Dictatorship of developers! This app is going on all the different directions but the one it was originally meant for: be a highlighter for web and PDFs. Now it looks more like a news aggregator as the developer probably wants to mine the highlights of the users. This app has undergone so many changes but has yet made no meaningful process on searching and organising content. Switching to Diigo forever.

Great app and the extension in Samsung Internet is brilliant. To work you have to turn off smart anti-tracking in Samsung Internet or in the other browser you use. So you have to turn off anti tracking for a few minutes to be able to log in to the Liner and highlight what you want and then turn on anti-tracking again. Or turn off anti-tracking permanently. That's a downside but Liner can't log in to your account with cookies constantly being deleted. So your choice.

This app is what I have been looking for a long time! I really liked it, my only criticism is that sometimes it stops syncing the text that I have highlighted, like if I refresh the website all the highlights will disappear and they won't appear on my profile either, so I have to constantly check if it's syncing or no, the rest of the app is really amazing!!! I just wish you could fix that ♡ device : android samsung

I used to love this app, it helps me to reducing so much time by tagging the important articles in the internet browser, so I didn't have to re-read the pages all over again when I needed it someday. But, after I uninstalled this app and reinstall it just now, I can't use it the way it was. I have to go to the Liner's app to find the article instead of highlighting the sentences from my internet browser directly. The product excellence is downgrading.

It's a nice app, but it's VERY BUGGY. Dragging highlights is very erratic. I sometimes spend more time picking out the edges of a highlighted section than actually appreciating what the highlighted text means. Also, when working with pdf files, after highlighting something, the bubble won't appear the next time you want to highlight something else. You'll have to close the file to get if back. This is mildly infuriating to be honest.

I am satisfied with the relevant image it pulls out from search. I just want a dark mode so that it is pleasant to read in dark. I see no such option as of now. Plus, please make text appear litte big and have a good readability with no underline (this looks bad). You can see beago ai app for reference. Hope you will work on this changes and deliver it fast.

Had to change my review, I previously called this a "good highlighting tool with a useless social media element attached". This now almost an entirely social media / article suggestion app. They've updated the interface and I can't even see where I'm supposed to entire sites to highlight text anymore??? I don't even think you can highlight with this anymore! Can't see the option to anywhere!

The app is very full of bugs. If you try highlighting the first word in a paragraph it will go crazy and highlight the whole page. It's also way harder and more convoluted to actually open an article for highlighting. The last straw for when i finally uninstalled the app (from all devices) was when an updated forced me to follow 3 out of 8 topics and 1 random person. Would not recomend it for anyone.

The mobile version is disappointing. The desktop version is more than I ever needed. HOWEVER, the longer your prompt is on the mobile app, the longer the lags become and it gets to a point where it either crashes or just freezes. That is my main frustration with the mobile experience. Not sure why that happens but just so you know. Something needs to be fixed there.

Tried the professional version, wouldn't cooperate. Why are you giving me bulleted points when I asked for a simple essay? Also you can RARELY get a complete response because it's ALWAYS "something went wrong. please try again" by the 6th time, I gave up.

To the Development Team, I'm experiencing an issue with the "Sources" section in the app. I can't scroll through the sources, it seems stuck. This makes it difficult to view all available information. Additionally the performance of app is sometimes slow. Please look into this. Thank you.

I thought upon downloading this app it would be as to some use to me but once downloading it u came to realize very quickly that it is extremely intrusive each time I go to my internet browser to search something it always pops up at the bottom of the page and I can't seem to exit it off there without having to close my entire browser and start over once again and the search results it give me in the window isn't even close to what I was trying to search for very annoying to say the least.

Was useful when you could highlight what you needed to highlight. Really liked being able to save and file things away. With the new liner it's all gone. The whole reason I was using liner is gone. Don't care for the new ai business. Now I have to figure out how to get my files out of this. Don't recommend this app anymore. It's not the original version.

Lost its original purpose & AI gives answers in Japanese to boot. This app was good at saving highlights, not great, but better than now. Finicky but useable. The devs pivoted to AI features but never nailed down what people used the app for... highlighting. Now individual highlights are saved separately even from the same article. Despite many requests for better export of highlights its gotten worse. The push is to use the AI, which is actually not that good plus is answering in Japanese.

This app marketed itself as a simple highlighter tool that keeps track of your highlights and works on multiple apps, and to some extent that is correct. However, upon downloading it, I realized it was more of a social media app based around highlighting. Also, I feel like the notifications are a bit intrusive. I am completely disappointed with this app.

I've given this app plenty of years and opportunity to grow and work out the kinks, but I'm done waiting. I was patient when my highlights were in the wrong places when I would go back to look over them at a later date. I was patient when my highlights wanted to move all over the page as I was highlighting. And now after the most recent update when I attempt to highlight, the highlighting button stays hidden behind the options to "cut/copy/select all". Time to move on to better things.

While I do believe the app can be improved in some ways, I do not believe it to be as complicated to use as many of the reviews state. It definitely does work, and you are able to review the list of all highlights and can easily export them as a word document which saves so much time for note taking. It would be nice if the liner tool was an add-on to Firefox or chrome browsers because who wants to use a separate browser every time just to highlight stuff? All in all it does work and save time!

Liner provides a good way to capture highlights as you read, but no good way to use the highlights. It should be easy to export your highlights for use with writing or a notes app. To do this in Liner, you have to hit a button over and over for every single highlight individually. It's an annoying waste of time. There’s no API or even a “download all” button. Without this, Liner is not for me.

New app version is confusing. Hitting back button always closes the app which is frustrating. They're trying to make some kind of browser and it's wayy too complicated. There's not one but three rows of menu bars in addition to whatever you're trying to read. Now there's no way to browse highlights because when you look at one highlight it resets you to the top of your highlights list, so you can't browse highlights anymore, which was the entire point of this app. I just want a highlighter app!
