Worthless! I am shocked that there is an app like this attached to a car brand as amazing as Mercedes! This has literally Not. Ever. Once. worked for me!!! If I can even get the app to load (Big IF) it has never started my car, it can't even locate it and I am currently standing 10 feet away from it just to see if it will work! Come on developers, seriously!?

This is absolutely the worst app to use. As most of the other complaints.10 degree weather and the app errors or never connects. I spend 15 mins trying to get this damn thing to work and still nothing. Now I just get dressed real quick, run outside to start the car and run back in the house. I dont even bother with customer service cause I know they will say anything to get you off the phone. How hard is it to just place remote start on the damn key fob. Total POS.

96% of the time I want use my automatic start, there is an error. This is absolutely horrible especially considering there's no other way to use the automatic start! Kind of pointless to even have. the app is updated and STILL doesnt work. Funny. i know people that drive a Ford and can auto start with no problem but a Benz can't! Unreal. im actually considering never buying a benz aagain for this reason. horrible!!!!!

Update: 30 November 22, still hasn't worked. 15 November 2022 still same problem, I have not been able to remote start or locate vehicle. Update : for the whole month of October 2022, the locate feature says no signal (however my other brand of SUV is signal is fine) also remote start keeps erroring out. Today NOV 1, 22 same issues. This app crashes every week. I haven't been able to use it because of systems app errors.

By far the worst App I have ever used! It feels like they had couple of interns put this together over a weekend. All the logics that is used, it's idiotic. And now I can't even login. It takes as about 2 min to start the car, if it dosen't give you error. Absolutely horrible. After 3 YEARS still having issues loading! Really??? Making a simple app is this hard? Really?

Edit: the latest update did fix the connection issues that I was having. now if the app wasn't so clunky. still better than not working at all. -------- Can't even login since update and reading these reviews, I see I'm not alone. Absolutely astonishing considering the quality and not to mention cost of the vehicle that the technology side is nowhere near par.

This is the worst app ever. I have used it for almost 2 years and it works 2 times out of 100 (small bit of exaggeration, maybe 5). It is down most of the time, will not connect, gateway issues, and on the times you need it most... it falls to open!!! Mercedes and can't have a decient app that works half the time. I did not want to give 1 star but that's as low as you can go "O- Stars".... So disappointing. Mercedes need to put remote start on the key fob, my wife's Nissan starts every time.

This app is not practical or convenient to use. I would prefer a fob remote start to having to login with a pin, password, then passcode to start the car (when the app actually works) for a sum total of 10 minutes which is not enough time to heat or cool the car unless you left your heating/cooling system on FULL blast when got out of the car. Also, if your windows/sunroof are open at all the remote start won't work AND you cannot ckose the windows with the be app. I am unhappy with this app.

This app is practically useless, when it works, compared to other manufacturers apps. For a car brand with such a premium price, this app allows most 2018 vehicles and earlier the option to lock/unlock, start/stop, and activate the horn. My 2014 Acura MDX, app allowed me to roll up/down the windows, lock/unlock the doors, start/stop, and open/close the rear hatch. In addition to that, it also provided the fuel level, tire pressure, interior/exterior temperature, headlight, current mileage, etc.

This app is laughable how bad it is. Its only useful feature is remote start, which you pay hundreds of dollars for, but it never works. Remote start says it fails due to a technical issue on their end and says try again momentarily, but then you try again as directed and then it says you maxed out attempts to remote start the car. This is the case even though it acknowledges the car was never remote started.

This is the worst app! I did an update 2 days ago. It worked for 1 day and now it is back not working. There are no more updates. It just keeps saying "This page is currently unavailable, refresh" or "System Error." Mercedes should be ashamed. This is a disgrace. It's winter time, most of us only need this app for the remote start, lock, and unlock. Everything else is irrelevant. -4 year app user.

Horrific app, that consistently crashes to a point where my Android system sent me a notification to put the app in a "deep sleep" to allow my phone to run more smoothly. It is blasphemous how it never works properly, keeps asking me to log in, then abruptly logs me out, and doesn't remote start consistently. Awful, even AFTER whatever "bugs" they CLAIMED they fixed...

I have been using this for about 4yrs now. The app constantly crashes. Regardless of how many updates are pushed. It will work for a couple days and then back to same old routine. When it works it's great but its not reliable. Especially in these cold months when you want to remote start.

They fixed the"error login" issue, (Aug 18,2024), so I've updated it from 1 star ( only bc the app was pointless besides that). It's back functional now, so I can locate, remote start, and lock/unlock my suv from anywhere there is cell signal. I didn't get a coupon on a service or something as an apology, but I guess simply taking care of the issue was enough

So today I can't even access my remote start, all the app says is : this page is currently unavailable, this may be due to a system error or poor network connection. Constant bugs, constant force closing, constantly have to re input my login information. You would think for the astronomical price of $280 a year you would take care of us customers better. I guess this is the quality we expect from Mercedes.

How is it possible that this app only FAILS on THE COLDEST and HOTTEST DAYS of the year??? Sometimes it's the app login, other times, it's remote start specifically. I would say the uptime is around 90%, but those 10% are when I really, really need it to work and it never ever does! 🤬🥵🥶. Love my car, love my dealer, but not really feeling this app. 😢

The app & service is trash!! It hardly works, especially in cold weather.!! The app crashes upon opening & when it does open, remote start intermittently works. So I go to a cold car!! Not acceptable!! I am going to cancel my subscription if it doesn't improve!! I expected better from Mercedes-Benz!!

Worst app I have ever not used. I say not used because it never works. Pretty much useless when it comes to the remote start which is the main reason I want to use it , living in the Northeast. Edit 12/16/19: much improved. Thank you. Back again 2/24/25 - The app has been down for about a week "we'll be up and running soon". When pray tell? Can't use it at all yet, I've paid for this service. Also, makes me log in even though I've chosen option to keep me logged on. Really unacceptable.

Well the driving log stopped working in July. Now it is impossible to load the app. It only produces an error message. I paid for the mBrace to have access to all the app functions, so that was clearly a waste. Very disappointing. You can do better! Updated in February. I've paid for half a year, multiple updates and after each one, less works. Now cannot locate the vehicle or access the log. Do better! This is expensive!

Installs fine, allows me to login and successfully pulled up account. That is where it ends... I can't register a vehicle, select a preferred dealer, update my address or anything in this app. Literally anything I try to do just says that "This feature is unavailable" and to "try again later" but it never works. Definitely needs work. Basic functionality is dead on arrival apparently.
