I have never loved any version of this app over the years (desktop version is A+ however) but it gets the job done even with a bit of hassle. Questionable UX design but that aside most annoying is the constant bugs especially when taking notes. Cursor skips around. Only remedy is to save the note, close and come back to it. Sometimes while you are typing it just deletes the entire line you just typed. Sometimes while tying the cursor skips back to a previous line. I can go on and on.

I love this app. It's a great companion to my Windows Logos app. I have multiple layouts, some simple, some complex. I can link all the tabs, so when I go to a new book and verse, the interlinears and commentaries also update to the same place. Just swiping from side to side changes tabs, so it's very easy to go from the Bible to the interlinear or commentary in the phone's full-screen mode instead of just a small pane on the phone. It's still possible to split the screen if you want. Download any resource to your phone for offline use if you're not on wi-fi. Save any number of layouts you want. Awesome app. The Faithlife Study Bible app works much the same way, so switching between Logos and Study Bible is like having another layout open. I also like being able to enter citations with a space between chapter and verse rather than having to use the colon, like on the biblegateway website (biblehub lets you do that).

The easy part was setting it up with my Logos account, but it went downhill from there. My primary mobile use is Bible search and read. I have found neither to be satisfactory. Search is difficult to configure and perform, although I am starting to understand its oddities. Reading has been a disaster. I prefer NASB, which the app will find and search. But every attempt to read it gets a "navigation failed" error and 4 attempts to download it have all failed. UPDATE: V8 & later are much better.

Absolutely love it. Only problems have been related to my account: 1. I could not make the changes I wanted from the app (email and password) 2. After making my changes online (email and password) I was not able to change my login information in the app and had to uninstall and reinstall the app. I had 2 simple annoyances that are easily avoidable without any developmental changes. All of the great things more than outweigh these two nuances so I stand by 5 stars and would highly reccomend it.

Great features. Now that they added Wordsearch titles the content is even more relevant than before. Interface is still not "mobile intuitive" and not up to par/ease of use that Olive Tree mobile app has. But the tradeoff is you can DO more with Logos...once you (if you) can figure it out and then remember how for next time. 1 star off because the app won't let you store your books on SD, making it hard to use my (extensive) library when/where I have no signal.

The logos Bible software is the best, without a doubt, Bible software out there. It is great for both beginners who are just dipping their toes into Christianity and for professional scholars, and everyone in between. I do not have the space here to enumerate the features that make this worthwhile, but it is so useful for in-depth, studying and even casual journaling. Though of course the issue is the price of the software, but thankfully in the year of our Lord 2023 everything is a subscription

The most powerful app for Bible study. Used it for decades and still breadth and depth of its capabilities. UPDATE: A recent update has broken highlighting or simply selecting a verse. When tapping text, display typically jumps ahead a screen or two. (Yes, I read instructions for the new features.)

The scrolling is very jumpy. Every time i try to select something to highlight, it scrolls a page down, and i can't see what I've selected. As far as I can tell, if I want to enable read alloud for accessability, i would need to pay $630 for a bronze package. Severely lacking compaired to YouVersion but im required to use it for my college class

Ver 10 is OUTSTANDING! It does everything I like doing in Blue Letter Bible, but w/ waaay more Bible translations, and references & allows you to custom build your library of bibles & references as well as seemlesly go from the bible verses to the reference materials on the same verses on the same display simultaneously. Fantastic! Oh, and the searching, & relational contextual filtering, & graphical querying. I just can't anymore, it's overwhelmingly useful. Truly blessed digital bible study!

This got addressed so quickly, thank you so much. Just in time for Bible study. THANK YOU Original comment: This was my go to for listening to the word throughout the day. I got a new phone and now the app has no option for me to listen, everything else works but I don't see the speaker icon in the top right area...please fix this. I have an s24 ultra.

Difficult Navigation for Highlights (scrolling when it should not) and The Lack of a "Read-Aloud Function" limit the app's usability. The read-aloud function should be in place by default, simply to aid the visually impaired. (Support says it has the function, but it's a very expensive upgrade). Additionally, improving the text selection so you can highlight the portion you want without it scrolling out of control would increase the usability to make it a better partner with a desktop app.

Going to a reference takes too many steps. If I want to go to John 3:16, for example, I can touch the reference at the top, find John in the list of all 66 books in a clutter of colors. Then chapter, then verse. The other option is to tap the search, type the reference, but it's not the top result, you have to go down to "table of content." I just think it's unintuitive, a few versions ago it worked perfect, but now it just takes so much work. Also, I'd like to be able to edit sermons.

Listen. For free, you can really read, learn, explore, and study the Holy Bible in countless different versions and languages. You can take notes, instantly go to references with pop-up windows, highlight, save, bookmark, access definitions, and so much more with this app. You can read 2 versions of the bible simultaneously to learn different translations and meanings behind the Word of God. It's incredible, and I'm so thankful that I accidentally stumbled across it. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I like many features about this app. It gives good flexibility to reading. Font and background looks very professional. Being able to adjust font size and adjust brightness to ambient conditions is great! Some apps won't allow resizing fonts. Allows book removal so you can save memory after you read them. If you are online, it allows you to use many books free! Here's a plus: you can read books that haven't been downloaded.

The app generally works well, but Faithlife desperately needs to add a widget for tracking reading plan progress. Getting to the reading plans in order to check boxes is a bit too complicated, and it would be much more helpful to have a feature on the device's home screen facilitating this.

I decided to leave a review after seeing how quickly the Logos team responds to reviews with issues or suggestions and actively addressing them, it's great. For those really digging into the Word, there isn't a better Bible app out there, it's the most advanced tool you could have in the palm of your hand. The only thing is the load rate like when scrolling or switching to one area or another. It could be a consequence of being an online platform while having so many tools at its disposal.

I enthusiastically appreciate the Logos app.The content matches your own choices. You can buy additional materials as needed, but it comes with a large library of books, devotional materials, study aids, commentaries, audio and visual courses. The sale prices are great. It covers many denominational and theological perspectives. The support and training offered is reflective of the loving ministry of Christ.

Superb app with the signature Logos look and feel. Ability to keep multiple windows open at same time for easy toggling. Your library and current active tabs are immediately accessible as soon as you open the app. Of course it's not a replacement for all the ease and sophistication of Logos desktop, but for a Bible app on a mobile device it's great for on-the-go reading and look-ups.

Very useful in a lot of ways, I like that it has many different tools to use to help take notes, read notes that others have made and look at original translations. A couple features I would like to see added is the ability to change the color of the verse number so it stands out more within the text when looking for a certain verse in a paragraph. And also a high refresh rate when scrolling. From my understanding while using this app, it loads the entire bible but it lags when scrolling fast

Best of the best. I have been using logos for 20 years and the phone app for last 5 I guess. Language tools are essential! Even after years of Bible collage and seminary I need the tools to refresh my brain and help me. Logos makes it all super fast and smooth. I agree with others on highlights function... A simple undo highlights seems important but I can't find it. Other than that I love adding books and resources then you can search thru everything, boom. It does keep getting better!
