smiley faces ranking food. HOWEVER, I cook all of my meals and entering recipes in here is a chore. Adding each ingredient is a slow and cumbersome process, there's no way to sort by verified ingredients, and some don't have measurements other than weight. I also don't need to type in directions for something I make all the time. I only want to use this for tracking, not as a recipe book. For that reason the app is useless to me.

It's really difficult to estimate portions in this app as many foods are measured in "ounces," without any indicator of whether that means weight or liquid volume. Rather than only being a simple calorie tracker, the app has feedback that it gives as well on how well someone may be doing for their daily calorie count. While this may work for some, it didn't work for me and just turned me off from the app.

I remember it being really good, now everything useful is a paid feature. The only things you get for free are a calorie counter and weight graph really. They tease you with setting up a personalized diet plan or offering tips to be healthier then link you to the subscription option. It won't even let you adjust your calorie goal for a standard plan.

I think it's the most beautiful app for tracking. It's really convenient and simple in use and gives a lot of positive emotions. I've purchased a year subscription. The price is definitely sensible for such great functionality on my opinion. But haven't tried all features yet (like diet plans etc.) and now I'm looking forward with excitement to discovering them step by step.

It was a good app for me but there was a tremendous amount of functionality behind the pay wall. There are better competitors these days that are more fully featured on their free tiers - just check the Google Play ratings and you'll find them. Minor gripe, I hated that I couldn't reset my initial weight after returning to the app after a couple years. My target weight loss bar was ruined by this detail, since it would effectively show no progress until I returned to my original weight.

Lifesum Food Tracker & Fasting is an indispensable tool for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Its intuitive interface makes tracking meals and fasting schedules effortless. The extensive food database and personalized meal plans cater to various dietary preferences and goals. Plus, the fasting tracker feature is a game-changer for intermittent fasting enthusiasts. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their eating habits and overall well-being!

Have used the app for two weeks now (free version), everything I need is here and it's great. However, after the last update it made me install and set up Health Connect on top of Google Fit. Before that all the syncing went smoothly, but now it doesnt seem to add the calories burnt while walking (only shows duration and steps, but no calories), and it also doesnt sync the weight anymore. Please look into this syncing issue, its really frustrating.

This app is great no matter how you use it. I'm not really big on calorie counting, however, I love this app for all of its features such as water tracking, nutrition facts, recipe and meal creation. The suggested meal plans are amazing and really help me stay on track with my goals. The added fasting section is also amazing! It is actually better than the other two fasting apps I used previously. Over all great app and worth the subscription price. Peace ✌️!

First week has been easy, and app is very helpful. I refuse to spend a lot of time cooking-- fancy and expensive I am not. So many other diet apps and plans don't work for me. This allows me to target whole-food clean eating, fasting times, and has had all the calorie, carb, and nutrient values of my go to frozen meals, snacks by brand (ie Kroger Nut Medleys). It also tracks my stats for water, veggies, fruit, body measurements-- all in one place. Highly recommend!!

The app is good, but it should allow one to be able to specify the correct amounts of nutrients in the foods we eat and our drinks. Many of the verified brands don't coincide with the actual values on the packages and trying to input the data is sometimes difficult (as you have to change the number of ounces, etc. to get the right amounts). Foods marked as verified don't match up to the actual nutritional values. The calorie intake is never correct.

Lifesum gave me a 2 week free Trial. I have tried most of the calorie counting apps. This one is the best one out there by far. It's expensive though to get all the features. Most of the features advertised are unavailable on the free version. It does allow you to count your calories log your water intake and has some help articles. If all you need is a calorie counter then I would recommend this as it is one of the better ones out there that I have tried.Hence only 4 stars.

It's okay...you have to pay for the fasting. It's got a nice interface. Beautifully designed. The food tracker is free. It would be cool if it was all free and you had the option of watching ads as your way of "paying" for the other stuff. That would be cool for those of us on a fixed income or budget to survive in this now overpriced world.

I initially downloaded the app because I wanted something to track how much water I was drinking daily. I love the diet and menu options, and when I use them, I am successful at losing or maintaining weight instead of gaining. Converting the diet menus to a shopping list could be a smoother transition, but overall, I love using this app.

Good design, but the food database can't be trusted. Firstly, even the verified foods' nutrition facts are often wrong. In fact, there will be multiple conflicting copies of the same food, both with a verified badge. Worse, the search function doesn't bias toward more popular foods. Search "strawberry" for example, and the top result is a lollipop flavor!

Overall, I love this app. It's way better than my fitnesspal and as silly as it sounds, having to track your water, veggie, and fruit intake in a fun and easy way encourages you to want to consume more of those things (which is always good)! However, recently it's been super buggy and just not updating for hours at a time. If I try to search something it just spins for all eternity. Im spending money on this app and I shouldn't have an entire day of downtime where I basically can't use it.

I love this app!! It's the only "dieting" app I've used that I've liked. It's more of a food diary but offers recipe ideas and makes it easy to record meals by scanning. The only improvement I could think of (and would make me change to a 5 star rating!) would be to manually record food nutrition instead of adding ingredients. Sometimes I get a sandwich and I want to record the nutritional information listed but I can't. If this is already a thing lmk and I'd be happy to change my rating! 🙏

App covers several great diet plans but you can't modify them to fit your needs, only net calories. I'm pregnant with gestational diabetes and need an app to track my carbs, protein, and sugar intake but cant. In a way I feel like I just wasted my money. App has free recipes and the scanning feature works on just about everything. Manually searching for foods can be a pain as there are many options for the same item, same goes for tracking water intake since you cant truly modify bottle sizes.

This is my favorite of the fitness and diet tracking apps I have tried. The interface is easy to navigate and well designed. A majority of the food I try to log is listed in the app, and if it isn't there are close alternatives. You can also track water and exercise which it will consider into your daily calories. And when you update you weight or height it adjusts your calorie and protein, fat, and carbs goals. Very useful and easy to follow. I've already lost 20pounds! Highly recommend!

App is very simple to use, but powerful. I was blown away by the barcode scanning feature. Not only is it accurate and effective, but executes instantly. In general, makes it very easy to track and visualize your diet. Update: App is overwhelmed with ads now. Will start looking for a replacement App since the experience is so diminished
