Camera started out working great, but then a recent app update happened in the last couple of months and it no longer works as a live-camera feed. You have to manual refresh the feed and it won't notify you if a crossing-detection has occured or if your kid is crying; otherwise its completely useless. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The troubleshooting options given by their support team consist of making sure the camera is turned on and connected to wifi; not helpful

Sometimes has trouble connecting or says WiFi is weak/poor connection and gives you the little loading circle continually when it's only 15' away from the router. Happens randomly and is quite inconvenient. Have to reset it/unplug the power sometimes to get it to work again properly which can be annoying. Sometimes even that doesn't help and have to reset the app back to a previous version.

The video feed constantly glitches out with weird lines and chunks of the video feed becoming blurry or disappearing completely for 20-30 seconds almost non-stop. It becomes incredibly frustrating trying to see if my baby on the feed when it's cutting half of the video out or has a bunch of lines through the feed. I know this isn't due to my internet connectivity either, this is a problem with the Android app since my wife has this on her iPhone and never has an issue with the video feed.

It can be very unreliable with internet connectivity even with a near perfect wifi environment. We have a gigabit internet connection within range of the modem and extension and it still loses connectivity frequently. Without Lolicare, this isn't really much of a "smart" baby monitor. But then again, is lolicare worth the cost if you can't depend on the camera to remain connected to your network?

Three star review as the older camera (we have 2) from 2019 is more reliable, the newer one goes offline way too much. The old one stays online so it's not an internet issue. This especially sucks in the middle of the night when the disconnection alarm goes off and wakes you up. The most recent update has also made it so both cameras will randomly turn off the background monitoring in the middle of the night which makes it so that we cannot hear if our kids are crying through our phone.

Cameras cut in and out constantly.... only seems to work about 40% of the time, and we have 3 of them. The idea is awesome and incredibly handy, but they almost always seem to freeze or lose connection when we need them most. We even upgraded our router, moved it and relocated all 3 cameras attempting to fix the signals but still, no improvements. Not to mention these won't work on a 5G network so any strong router upgrade is completely useless, rendering these ineffective.

Really like the system and it's well updated. I now have multiple cameras and am very happy. Only criticism/request is that I wish I could click a button and all the screenshot previews for the various cameras get refreshed. That way I could get a quick glance about what's going on in the immediate past and be able to select the appropriate camera. Currently the screenshot previews are a bit old and don't reflect very recent activity.

Being generous giving 2 stars. Stuck with this camera for more than a year and while it did an OK job, the camera itself had horrible wireless connection issues. It would constantly drop out and each time I would contact support, it was blamed on camera placement in regards to closeness to the router. I went as far to buy another access point to extend the signal to that side of the house and it didnt fix the issue. I finally broke down, bought a Nanit, and have had great signal and zero issues.

It's not perfect, but it's overall a fantastic product and value. It's pretty unbelievable that they offer a continuous video streaming service for no recurring cost, which I'd definitely be willing to pay a small monthly fee for. The camera quality in low light is the best of any monitor I've had, and the configurability on the alerts is solid as well. The new web view is awesome as well. Thanks for a great product!

Just don't. After using this product for the past 2 years, I have learned that other camera systems are actually WAY more reliable. This system is incredibly high maintenance. It's unacceptable the amount of times this product needs to be unplugged and reset -IN A SINGLE DAY. I didn't expect it to be perfect; I understand products glitch and need updates. But, until I compared it to other camera systems, I didn't realize how much more difficult and inconvenient it is. Save yourself the torture.

I love this app! I am a nanny and my family uses it, and by extention I use it, for my 4 month old charge. It simplifies everything so much!! We can check in on the baby, we can play music, and we get alerts when they are crying! I have two notes that don't detract from the rating but I feel like would improve functionality. The option to bypass do not disturb, as my nanny fam and I both prefer to dnd our phones at night. And unique notification tones. Thank you so much for a great program!

Camera is ok, connection sucks. ALL other devices using wireless have no problem staying connected. Used to be able to zoom in on landscape mode & see timeline. Seems an update ended that. Why? Sensor I bought with it doesn't work at all. Prongs of the plug are loose, so I can't push it into the socket properly. Would love to get a replacement sensor without having to return the monitor. This was a lot of money for the camera to cut out constantly & the sensor not to work at all. Disappointed.

The app is extremely slow. Sometimes When I would try to see my baby it would show me an empty crib which is from an earlier time. Everytime I need to check the monitor I have to refresh ut multiple times to get the latest image. It doesn't easily get connected to wifi. Anytime we try to use the camera at a friend's place it has never connected.

We've had to learn as we go, which has meant some terrible incidents when my son woke screaming and we didn't hear...which is the reason you get a monitor. I did not realize background play automatically switches off when you plug in. Why?! You already have to turn it on manually--that should be the default! We also learned that you can only connect one parent phone to the camera, then that parent has to share it with the second. If you both try to connect to the camera, it gets buggy.

I wish I went with a different camera and for my next baby I plan on upgrading because this one is essentially useless. First off, some of the features such as the mic will suddenly stop working. I am forced to put the monitor in audio mode all night long because the app will not make any sound for the noise notifications. This was working well for a while except the monitor will randomly disconnect in the middle of the night. I've already emailed support.

Works as I need it to. Few complaints though. Seems to disconnect from my wifi sometimes during overnight audio only usage. Not helpful for monitoring when baby cries if it's turned off! Also battery issue - even after I have killed off the app for the day, (not visibly running in the background) it seems to have a hidden piece still running and draining battery. I have to restart my phone to truly turn the app off. Seems like an Android only problem as my husband's iOS version doesn't do this. Other than that, works as it should and I'm pleased. Wish it wouldn't suck my battery life when I'm not using the app though.

I've had nothing but problems with this app and I'm honestly so sick of it. Lately it's saying there's a WiFi connection issue but the camera works on your phone...it just never sends a single notification or stores any history data. So basically, if you're not looking at it all the time, it's useless as a baby monitor. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, updated firmware, all the things and it still doesn't work. I'm beyond frustrated.

Worst baby camera ever. It lags so badly, it goes off ALL the time, im constantly having to close and reopen the app. It claims to record events and loud crying but it misses 90% of them (i just happen to hear my baby cry from the other room thankfully!!). Youre supposed to be able to open the camera view on Alexa devices but this just loads and loads and never actually shows me the camera. Ive tried everything - redownloading the app, updating the firmware, reconnecting to wifi. AWFUL.

I like the hardware on this camera but the app is hit or miss. I've been logged out in the middle of the night (super annoying) and also had the background mode fail on me multiple times. It also seems to have lost features to the paid version since I first started using it because I used to be able to scroll the timeline and now I can't. Overall it works well but not perfect.

Used to love my lollipop but since the newest update it looks like the frame rate of the camera has gone down. The video used to be so smooth and clear.. now it looks glitchy. Looked at the video on my husbands phone and it's the same. Not sure what they changed on the most recent firmware update but for something that needs AI to track breaths.. you'd think slowing down the frame rate wouldn't be the best choice.
