So far so good. I have been extremely disappointed in weather apps since I purchased my new phone. My old phone had a wonderful app that did not transfer with my other data. I like the minimal permissions. I like the many display choices for the widget. I like that I can save multiple cities for quick weather checks before I go fishing. So far the ads are minimal and not intrusive. Accuracy not known yet, as I have just started using today. I am sure I won't be disappointed.

This app gives me all the features I want. It only took 5 min. to set up. (There haven't been any video ads, like other weather apps that have blasting volumes , which can't be permanently turned off). If you want to stop the ads, it's only $3. The ads aren't very large, anyway. The app has been accurate and current temperature is always displayed on notification bar..

So far loving we're loving this app. 😁 It hasn't been that long -- less than a week. I really like how specific yet simplified & easy to navigate it is. The interface is great & easy to understand. Although I am sure that predicting the weather past 2 weeks is difficult, this app you get a 25 day outlook if u want. 😊 And, did I mention it's FREE? You also can upgrade to Premium for reasonable $ if you want as well. I will update in about a month or 2. UPDATE: Mar 2024 org. review stands 😎

I've now been using this free app for many months. It continues to beat all the other weather apps I've tried. It's fast, accurate, easy to use, and provides lots of extra information relevant to my local weather beyond just the temperature and rain/sun. All of the important weather info is right at the top of the page. You can add additional cities to check the weather where your friends and family members live, too. This app is easy to use and is very well set up.

March 20, 2024: Updated Rating Excellent! So simple and fast to use. Took a little time learning to navigate (and still learning). For this 82-year old, retired, man, "Local Weather Alerts - Widget" provides all the information I want without a lot of extras (and ads) that are not relevant for me. Overall the app itself is one of the most informative and user friendly apps I have experienced! I accidentally removed my loved 5x3 widget from my Android phone. I have chosen a 5x2 widget from this app and like the look of it yet it has some problems. First, it will not auto update the temp in a timely manner causing me to manually update it often. Next is the time display does not always display all of the digits (very weird).

🥰Love the layouts, navigation is a breeze😉 and five dollars to have the Pro version without ads for the LIFETIME! It's truly the number one cost effective at a decent priced application of ALL TIME! Life is too short as it is to bombarded with ads, it's so nice to have peace instead of misery. PLEASE! Keep it this way, don't enhance it because it's working for you. Try it in building another but leave this one alone.

Sadly, it's not very accurate. I paid the one-time fee to try helping.... hope it wasn't a waste of money. Two terribly missed forecasts within one week. I guess all this technology is not capable of accurate weather forcasting. The fact that they don't send your info to a third party is important to me. The ads were minimal before I paid the fee. Update 1-16-2024: Still very inaccurate. They've terribly missed the weather forecast compared to what actually happened. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$

Nice (pro version). Very accurate (uses AccuWeather). Nice presentation. Wish it had radar showing clouds. Lots of information. For non-pro version the ads are not very intrusive. Pro version is reasonable at $4.99. Problems: The widgets sometimes do not update, the % chance of rain are all partially cut off on the Daily Forecast, cloud cover value is never correct. Had some storms go through last night. There was a tornado warning but the warning never showed in the app.

Stopped updating temperature on home screen and now I have to open the app to check. Kind of defeats the purpose when I can't just look at my phone to see the current temperature; it takes about the same time to go online and check as it does to open the app. Other than the temperature range for the day it's not accurate (says it's supposed to be sunny all day and it's overcast all day or vice versa). Love the layout and the ads aren't horrible.

Not a bad app! Ads aren't obnoxious, there are plenty of customizations and it's fairly accurate. The only issue is that the projected precipitation (both rain and snow) is always miniscule and never actually matches the weather descriptions. For example, the blurb may state 1-2in one day but only have .4 listed in the stats. Another day, it says 4.8in but only lists 2.2.

Easy install. Very intuitive features. None invasive. Low volume ads. Ads do not take over the entire screen and force you to close the ad before obtaing the weather, love that! Great features and configuration abilities. One frustration is when you add another location/city it forces you to make it your default. We want our location to always be the default. other cities we add are informational only! We'll come back after using the app longer and monitoring the data accuracy.

Excellent weather app. I checked out numerous weather apps and this one was one of the best. One thing very important to me was the use of ads. There were some really good looking weather apps that were ruined by an immediate ad taking over the screen when you opened the app or widget. While there are some small ads found here, NONE were ever intrusive by hijacking the whole screen when you opened the app/widget. Overall, an excellent weather app in every way.

Out of several weather apps I've used over the years, this is one I've settled on, and even paid to get the ad-free version. Tells me the info I want, updates reasonably frequently, and the widget is very useful as well. It's nice to be able to just swipe to multiple saved locations too, handy when traveling. One minor suggestion is that the radar maps have a legend for precipitation intensity, and that they be zoomable via pinch gestures, rather than just the +/- toggle.

I've had 3 previous weather apps, the last was NOAA because of its simplicity. However, it had frequent downtimes. I went looking again. I found that this company has harnessed ALL the weather info I need, and they managed to get it right. I've had this app for 2+ weeks, it's forecasting is very accurate. The widget has a beautiful display and interface. I purchased the app, and it is well worth it. No longer do I need to navigate around useless ads. The best I've found.

This is a fantastic app!!! It offers a total of 25 day weather forecast and a 72 hour forecast. It shows 10 days of precipitation, wind, and allergy levels. Also shows wind pressure, air quality, a detailed list of allergens and their effects for the day, and sunrise/sunset with waxing crescent. Plus all of these features you can add multiple cities in the U.S. and around the world. This app has more good weather related information than any other app I've seen or used. It deserves 5++ stars

I just installed it. I will try it for a week before I can rate it accurately. I was using The weather Chanel widget. After updating it, they give you multiple ads for each video you want to watch. I clicked on new sugar substitute is found to be deadly. I clicked it, played 60 second advertisements with no skip button forcing me to wait the entire minute to get to the story; however, I watched 18 ads for 18 minutes and gave up. Those people are greedy and on something. So far this seems better.
