I have downloaded the latest version of the app. I can't open it. It suggests that I uninstall my Norton 360 to have access. I would rather uninstall your apps, which I can't access.

I cannot access the app if I turn on my developer mode. Like most of us used developer mode to optimise our phones. This is so annoying. And the app itself is so badly designed. Time to change bank I guess

So many negative reviews!! I just sign up the account and set up apps. Why the apps still remained log on when I exit the apps? Most of the banks even digital banks will auto log out once we exit the apps. Very risky!! Lose out to CIMB and RHB. Wake up May Bank!!

I can't turn off marketing notifications so I have to block all notifications because this damn app just keeps buzzing with irrelevant marketing news. This will make 2fa a hassle, but maybe I'll just bank less with Maybank. Pity because apart from this the app is reasonably clean and easy to use.

Update: cannot log in now due to using "developer mode" on my Samsung phone. lol. Credit card transactions have a lag before it's shown...how do we track if the shop charges us correctly? How do we track for suspicious transactions? Also, estatments cannot be assessed on the app, only the website. Very inconvenient.

This upgrade is quite dumb. Now I do cannot access it. All my other banking apps do not have issue but Maybank.

After last update, the app is completely useless. Doesn't even allow user to open the app due to "unauthorised" app installed on device. This is a violation of privacy that Maybank app is actually checking what's on MY device. We know what we're doing and do not need the bank to tell us what can or cannot be installed on OUR own device. Do not assume that all of your clients are dumb, that's quite insulting!

Latest version of the Maybank app no longer works on my phone as it detects Norton 360 as malware and requires me to uninstall Norton 360 in order to use the Maybank app. I trust Norton 360 more than Maybank to protect me, hence uninstalling the Maybank app and going back to SMS authentication instead. Seriously, make sure your app works properly before releasing a broken update.

Give us OPTION TO OPT OUT of deleting apps important to us. 4⭐ for older version. Luckily I read reviews before updating. In 2023, I DELETED a mobile banking app after it asked me to delete other important, necessary apps. I have stopped using that bank for purchases and rarely use it now. I will be doing the same for Maybank if that happens. So for now, it's still 4⭐ for the old version I am using. Jun2022 Review: 5⭐ Seamless intuitive UI and great UX experience!

Just don't know what happened between the Maybank2u SG app and the Norton 360 app. It looks like conflict. Can't open the Maybank mobile app at all. Keep highlighting Accessibility Mode Detected on Norton 360. Both should have complimented each other but at loggerhead. Maybank keep asking me to delete Norton 360. Please advise? 29th Feb 2024 An officer called me the they had updated their app and can be used. Had tried numerous times still the same. So sad! 😔

Unable to login via app. It keeps loading and loading when I open the app, didn't even allow me to get to the page to key in my password. And dislike that the one-time transfer is now locked/disabled.

Update: Had to uninstall this app and then reinstalled again to get it to work. Previously after updating to the latest version, kept asking me to uninstall my Norton360 & Malwarebytes though both were already disabled in accessibility mode.

Better off with website. Still no improvement in the app Navigation is not friendly. UX is difficult to find services. False claims; you cannot do everything on this app, some features are only available on desktop website. Why should there be a GeoLoc lock for downloading this app??

Please stop telling users to uninstall other apps! You can issue advice but it's up to the user whether they want to follow! What appears as malware to you may be essential to users! Why must you impose your restrictions / problems on users? This will just drive users away from you! If this is not resolved, I'll just close my account with you and move on.

Make customer confuse with many version and hack my Maybank credit card detail and irresponsible Fraud department. I better close all Maybank account. Very insecure to have it. Learn from other bank security and services.

First they remove paynow from this app for no good reason now the BS with developer options. Luckily, I have already moved most of the funds to another bank that does not deal such BS. 1/5 rating only because there's no option to give 0.

Have decided to use the mobile web browser instead of the app because the overlords at Maybank have decided that enabling developer options somehow compromises our phones. However, this means I can only received 2FA via the less secure SMS option. Thank you Maybank for making our banking less secure. Will move most of my funds out of Maybank because they have made it too risky to bank with them.

The app functions like an unnecessary antivirus requesting I delete all other apps before using it. I don't like the fact it can access information on my other apps without permission. Screenshots options are removed, good luck on keeping proof of payment and receiving payments. It was bad before with limited functions and it's much worse now.

Spamming my notification with ads, for full 3 mins my phone keep on ringging even after clearing the notification, the ads keeps on pop up. Option to refuse ads should be available as same with many other bank's apps
