Really really great vault app! It has everything I need. Easy upload, easy download. Option to keep the downloaded pic in the vault. Folder organising. Hiding the app icon. OK, it's a bit steep for the full version. On the other side, I have not regretted it for one moment.

CANNOT ACCESS AFTER HIDE APP AS CALENDAR. Pro User here. Use it for more than a year with no problem. After changing the app default photo with calendar as a disguise, I can no longer access my photo even after keyed in correct pattern Sent email to support with video as reference. For now i reserve only 2 stars until problem solve. Edited to 5 stars for lightning response from support team. Problem solved with minimal fuss and i'm back as happy user. Thanks a lot.

Absolutely effortless to use. I like the look of it and appreciate how easy it is to organise my pictures into named folders. I use it solely for photos. Support is amazing, was unsure how to best xfer content to a new phone and they contacted me quickly and explained just how easy it is to do. So glad I found this app.

Update: The application now functions as well as it used to after updating to a Pixel 6 Pro running Android 12. Might have something to do with the lack of expandable memory, but either way this issue was solved, and I love every bit of the functionality of this app. Old review: Horrifically slow after Android 11 update, it takes 1-2 seconds per photo to lock even though I'm using internal storage, whereas before it could go through 10-20 photos in one second.

Brilliant app! Nice interface and album organisation capability. Can create folders and sub folders. Support is great. The duplicate removal facility saves space and can remove duplicates within folders only, or in the whole collection. Only one other app I know lets you choose folders and it is terrible. Well done! Truly worth the payment for the premium facility which I have used for more than 2 years. Free version is great too! Wish I could give more stars.

Nothing much to say, it is better than any of the other apps that do the same thing, and that by miles. Only thing I feel is yet missing, is that you can import whole folders with their names and they then get added to the Vault, instead of having to recreate all folders and adding all the contents to them, because when you have a lot of subfolders for organising things like me, it takes a lot of work to add it all, and if you then unlock it, it doesn't put it back into the respective folders.

I have tried several apps and this is the one I use. It works well, allows files to be sorted into directories, and provides what the program describes as a "fake vault" that I use as a 2nd vault. The ability to look like another program does work although I feel that to hide the program as a calculator would be a more resilient approach. What is technically excellent is that the program does not store the password in the phone. This means the password has to be entered for every batch of files to be hidden, but it is what it needs to be in order to not create a security risk. (Some other programs do not require the password every time so must be unsecure!!!) What is also EXTREMELY good is that when I had a problem that I believe could have been caused by a faulty SD card, the support and help from fourchars was EXCELLENT and no information was lost.

Thank god I got it on the sale. This app is magic and nothing easily replaces it. It encrypts your hidden data and if you wipe your free space, the data files cannot be reconstructed by a recovery software, Which is both good and bad if you don't backup which the app has a built in feature to back up. All in all, this app is magical. I would just like to know what encryption algorithm it uses. (edit) its AES; I'm so careless sometimes...

I can tell this is a truly a well-designed apps plus with a very legit security features. A very recommended apps that come with great customer support. I don't think you can get this kind of a deal from any other similar apps. Please keep updating the apps from time to time, and as a user, we will support a great apps that come with great features with the right price. 👍👍👍👍👍

Great app, simple and functional, I love it. Just to give a complete feedback though, here goes a couple of things I'd like: (My phone is a MOTO G5S Plus with Android 7.11) 1-Renaming a folder even if there are files within it (at least in my phone) 2-A "move to" menu with actual tree folder navigation and an extra "create folder" button within it 3-Better thumbnail rendering for MP4 videos. Most of mine won't show any. 4-Hide multiple folders at once, even for videos.

Good app, but using the built-in video player sometimes doesn't display the drag to seek forwards/backwards button on some videos, which is major issue. I'd use an external player instead, but then there's a really bizarre 'preparing playback' long loading screen to deal with, which again is not ideal. Why is this necessary? Other vault apps don't have this problem. I would also prefer to at least have the option to disable volume and brightness gestures in the internal video player.

It's a nightmare to hide videos. If a video is stored in a folder in the phone and you try to hide it within the app, the app does not recognize that folder. It will aggregate all the videos that are in your mobile, making finding that video almost impossible if you have many videos in the mobile .... It has been improved dramatically since my previous evaluation. Now it meets my expectations. Update to my previous review: The developers took this into consideration and fixed it. The support for this app is great. Response to enquiries is less than 24 hrs.

Perfect app for a hidden media library. I love it and recommend it. However, I do have have a single problem, and its a minor thing. But after I renamed a parent folder, a folder inside disappeared and its content returned to the root directory. Now it seems that those files plus all others that were inside the renamed folder can no longer show any thumbnails and I can't get them to refresh it without removing the files and entering them again. Something that takes a good while for movies. I relied on the thumbnail to know what they are as I didn't name them properly, makes using the app for a video library hard.

Great app, good for travel use, where you can store all the important stuff encrypted in case you need it. I give it 3 stars because there's one issue with it, which I've contacted support about and have never been fixed since the July. They've promised me it'll be fix with the next release, and several releases have passed and it's still not fixed. Taking a photo with this app, Google Photo will also pick up the photo and subsequently backs it up on cloud, unencrypted. Only remedy so far is to take the photo with wifi off (so the cloud backup doesn't happen), then delete the photo off Google Photo before it has a chance to upload it.

The app won't let me log in, and the password recovery is a loop. I tried unlocking it with a fingerprint after I was rained on; the fingerprint scanner didn't recognize my print, and it locked me out. I tried using the password (which I still had), but it kept saying "Identification Failed." I went through the recovery process, it gave me the same password I just used, and it still said "Identification Failed." I paid for the app; this doesn't inspire confidence.

This app is still my fav vault after using many, works with most media including gifs. I like the feel and theme to it and it's versiteile allowing folders and a complete encrypted personal database. Things that really need improving however, are backups. I create LMP backup on my huwaei tablet. It does not restore successfully to my Asus phone. Constantly get BK-01. I've got a huge database so This is a big problem for me. I want more secure password than a 4 digit pin.

Been using the premium version of this app for a couple years now with relatively no issues until just recently. There are many good things about this app. The level of security and encryption are really really good and it's compatible with a SD card if your phone supports one. I can't stress enough that you should back up as often as you can either on the cloud or on your device or you run the risk of your files vanishing out of nowhere like I did! Literally the files vanished from my SD card!

Nice app with a few minor exceptions. First it's too easy to refresh the screen, and why would you need to to begin with? so if you select items and then accidentally pull too far down it refreshes and uncheck all your selections. The other thing that I wish the app would have is a more disguised entry screen like other apps use. When you are first presented with a password unlock, it raises questions. The app allows you to change the icon but it should have some kind of covert login screen to, in my opinion. Other than that it seems like a very stable and usable app.

Great app, lot's of useful features. Contacted support, they were very helpful and fast at responding to a series of emails regarding transferring data from old phone to new one. *Tip- When transferring data make sure to use the exact same password as on your old device when setting up new lockmypix app on new phone and restoring from a backup you made on your old device. Otherwise it won't work because all the data is encrypted and won't transfer over without the old password.)

I just downloaded the app and really like it so far. It would be 5 stars but there are just a few things I'm struggling with. When I am in a folder, I am unable to exit the folder without leaving the app entirely. I should be able to but something is glitching. Also, when I place photos in the app they come in rotated differently. All in all, though, the app is designed well and does exactly what I need it to do.
