So far no issues! It's very easy to use and allows me to title and create separate chapters, I haven't looked at any features besides the spell check but I'm enjoying the simplicity of the app as it gives me just what I need. When trying to use italics though it gives me an underscore instead of changing the text.

Firstly just to note. The app has crashed twice. I don't know if that was anything to do with the app itself or my device. However that is the only issue I've had. And it did save what I had been writing both times. That is the only issue I've had. The app is fairly easy to understand, and navigate. It's not massively pay walled. It's not riddled with ads, (at the time of this post) and the two times it crashed were of such minimal inconvenience that I see no reason not to give 5★

I fell in love with it when I opened it, but as soon as I started to try and move my work over, I noticed some key issues. - No way to change how the text is aligned on the screen (right, middle, left) - Volumes created in directories appear like normal directories - Markup doesn't register the correct amount of space in between your writing, causing it to show as a block of text. Unfortunately, I personally need more control of my text. Looking forward to updates, almost worth the membership!

The app is easy and smooth. Decided to buy it outright. Worth it in my opinion. Can break it up by chapter and load a cover page. I think my only complaint would be numbering pages, and being able to do double spacing. They did say they are still adding to the app so that will probably be coming soon. Love the app and simplicity. Good work guys. Oh maybe expand on the widget a little and make it into like an actual notepad that you can see from the home screen and not just a quick access button.

I've only briefly used this app, and have opted to try the monthly pro plan to see how I really mesh with it before paying the lifetime price of 20$. That being said, I really love the background aspects so I'm not looking at a bland plain background, how I can add custom fonts, etc. It's one of the nicer apps I've tried for writing on my phone.

I love how you give an option to watch an ad for premium services if you can't afford to buy it. It also has a better aesthetic than the other apps. I love the background options and how you can make your own custom one and the way it literally converts it into a book for you all you have to do is write and the app does the rest of the work for you. Amazing app

The fact you can add Pictures is why I use it.. you can change from Frame to Listed with picture View and I really like that to.. It's a Journal and you keep notebooks in it all categorized Like 1 - 4 and you can write page after page in the Journals. I recommend you choose Writer Light for your Journal keeping needs.. it's very helpful and useful. Oh you keep them in a base File.. seriously a keeper!! Kay Bye!!

Quality of life suggestions. A prominent "New Chapter" button and a next chapter button, in editor. Then a built in numbering function. You'd just have two title boxes and one is number whilst the other is text. It would auto fill on new chapters based on last number used with option to edit and Ch. PG. Or personal options. Also, drop pre-title? An indicator for 3 consecutive spaces. Option to turn off notifications. OCD: "Keep phone clean." And a save text to index option. Thanks for readings.

I find myself able to use this app with ease. The backup feature is really good and I am enjoying the features of grammar checks and spelling checks. I have dislexia and love to write more than anything. I have plans for a series of novels and Three singles books as well. With this app I feel confident that I will complete them all safely, and with ease.

Attempting to migrate my writing environment to my tablet. Understandably, most customization options require a subscription, but there should at least be a monotype serif font option in the free version, without rooting and changing the system font. Otherwise, it's not really usable for anyone not wanting to be distracted by typeface, or that's used to writing in standard submission layout requirements (left justified, double spaced, Courrier, etc.).

This app is beyond worth it, you can get pro features for free, it's very simplistic and take little to no effort to figure out how it works, it has helped me to keep track of my ideas, take notes and far more. Italicizing, bolding, crossing things out, and far more are just 1 tap away. I am seriously thinking this is the best free writing app of all time.

I am in love with how fully featured this app is. Being able to separate your writings into stylized "novels", folders with info and a cover image, is a great addition to the workflow. Being able to split up and group chapters within a given work is also great for organizing. This isn't even touching on the backup features. Local backups, cloud backups, even being able to host a server on your mobile device and connecting to it via your pc. I'd love to see a PC app to compliment this workflow.

Awesome basic word processor without all the useless frills. Write your book of any length and as many chapters you like. Name your chapters, book, and introduction and you can also put a cover on your book. Has no center text, intend, left right adjustments for a free word processor. You can buy a one time forever app in the store. I love to own my own copy of this app. Thank you so much.

Honestly, this is the best writing app I've seen on here. You can make separate places for different chapters, it's just good all around. Also, I think it would be cool if there was a feature where it automatically indents because I kinda have issues with that and I'm sure a lot of people do too. (Just a recommendation) oh yeah and there are no ads, thank you for that :)

Absolutely exceptional! it has everything you might need, and has ZERO adds! it is amazing, and I have zero complaints! If you need something to sort out your storyline, for example, making a Encyclopedia, Cookbook, or just plain writing a story, it has chapters, it has the choice to make unlimited amounts of books- It is also INSANELY easy to use! I recommend 100%! I love it!!! My daughter recommended it to me for my job, and it is so helpful for me personally to sort out my worlds!

So, I've recently bought the premium version of this app, which isn't something I usually do, but I've been using this app for ages, and figured it was time. Plus, some of the added features seemed as thought they would make editing alot easier for me. My one problem is that I have no idea how to use the new features I've bought! If I could get some help figuring out how to use the added features, I will bump up my rating!

I have been looking for an alternative to Google Docs that will allow me to edit a document on my phone and computer and this is perfect. After using the free trials for a few weeks I forked up the $20 for a lifetime license (there are subscription options as well), which some will say is too much for a mobile app but was more than worth it to me for the chance to finally move all of my writing off of Google Docs. I have been using it daily for about 8 months now. Can't praise it enough.

Liking the app a lot so far, and it's combining a lot of features that I wish other writing apps would, but unless I'm an idiot, there is no way to change the margins in the text editor. This doesn't affect writing on my phone, but it makes writing on my tablet uncomfortable since the lines are so long they're almost unreadable. I'll probably stick with the free version long term until that's a feature.

This app has been lovely so far. I switched to this one after the last writing app I used made me lose most of my work, and this is infinitely better than anything I've used before. I've never once lost my writing, even when my phone bugs out and forces the app to stop. It's got all the features you really need without the extra bloat that a lot of similar apps have, and you can use the vast majority of said features without paying, which is very appreciated.

So far it's very simple to use. I like the style and design of the app itself. I love the themes and all the free stuff included. The only problem I have is that I wish I didn't have to keep setting a folder location everytime I reinstall. (I have to uninstall and reinstall multiple times for a reason I won't get into.) Otherwise I am very excited to start writing!
