Still no fix. Don't tell me to make sure the newest version is installed because that is precisely the issue!! Shouldn't have to force stop an app and clear its cache every time you want to use it. All of a sudden stopped working. App keeps stopping and makes me force close it, still won't work. Uninstall and reinstall won't work, keeps telling me I've been logged in for more than 5 minutes. Wrong!

recently started experiencing a glitch where the app immediately kicks me out upon logging in (despite having just opened the app), and when i log back in again, it stops working. it's unusable. this glitch has been going on for over 2 weeks now. would really appreciate it if it was fixed. edit after canned response: i can see multiple people reviewing and saying that this helpline is absolutely useless. it's not user error. fix the goddamn app. (for anyone needing access, try the website!)

App was good until it wasn't. IT keeps kicking me out for inactivity on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. And many times it will crash when I do get in. Doesn't matter if I logout before closing or not. UPDATE: was suggested I try trouble shooting problem. It didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Worked for one day. This is an app issue!!!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Sadly, the horrible reviews are accurate. Both the app and brick and mortar experience are subpar. This could be excused during the clunky transition from Peoples Bank, but there has been ample time to improve. Unfortunately, the situation is worse yrs. later. For the past 4 days (at least), my mobile banking app. has been unusable, crashing at login. Of course, nobody at the branch or on phone can tell me the issue or when it will be "fixed". Changing banks is inconvenient. But it's time.

4/20/24 — changing rating from 2 to 1 star. Even though I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it kicks me out the moment I log in. What's even more frustrating is that you have to use this app for Zelle transactions, rather than Zelle itself, so not only can't you access your bank accounts, but you can't use Zelle either. March 2024 — So bad - it's OK when it works, but often doesn't. Like now. It force closes and says to update the app when the developer fixes the bug... Whenever that will be.

Lately every time I log in when it gets to the screen to see my balance it pops up saying you've been logged out for more than 5 minutes. So I re-login again and it says error app crash. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times and it doesn't seem to help the problem. I've even cleared the cache. Nothing seems to help. I used to have no issues with this app, unless they were doing maintenance.

The app is awesome if it works. I've always had to clear everything before it has ever let me sign in. Now last few weeks every time I try to sign in it flashes my accounts then logs me out. It takes logging in a minimum of 3 times, sometimes even more. It's such an inconvenience. That doesn't include all the time it's down for maintenence. If I wanted to call them I would have just done that instead of downloading their app. I've been a long time customer, but maybe not for much longer.

For the past two weeks, the app has to be repeatedly started and also stops for no reason at all. All cash has been removed. You have to reload the app in order for the app to open. The app was working perfectly for the last year and a 1/2.With very little interruptions this is a sudden change. Reading the reviews you can see that there are many people having the same issue. I hope you can find resolution to this problem. I use Android and I use IO. S systems.

The app has been crashing for weeks. On top of that, every time I try to log in, it gives a pop-up that says I was logged out. I've always just closed the window of the app, and it never did that before. Yes, I tried uninstalling, restarting the phone, and reinstalling the app. It's still having constant crashes and those irritating pop-ups.

I am having the same problem that other reviewers are. When logging it it switches to a screen that says logged out due to inactivity. It has been this way since the recent update. When I remove the app and reinstall it it comes up with a message saying the app is corrupt. Please fix the app. Update 4/19/24. The app is now working again. Thank you!

Mobile banking is frequently unavailable. The app seems to "forget" often that you have enabled login with biometrics/fingerprint. Really frustrating when you just want to access your accounts quickly and when you need them. Despite the company response, this continues to happen despite the app being up-to-date and my having an S24 with the latest OS. The screen saying "online banking is currently unavailable" at login happens more times than not. Seriously considering pulling all my $ out.

There is some kind of pop-up in between the log in screen and the online banking screen that is prohibiting the user from reaching the actual content. I hope the developer takes note of this glitch and fixes it soon. So far I have tried clear cache clear storage re do all permissions and clean uninstall and install and no improvement yet. Update 5/19/24: Login issues all the time, app stalls after entering credentials and never goes to account. Online banking login fine. Bad app bad support.

garbage app, works maybe 10% of the time. calling customer support clearly isn't the answer as all reviews say they can't help. the point of the app is because people don't want to call the bank every time they want to check their balance. transactions take forever to actually come out.. peoples was never like this and never had any issues with them. now with M&T, it's almost worth it to switch banks

App will not work, I've reinstalled multiple times and nothing. I just got a new phone. My old phone it works fine. Support doesn't know any fix either. I keep getting an error message after giving permissions "IT appears your M&T Mobile application is corrupt, please delete the app and reinstall." I tried multiple times and it still doesn't work. Lovely day

Together we can... fail to load Garbage app. Have to close and re-open 5 times minimum for the thing to load and pop up the fingerprint login. That's if you're lucky. Sometimes you'll just need to try again the next day, or the day after. Pretty much useless. Update: the only answer to a garbage app is the canned response of making sure to have the latest version installed or to spend time calling a customer service line. Defeats the purpose of app convenience

App crashes and is very buggy, even on a new Galaxy phone. When you first log in, it immediately tells you that you've been logged in for a while and forces you to log out. When you log in again, a notice comes up that the app stopped working and forces you to close. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix it. This has been happening for weeks now but no real fix yet???

I like M&T, but I recently opened an account with Citizens Bank and their app made me realize how subpar this app is. It doesn't function properly. Want to log in? Sorry! Mobile banking is unavailable! Want to transfer funds? Can't do that through the app. Deposit a check? Sometimes it works, roll the dice. Account alerts? Good luck getting them days later. Meanwhile Citizens just works. It's functional, well designed, and is great overall. M&T, please fix this. Thanks.

I love this banking app. My only problem I have with this app is the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME I log in to look at something, I HAVE to wait for a d email with a code to log in. Text it not an option. I called them to find out how to turn it off, but unfortunately turning off this extra security is not an option and I have to wait 3 weeks to see IF texting MIGHT become an option

Only reason Im not giving it one star is because when it works, it's a great app. Unfortunately, that's only about 10% of the time. The rest is failed attempts to login due to mobile banking being unavailable. If this was only once or twice it'd be fine, but it happens literally every week. Very unprofessional and a poor way to interact with customers. Quit playing around and program an app that works!

The M&T mobile banking app is horrible. It never works correctly. Many attempts to log in. The app always has trouble opening. Usually around midnight or after the balance in my account is always off. Then when I check back into it 3 Hours later it's showing a different amount. Has been going on for some time now. Talked with support and they can not figure out why it does this. It's hard to put trust in something like this when you have your money involved with it.
